Hiking and peaking the Rwenzori mountains in 8 days was a though experience, but the uniqueness and beauty of the nature compensates for the long days at the end

Rwenzori mountains are in Kasese when you take Bugoye sub-county route. The mountains can be hiked and u can reach different peaks and the highest peak is called Margherita.

Fantastic 🏞️ with alien landscapes. It has quite challening and muddy parts but its worth all the effort when you are rewarded with such amazing views. We went with Rwenzori trekking company wh really had their service in order. Very professional crew with porters and guides that really made all the difference. Will definitely come back for the higher parts of the park.

Lovely place, After the long COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, I got an opportunity to join 6 days hiking expenditure from Kampala to Rwenzori Mountains National Park along with a team of 10 tourists from 8 different counties (Nepal, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, San Salvador, Germany, and Belgium). The Rwenzori Mountains National Park is located at Rwenzori Mountain in Ugandan and is recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Having an area of 1,000 km2 (386 sq mi), the park has many other touristic please such as Africas third highest mountain peak, waterfalls, lakes, and glaciers. The park is known for its beautiful plant life. The highest peak of the Ruwenzori is 5,109 meters (16,762 fthigh, and the ranges upper regions are permanently snow-capped and glaciated. Rivers fed by mountain streams form one of the sources of the Nile

Mountain Rwenzori is one of the great tourist attraction in uganda particular in kasese.. Its one of the block mountains in eastern african..its a home of different creatures that are beautiful to see..People here are welcoming and friendly, kasese is a home of different tribes bt main bakojo are the most pipo here 🇺🇬

Rwenzori Mountains, wow!!! Yes we went there, in fact we went there until the very top! Wow! Really I can just say wow. It is a extreme experience extremely horrible and beautiful at the same. Horrible because of the dreadful work behind it you have to be fully trained and experienced to go there and I am serious. But how is it beautiful, beautiful because of the wonderful landscapes and scenery you see there. And at the very top you see the only snow there us in Uganda. Another fact is that it is the hardest mountain to go up to in Africa wow! I can recommend it but only if you are very trained and are absolutely ready for it. In the internet it might say that you only go certain metres of height but in fact you go more since there are a lot of ups and downs, they only measure it from the height of one camp to the next. Have fun bragging and showing off your amazing experience later!

The weather condition in the Rwenzori mountain is favourable,,and there are some animals that re attractive we also find the kitagata water in it so in this case i feel like inviting you all to come and have a tour in the mountain

Amazing amazing great tour guides but its one hell of a hike... Didnt go far stopped at the fist camp site but.... It was crazy

It was declared by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 1994 because of its biodiversity that includes vegetation zones, with about 2000+ plant spices, wild animals and birds. The Rwenzori ranges are snow caped with rivers flowing on its slopes. Activities done include; mountain climbing and hiking, nature walk, bird watching, cultural performances and artifacts.

"The Mystical Challenge". A seven days trek via the Central Circuit that was truly rewarding, not for the faint hearted though. You trek through four different vegetation - Evergreen Montain forest, Bamboo forest zone, Heather zone and Alpine Moorland zone. Major attractions include the three horned jacksons chameleon, waterfalls, the beautiful Lake Bujuku, Upper and lower Bigo bog walk boards and glaciers. It snowed heavily on our summit night but we made it to Margherita peak 5109 ASL on Mt Stanley. I recommend this climb to any one who has done Mt Kenya and Mt Kilimanjaro

Killer views but a very tough hike. Was glad to end it with soak in the hot springs and a dip in the ice cold water from Mount Rwenzori
