Hidden gem! Delicious Serbian food, had the pljeskavica and it was fantastic. The baklava is delightful too! The ambiance is wonderful, with eclectic and colourful decor throughout. Highly recommend.

Il posto ha superato le nostre aspettative rispetto alle foto viste su internet. Larredamento è molto curato e particolare in tutti i dettagli. Si vede che i gestori (gentilissimilavorano con passione e rendono la loro cucina un insieme di tradizione e modernità. Prendendo il piatto di assaggi per due persone abbiamo mangiato benissimo e in abbondanza. Buonissimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Andateci assolutamente!

I never do reviews, but this restaurant definitely deserves one! Weve ordered Musaka and Prebranac and they have been the best I have even eaten!! Staff is very polite and interior is super cool and cozy. Choose Musaka and you wont regret it!

Fun ambiance a bit eclectic and interesting!The food was good, they have a digital English menu.Great goulash and biggest sandwiches we have seen in Italy.The Baklava and Crepes were both very large and good as well.

Ottimo posto per mangiare la carne a Trieste, cibo di ottima qualità e locale molto carino, la simpaticissima Antonella ci ha inoltre raccontato un po le tradizioni e la cucina che propone.Aggiornamento: ci sono tornato più volte dalla prima recensione e posso dire che è sempre un piacere mangiare quì, grande gentilezza dei proprietari, locale sempre curato nei minimi dettagli e il cibo tradizionale serbo è una vera scoperta. Ovviamente confermo le 5 stelle.

After many disappointments with some restaurants in the city, this food was a real blessing for our soul. I never had Serbian food before - now, I am a fan!

The food was great, big plates and really good prices. The menu was available in english as well.

Locale che riserva tante sorprese bellissime!!! Una volta entrati vi si apre un mondo! Il locale è arredato con cura, davvero accogliente e molto bello, personale gentilissimo e disponibile, cucina tipica serba di ottima qualità! Tutti i piatti sono preparati con gran cura, abbiamo preso la grigliata mista per due persone ed è spettacolare! Carne di qualità e ben cotta, tutto freschissimo, ottime le patate e i condimenti.I prezzi sono molto convenienti.Un posto veramente da provare, assolutamente consigliato!

Delicious Serbian food and beers! Great ambiance, music and terrific service. Must taste in Trieste. Try the tasting platter for twoto go on a cultural trip for the taste buds. Accompanied with an unfiltered and unpasteurised draft beer and you got yourself an awesome night.

Arriviamo davanti al Rustico, trovato su internet alla voce mangiare bene a Trieste, ci troviamo una vetrata di una tipica osteria anni 70 molto datata ma una volta entrati........Si apre un mondo un locale che rispecchia al100% il titolare,persona molto socievole e ospitale pronto a rispondere a ogni tua domanda su pietanze (PRELIBATE....Lo consiglio al 💯

Uno spettacolo, altro non si può dire..Un ristorantino con cucina tipica serba dove la gentilezza e simpatia sono di casa, non è mancato nemmeno il biscottino per il mio cane.Porzioni abbondanti e prezzo ottimo, ritorneremo sicuramente.

Very kind personnel, exceptionally clean and wide toilet, good choice of first courses. Only slight disappointment is the limited choice of second dishes. However quality is ok.

I was here for the Serbian style burger/panino and wasnt disappointed. Whats the difference between a Serbian and a non-Serbian burger, you may ask? Well, the bread is more like panino-bread and the meat more like cevapcici. Also, it comes with Ajvar and a lot of red onions. Also had some Burek, but that was nothing special. Prices are okay; staff is nice, but service a bit slow.

Consigliatissimo è dire poco! Uno spettacolo, ristorante collocato a 10/15 minuti a piedi dal centro di trieste, specializzato in cucina etnica serba, dimostra che tutto si può fare! Meravigliosa la location, veramente veramente soddisfacente per gli occhi, il bagno credo sia stato il più pulito che io abbia mai visto. Il cibo, lo si vede dalle foto, spettacolare, buonissimo, molto abbondante e con prezzi nella norma. Un grazie speciale va ad Antonella gentilissima, simpatica, molto disponibile e competente soprattutto con anche il sorriso stampato sulle labbra ( anche avendo sempre la mascherina ). Sicuramente se dovessi tornare a trieste tornerò!

They feature a dense menu of beefy Serbian dishes and a nice variety of beers. Served with lot of cordiality and patience. Very attractive prices and familiar mood.

Tiny little mom and pop shop serving traditional Serbian food. I had the sarma (stuffed cabbagesand the pljeskavica and both were good, just as your Grannie from the Balkans would make them. Yet, a little bland at the same time. The third dish was a shopska salad, which was simply terrible. The tomatoes in it were frozen, soggy, and absolutely flavorless. For heavens sake, we are in Italy! -- Bad tomatoes are totally unforgivable.

AWESOME SANDWICHES! I went there for lunch and I had the "nema problema" panino, I payed 9€ with a bottle of water (great price for the quality and the quantity). The sandwich was huge and so stuffed that I had to use a fork for finish off the meal, I could tell that the ingredients were fresh and properly cooked. Great customer service always ready to welcome you with a smile, I will be back for sure!
