First class Ukrainian place, not cheap for Kiev but you get the foods, the drinks and the experience
MoreAm awesome restaurant for classic Ukrainian food. Good service, right atmosphere, first-class meals, properly selection of dishes well provided and organized. What simply provides to all of it is that every room is done out in a exclusive style of Ukraine! Highly recommended, but it gets awesome busy so make RESERVATIONS! Popular with locals too so days a lot.
MoreWide selection of traditional dishes. Tasty homemade spirits. [11.2021]
The best food I had in Ukraine!Unique Ukrainian traditional style and pleasant atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and they would happily assist you in choosing food. They had the most artistic restrooms I’ve ever seen. Super cute and clean.
MoreWhat a lovely restaurant full of character! Excellent borscht- and everything else we ordered was just well cooked. Really nice, attentive service. Wish we could order everything from the menu.
MoreDelicious food, welcoming ambiance, and very friendly staff!
Everything here is delicious. Solyanka and borsch were perfect on a cold winters night. Theres some creative dishes on the menu, like the duck & blue cheese varenyky, which was heavenly. The chicken Kiev was juicy and tender. The bread bowl with creamy chanterelles was also tasty. Prices are fair and food arrived fast and piping hot. Im looking forward to coming back here already!
MoreFood amazing, people working here super nice and the atmosphere and design is great. And best solianka ever
MoreGreat place with the delicious Ukrainian food and good service. Truly recommend!
Lovely place. Well definitely come back.Excellent service and fresh food.
A good restaurant good food nothing exceptional .. nice interiors. We had a nice time. We ordered chicken Kiev which is very famous there I think but It was not “omg this is the best thing ever” feeling for the price coz it cost like above 200 uah for a just above okayish chicken kiev that’s like available everywhere for less than half of the price 🤷🏻♀️
MoreFood is tasty, the staff speaks English. The singer was terrible!!! I actually thought it was karaoke night, like that bad!
MoreOne of the best local dish experiences we had in Kiev. The staff are super friendly and everything lost in translation is soon forgotten with the amazing meals. Most staff speak fairly good English.
MoreBest Borsh in Ukraine, we were there twiceBoth of the time was Perfect, even my Ukrainian Girlfriend said that she ate lot of Borsh in her life but this is just #1Maybe some gonna say "Damn the price is high" Trust me Dude, the Price definitely worth itBtw side note for non Ukrainian/Russian Speaker: they are going to charge u 2 times if u pay with cardOnce for drinksOnce for foodBecause it separate Branch. Its a Bar and a Restaurant in one placeDid u forget to charge your phone?- not a Problem they have Powerbanks(Apple/Android aswell)
More10 out of 10 waiters had face masks hanging on their chin, not covering nose and mouth. What’s the point of using it then? Food is just ok but far from great. Service is not great either. Wouldn’t come back.
MoreThis was recommended as a good place to try authentic Ukrainian cuisine. There is quite a lot of choice, albeit not that many vegetarian options. The food was fine, and prices are fair but the service was horrible and the restaurant seems seriously understaffed. After waiting almost 40mn to be asked our order (!), when the food arrived, we ordered some more drinks that never arrived. Everything was really slow and unfortunately, it ruined the experience. Only go if you dont mind spending 3 hours in the restaurant and being thirsty.
MoreNot only the food was delicious but the service was impeccable.дуже дякую to the waitress ( i am sorry i forgot to ask your name that spoke a perfect English, it helps for Ukrainian beginners like me, she explained very well all the dishesThe service was faultless so was the food.I was looking for something typically Ukrainian, i am not disappointed at all.If you havent, you need to try borsch, the traditional Ukrainian soup, its to die for.I also had chicken Kyiv 😋😋😋, if I could, i would have had another dish as everything seems to be cook to perfection and well presented.Merci beaucoup and До зустрічі guys
MoreAm excellent restaurant for traditional Ukrainian food. Good service, good atmosphere, nice food, good selection of dishes well presented and prepared. What really adds to it all is that every room is done out in a different style of Ukraine! Highly recommended, but it gets super busy so make RESERVATIONS! popular with locals too so days a lot.
MoreReally nice place with local food. Good prices nice atmosphere.
Tasty local cuisine with an old school ambience and decor. Lovely experience and delicious vareniki
MoreThis place is amazing, food, decor, waitersBut expect to pay a lot ,
Probably the best borscht Ive ever had. This place is going to be on my must-visit list whenever I visit Kyiv.Even though potatoes with shkvarki was a bit off to me (potatoes were baked not fried), the borscht made me fell in love with the place.
MoreRestaurant’s decoration is wonderful. There are many drinks in the bar. But the prices are very expensive. I have eaten borch soup and fish. It costs almost 730 grivna
MoreREALLY DISAPPOINTING!Ive made a reservation (wedding anniversarybut when I arrived, my name was not in the list. I was lucky to have the email of the reservation to show to the person in charge. But OK, not a big issue. I would like to try some local dishes.Ive ordered "Turkey stuffed with cheese...". The answer was "we dont have it tonight".- So bring me your ribs. Answer: "we dont have it anymore".- What about lamb legs cooked? The answer: "WE DONT HAVE IT TONIGHT".So I gave up and ordered a simple veal tenderloin, my wife got a sea bass fish. The result: my meat was cold, really cold and it was just three little pieces of meat.Additionally, they charge some dishes considering the weight, so PAY attention on it or your bill be as big as mine.Considering the evaluations on Google I was expecting a very nice dinner, but it was very bad. I had to go to McDonalds after that to avoid go to bed still hungry.
MoreGreat interior and presentation of the food, decent bathrooms with high-tech appliances. Really wanted to love this place as it does many things right, but ultimately couldnt as while the taste was good it wasnt exceptional, and it was the most expensive restaurant I visited during my time in Kiev with rather small portions
MoreGreat place to enjoy the Ukrainian traditional food. Waiter was super professional and we felt very welcome there.
MoreVery nice restaurant! Loved the interior, the food and the service! Everything was excellent💯
MoreA local friend recommended this place for authentic Ukrainian cousins. Before we go there i asked to take us to place that reminds her of her grandmas food. And she recommended Pervak! She took care of the orders. I have to tell you this, i didnt expect the food to be this delicious and unique. We got all the traditional plates; soup, appetizers, and main course and drinks included the smoked dry fruits juice!!! 😋 highly recommended
MoreIt’s the one of the best I have visited in KievFood is very deliciousAtmosphere is amazing coz u feel u r in old village in UkraineI would like to mention about waitress. NadiahShe is very polite and helpful
MoreWe loved it! I recommend this place to anyone looking to experience local cuisine. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Do not think twice, you will not be disappointed. All cocktails we tried were delicious as well.
MoreFood and atmosphere are good. You can find local cousine served in delicious and traditional way. Basically in strict city Centre, also close to metro. All good 👍
MoreIt was the best food experience in Kyiv, welcoming staff and excellent meals. Very lovely atmosphere, awesome design, reasonable prices. If you want to eat at one restaurant in the city, I highly recommend to choose this one. <3
MoreDelicious food, very friendly service and so Ukrainian! The decor is very quirky. Some tables have beer pumps. Sit at the bar on horseback!Delicious salo on rye with pickles and horseradish horilka was served as soon as we sat down.Amazingly delicious menu!Very highly recommended!
MoreWhat impressed:Food: an extensive choice of traditional Ukrainian dishes including hot and cold starters, delectable main courses, and tempting puddings. Old favourites are present: borscht, varenyky (dumplings with savoury or sweet fillings - look out for delicious seasonal strawberry or cherry options), pickled herring, plentiful potato and meat courses. Good choice of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Most importantly, food is tasty and expertly prepared.Decor: Ukrainian theme throughout. There are several interconnecting dining rooms and an outdoor seating area, all featuring elements of Ukrainian history, culture and tradition. Staff uniform comprises of colourful national costumes.Atmosphere: relaxed, informal, friendly. As with all popular eateries, can become a little noisy in the evening when at full capacity. What did not impress:Customer service: variable. Although staff are courteous and helpful in most cases, some waiters were arguing with each other and swearing within an earshot of customers. When staff numbers are low, waiting for dishes and the bill can be longer than 15 minutes.During one of my visits while enjoying a plate of varenyky I discovered a chip of broken plate in my dish and alerted the waitress. Surprisingly her response was: would you like a discount on your bill? Well, no, I would like an apology and assurance that measures will be taken to ensure that customers do not end up with pieces of broken glass in their mouths in the future. The incident was simply ignored without an apology from anyone (or a discount). Further staff training to deal with such situations would be useful, although most of the time waiters and waitresses are friendly and welcoming and doing a good job,
MoreAwesome food & drinks. Highly recommended. The lamb was one of the best I have ever eaten anywhere in the world so far in my life. And Ive been to places. Thank you for a wonderful very special meal in Kyiv.
MoreReally great experience - food tasty, service really nice but a must see are the toilets - both man and woman. This is really unique and an unforgettable experience.
MoreGreat service, delicious food, super nice atmosphere. If you would like to have some traditional Ukrainian dish in a nice setting this place is highly recommended.
MoreI was delighted to eat some fantastic Ukrainian dishes in this restaurant. Interior was fabulous, service excellent and prices much cheaper than I would expect. I believe its one of the best places to eat in Kiev. Highly recommend!
MorePervak! Wow! Great food! Really looked forward to trying this restaurant out and I am glad I did.....We are not going to come back on this trip to celebrate a birthday and did not recommend our friends to come here either.Having great food should not come at a price of terrible service. We did not get 2-3 items that we ordered (understandable because the waitress was the only one serving the entire restaurant it seemed). So, you finish your meal and want to pay. You get the check, no problem. You want to pay with a credit card? Oh, so you will have to wait until Pripyat is habitable again (no really, it took 40 minutes to get the credit card machine to the table to pay for our meal).Look at the pictures of the food and the food is really as great as it looks, but I have plenty of options to choose that will bring my food to the table faster and let me pay so I can be on my way exploring the rest of beautiful Kiev.
MoreVery tasty, the best service I think in Kyiv, nice atmosphere with live music between 2000-2200 usually. You can ask to play almost any song for couple of dollars. It takes some time until they bring you dishes, but it worth it. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, it is better to reserve the tables ahead.
MoreThe food, atmosphere and service was all fantastic. As a tourist and first time visitor to the Ukraine I was very interested to try the local traditional food, and culture. Pervak has this in heaps.I recommend the borscht, its gorgeous!
MorePlace is decorated to be traditional Ukranian farm, very rustic. Even the employees are wearing some traditional clothes. Food was delicious, my waiter was very attentive and made excellent suggestions. Price was right and affordable. I reccomend the bar area or the area behind the bar. Sit on the horses!
MoreTraditional Ukraine restaurant. You must order peelmini! Good music. I loved the decoration, super traditional and beautiful. Most go to when you in kiyv.
MoreWow wow wowExcellent food, especially the duck! The potato pancakes were ok, the soup was nice (borscht), the pelmini (we took sheep cheese with mint and rabbitwas excellent!
MoreGreat place. Very attentive and kind waitress. The food was good, their home made brews were nice. Top place in Kiev for local cuisine.
MoreThe best dining in Kiev. This restaurant simply left me speechless. The waiters are very professional and welcoming. The service is indescribably wonderful . The waiter knows the menu perfectly and can recommend any meal or a side to anything. Our waiter was Anatoli and he is definitely one of a kind; hats off to him. He at least deserves a raise. The food was amazing in all aspects. The presentation is unique all of the plates,cups... are in ukranian styling and shape. The food looks better than in picture. Also, when I ordered a kotleta po kievski it was given with a paper origami attached to its end.Second, the taste of the food. The food tasted fresh, the meat was juicy, the portions were big, and there were two complimentary condiments and a resturant specific vodka with horseradish. I would also recommend the borscht because it it is the best.Last but not least, all of this comes with a surprise. The prices are laughably low for such and amount of food. A full lunch for 4 with appetizers, soup, main dishes, and beverages only costed roughly 50$ in total.
MoreOne of the best meals in Kiev, and a great representation of Ukrainian food. The dishes are all quite finely made, and with subtle flavoring. Everything is made to a high standard, and with class. The borscht was excellent, as were the rabbit dumplings. The service is also terrific - very attentive and professional. Its not the cheapest place, but its worth it. Would definitely visit again to work through more of the menu.
MoreJust awesome food.Tons of choices, great staff. Highly recommend if you want to experience traditional Ukrainian kitchen in a city environment.
MoreFantastic restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. We had mixed dumplings, the duck salad, cold herring, rolled salmon, rabbit in mushroom sauce and the crusty pear. Everything was perfectly prepared and presented. The wine selection from Georgia and Ukraine was equally perfect. The staff is speaks good English and is very helpful. nice though slightly extravagant
MoreVery good restaurant. Tasty Ukrainian dishes and great live music. At begining we got 2 shots and bread for free. I love Pervak and visit it everytime when Im in Kiev. Regards from Germany
