Chicken parma cold/uncooked in middle. We ordered and were then told there was no garlic bread. Place reeks of cigarettes. Dont bother

Missed the heaters and music being on outside.

Spicy chilli mussels were delicious, although a spoon would have been handy to devour the sauce. The bruschetta on the other hand was disgusting…. A bun cut in half with some red onion & Parmesan on top, no tomato, no basil, no balsamic dressing & it was soggy !!!

Service is great. Staff go above and beyond to make people feel welcome. The head chef is great for a laugh too. Food is great, the sliders are a winner for me as too the pizza. The drinks are great too, I always enjoy having my drink at the bar and having a good yack with the bar staff as they are so lovely to talk too. I enjoy it that much that I have become a local and I will continue to keep going as I mentioned the food is great!!!

Dinner was just right in size and quality.I had the veal parma and veg.The menu is very good ,in the fact that its pub classy and covers all taste buds.Its a must to go back

Cold beer! Love the porterhouse

I work across Australia in my job and I eat dinner at a lot of pubs. I mainly get steaks while working away. Tonights porterhouse steak from this pub was truely terrible and I couldnt eat it. Honestly, a gumboot would of been more tender. I cant recommend eating here. It did look promising, but it didnt deliver. How do you ruin a porterhouse steak? It was the first and last time Ill go there. Staff were friendly. Hopefully the other few pubs here can offer a decent steak seeing Ill be in town for the next couple weeks..

Visited this week, the service was good just a little confusing on where to order.The meal was pretty good, Hubby had flake on the specials menu was below par, not what Id class as flake. The salad was average mostly lettuce and covered in oil.I had a parma and it was good. I had it with veg, the potatoe mash was quite salty, no extra seasoning needed. A bit heavy handed for my liking. I say the customer can always add more if they need it. IF !

Exceptional customer service and I food wasnt bad, either! I recommend the HSP.

The staff are friendly. I have yet to have a meal although looking at the lunches coming out it looks great. However for most of us locals it has lost its country pub feel. There is a small smoking area upstairs on a balcony hard for those who have problems with stairs and the only other place for those in wheel chairs or have mobility issues you must go out front on the footpath. The only entrance for wheel chair access is the alley way area which if not open you will need to ask. Has a great little garden bar area.

The food is sensational!!

No one seemed to know what was going on here, being told items we ordered were not available after we had ordered. Staff not knowing how to make cocktails that were on the menu. Food was tasteless and they seemed more concerned about packing up dinner service to get drinkers in. Then spoken to very rudely by someone who apparently is the manager. Little man syndrome I think?

Stayed while doing a job in Traralgon. Fantastic price and clean room.

Service and food great. Staff went over and above their job description by finding old photos of the pub to show me, as I have ancestral connections to the place xx looking forward to see the historical photos adorning the walls. Thanks guys xx

OMG... The Traralgon Hotel is absolutely stunning. Will be back for a dinner to try out the kitchen

Had lunch here today and was very disappointed overall.We actually sourced this pub off the main highway as it had a higher star rating.Dirty water glasses, extremely dry and overcooked chicken burger and no toilet paper, although there was a waitress refilling the paper. Unlucky to have used the one without.Beer was cold however.

Was ok, a bit annoying having the pool table near the entrance! Staff were good, locals werent very friendly. Ill give the food a shot the next time Im there

Amazing exsperance. Didnt have to ask. Staff really friendly they offed water without asking it came with a slice of lemon. Food was amazing, I order risotto all the ingeidence was fresh real parmasen flakes real Bazil,pesto sundried tomatoes. Great Price i orded the lamb rap for my mum she said Id was the best souvlaki she had in a long time it was ganiished selsa defently going back

Ordered 3 Parmas and a schnitzel with gravy...Soggy and awful! Went to Coles to get toastie supplies instead.

Very cosy place to have a mealChef is fantastic. More than I could eat. If you like the older style Hotel that is very clean and plenty of patrons but not noisy.

Absolutely lovely country pub - flathead was fresh, crisp and amazing. Lovely warm welcome from the owner - fully recommended! Kids loved it!

Went to Ryans hotel for a function, the staff were amazing and the food was really good. I also have gluten intolerance and they we amazing catering for that :)

Ben & Norma have done a great job on getting the pub back on its feet. Good meals great service, family atmosphere.

Our first time here tonight and it was pretty good. Food was great and kids meals were a decent size. Very reasonably priced with generous servings. Staff are very friendly also. We would happily come back.They dont currently have high chairs, but for us this was not a massive deal.
