Rustik Bistro & Bar (Harper Malioboro) in Yogyakarta

We came for the dinner and we absolutely loved the place. Very important point for us was also the fact that the place is pet friendly. We had amazing meal, great service. Everything was very tasty and the atmosphere was great! Highly recommended.

Riktigt bra mat och god dryck trevligt ställe..Men det skulle behövas mera personal i matsalen speciellt när det är löning och helg då det gick långsamt med servicen tyvärr och kvinnan som tog emot oss verkade inte som hon hade koll på min bokning heller så det va tråkigt

Mat i toppklass! Vi valde sällskapsmenyn som var prisvärd och fantastiskt god! Servicen stel och opersonlig, inte så uppmärksam heller, men ändå en väldigt bra upplevelse!

Great food and Mocktail for vegetarian and non alcoholic people

Supermysig restaurang med goda drinkar och okej mat. Ostronen var en besvikelse men resten av maten smakrik och väl genomtänkt. Trevlig men dåligt påläst personal som serverade oss italienskt vin och sa att det var franskt. Värt att besöka för atmosfären och för att testa en lite annorlunda råbiff!

Rustik Bistro gör en aldrig besviken, grymt kunnig och välkomnade personal i en gemytlig miljö. Menyn är väl genomtänkt såväl som varierande beroende på årstid.

Mysigt ställe med prisvärd god mat, torskryggen var verkligen fantastisk. Goda viner och drinkar. Servicen var utmärkt, vi var ett större sällskap med samma servitör genomgående. Kan varmt rekommendera ett besök hit!

Tillägg: Rustik Bistro har problem med temperaturen i kylarna, vilket framkom efter en kontroll från miljöförvaltningen. Det kan leda till sämre livsmedelshygien och i värsta fall magsjuka gäster.Jag och min sambo blev magsjuka efter att ha ätit här på nyårsafton. Mindre trevligt sätt att fira in det nya året på och kikar man bland kommentarerna verkar det inte vara första gången gäster blir magsjuka.Mysig lokal, atmosfär och personal. Förväntade mig mycket mer smakupplevelse gällande maten, för- och varmrätt var lite väl tråkiga. Efterrätten var dock mycket god.

The thing with Rustik that really separates it from other restaurants is that theyve found a specific niche. That niche is composed of two key things, price and quality; both of which places Rustik at the upper middle of the scale. The reason I think Rustik is a five-star place is because they do so well within their niche. Prices are what you would expect from an upper-middle tier restaurant, but the preparation, innovation and cooking are actually really pushing the boundary of what youd expect from an upper-middle tier restaurant. They do so many things well, from the small but well thought out selection of wines to the fairly small but extremely well prepared selection of menu items. You wont find any organ foods here, something that usually signifies an upper-tier restaurant. You will however find oysters here, which is also usually a sign of upper-tier menu preparation. In short what makes Rustik so good is that they keep exactly the prices you would expect while at the same time providing food that surpasses your expectations. That is really a place you want to be in as a restaurant.Hats off to them for finding their niche and owning it.

One of my favourite places to eat in Gothenburg have been twice now. The fish is superb.

From great to good; wow what a nice dishes and so much taste! We started with a cocktail of the day, which was a great surprise. Sour Gin with a twist, something that came back the whole evening. Home baked bread with yoghurt (cake likeand cream is complementary. The cook gives his twist to everything and it works....the smoked sour cream cheese with roe on a biscuit of backed sweet potatoes was a delight, so was the tartar of salmon with puffed rice and roe. The wine selection we made with help of the waiter who took his time for us. Choice was pinot grigio for me and a riesling to go with the salmon.After the starters we got our main course pretty fast. That could have waited for a few minutes. Never the less, the mussels are to die for. Cooked in tomato juice and white wine, topped off with some cheese and herbs.My table companion had the steak tartare which was not minced but rough cut with red beets and a short heated egg yoke with chips.At 9 it became much more crowded and the waiter had less time for us and it seems also in the kitchen they had less mojo to throw around.The desert was a nice in cognac cooked rubarb with yoghurt icecream and puffed chocolate popcorn. It tasted good but nothing compared to the great starters and main course.This place is Michelin star worthy if they could keep up with the pace or reduce the amount of seatings.

This place is just...wow! A local friend brought us here, saying the few times she had been there food was delicious. I had the grilled lamb fillet, served with roasted topinambur, topinambur Mayo, lentil bread and goat cheese. It was pure heaven, everything went so well together and flavors so distinct yet so whole. Equally, the sweet potato-based dish and the cod were fantastic. Moreover, the staff was incredibly kind and our waiter took his time to explain how the dishes were prepared. They did their utmost best also to help us out fitting a large pram in the restaurant.

Sjukt trevligt ställe. Åt en råbiff som var helt grymt god. Perfekt kombinerad i smak och proportioner. Ruskigt gott! Used to be 4star, now food becomes so salty and greasy. Service also becomes terrible especially when there are more people. So sad to see a good restaurant going down.

Very cozy place with great food!

Friendly waiter on Fri night, cheery evening dinner recommendation of fish lightly grilled, with thin noodles of zucchini, carrots and something else crunchy, sitting on top of sweet potato (?croquettes - literally feels like fine dining here for this dish - was a wonderful combination and taste. This with a bigger appetite can go for their hamburgers n fries. Before ur main dish, they will serve a paper bag which contains a small jar of garlic mayo spread and few pieces of bread, which one of them is foccacia, which has a nice chewy texture - when asked about the presentation of this appetiser, the waiter commented it is like a present to the guests. Smiles!!!!

Heavenly food at good prices, highly recommended!

Jag själv åt ostron till förrätt: helt ok men för söt champagne till.Huvudrätt: LÅNGBAKAD RAPSGRISKARRÉMört kött men något torrt, övriga tillbehör intetsägande.Kunde funnit fler ölsorter att välja mellan.+Mysig miljö, trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Ok priser.Vi beställde 10 rätter, alla fick varm mat samtidigt.-Platser precis vid ingången till toalett.Ingen laktosfri mjölk till kaffet för de som gillar sådant.
