If you are taking long trips, i.e. Rusizi - Kigali or Rusizi- Rubavu, make sure to leave plenty of time ahead because the travel time can be way longer than what google maps says or the bus people. I did Rusizi-Rubavu and they had said 5h30mins, but we ended up doing 7 hours and a few because the “express” bus literally stopped at every single stop on the way. So yeah, leave plenty of time. I would say, give it a full daylight time and go rest 😁

Rusizi main bus parking with a lot of disorders in the all activities. You find bus heading in different places of rusizi and nyamasheke but all those buses arent departure regularly.The restrooms arent not good, I mean it has a poor hygiene and accessibility require money, 100 Rw Franc.This is a main departure to kigali, huye, kibuye and rubavu. Only one bus heading to rubavu. That pass through kivu belt road.The buses heading to kigali work for 24 hrs. For every hour or less.
