We visited this village prior to leaving for 2 week safari. This was a wonderful experience. We learned so much about the village and the culture. The women prepared an amazing meal for us and they sang and danced. We also swam in their hot spring blue lagoon. It was so much fun!!

MoreIf you want to have a great cultural visit supporting a community and above all learning from it, I highly recommend doing some of the Rundugai Cultural Tourism tours. With my husband, whenever we travel, we seek to have authentic experiences and live with people. This is why we visited the village of Rundugai with Ndoss and Magdalena, incredible guides with an excellent level of English but above all human warmth. With them we visited the midwife of the village and they helped us transmit our queries to Susana. It was very interesting to learn about her job and how she has helped thousands of women get pregnant with traditional medicine and give birth. We also visited Paulina, the village herbalist who also treats many diseases like diabetes or cancer with tree roots and bark. Then we went to learn how the women in Rundugai do the weaving with the Doum Palm and the different products like carpets and baskets they do.After a delicious local lunch we head to the cherry of the day, the Kikuletwa Hotsprings.A paradise close to the village. Crystal clear waters and hundreds of fish was a total enjoyment relaxing in its warm water to end the day. Highly recommended!
