Enduring 19th-century cultural venue with concert halls, art gallery and exhibition spaces.
Phenomenal acoustics in the main concert hall.
My first time attending for a concert, the first of the season for the Czech Republics philharmonic orchestra.... Beethoven and Richard Strauss. The second piece was dark and stormy and the acoustics in the auditorium were fantastic. Like stepping back in time, the surroundings were incredibly ornate and royal looking, with modern lighting.Well worth a visit when in Prague.... Really brings to life this amazing City, with the additional pomp and musicianship of a World Class full orchestra!
One of the most beautiful buildings that Prague has to offerCurrently the home of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra
very good quality of exhibitions, great space and building itself, I am really happy to have such a gallery space in Prague. and on top of it, its for free since 2020? Since the Krištof Kintera: Nervous Trees - Galerie Rudolfinum
Ghoulish was great! It was served with potato pancakes and dumplings. Even though we did not have a reservation, we were seated immediately and the service was very good. Great place for traditional food in Prague.
Went here for the VOID exhibtion cool exhibit. The staff was kind and the entrance was free. beautiful building would come again.
Briefly stopped in to the listening room to get away from the heat and the hustle and bustle. Very enjoyable.
The history, acoustics, the talent that usually performs here is top notch. An institution not to be missed.
Nice place and magnificent view.
As a performance hall, this place is unparalleled! Thats great.
Veery nice place, whether you are visiting the gallery or some other cultural event
Very nice and beautiful place. Went to orchestra concert there and i was pleased with performance and interior. The only negative thing was lack of air conditioning, other than that sound was crisp and vibes good.PS: I will have to come back here to experience something different. Art exhibition or something.
Very impressive building next to the river.
Serendipity. Last concert of the season and my first free evening in Prague. Easy to purchase tickets and kind people to get you to your seat. Great acoustics, lovely interior and the seats were comfortable.
Amazing place for concerts!Awesome interior and management.
Beautiful place for classical music concerts 😍
Beautiful concert hall with great concerts
One of the best must visit places in Prague.
Rudolfinum is a wonderful venue for a musical concert. Beautiful architecture. Sound is wonderful.
House of European standing.Remarkable architecture.Quality of the seats on the ground floor: quite good.+ plenty of legroom+ Floor modernized so that it is trip-free
Historical beautiful place, amazing concerts ❤️
Fantastic venue , superb acoustics and excellent piano recital by Tomas Kaco today
Amazing night watching the Czech Philharmonic perform the Velvet Revolution concert. Such a beautiful building. Historical.
Went to see a concert hosted in the Dvorak hall. It was a beautiful room! Lots of "gold". Sound is really good.As for the building, they ask for tests or vaccination to enter, and you must wear your mask on during the performance. There is coat service available, with two lovely adult women taking care of it.There is a bar on both sides of the hall to have a drink and/or bite (toasts/open sandwiches), but no idea of the prices.Programmes are around 30 CK.
Just WOWDERFUL! One of the best tourist attractions we must have snapshot with 😊📸 Every corners at this place were photogenic
One of my favorite places in Prague. Nice cafe on the first floor with amazing service. I got a personal tour from artist Dan Pitin. There are always cool event and good music.
Wonderful concert hall, very well decorated and with great acoustics.
Amazing place. 125 years of music history. If you are in Prague and a classical music lover definitely attend a concert. I attended the concert of Leonidas Kavakos who played Ludwig van Beethoven in Dvorak hall.
The home of the Czech Philharmonic does not disappoint. This is a wonderful place to hear music and feel the weight of history all around you. Prague has many times been considered the cultural capital of Europe and being in this grand concert venue makes it easy to see why that is the case. The acoustics are second to none and the layout of the venue means there isn’t a bad seat in the house. We were fortunate enough to see an amazing performance of an all Beethoven program and it was one of the more memorable experiences of our two week trip through central and Eastern Europe. I do recommend the balcony seating, row 1 middle if you can grab it. Also, if you’re traveling from the states like we were do note that the people tend to get pretty dressed up for the performance. Plenty of people in black tie and suits. We were traveling light so I wore slacks and a nice sweater which was fine and perfectly acceptable. But I was very much in the minority.
Free entry. There is currently an ongoing exhibit by an artist. Enjoyed the exhibition. It probably will take you less than an hour to walk through the entire exhibition as its quite small. But overall worth going!
We went to see a chamber music concert here, a talented quintet from the philharmonic orchestra. Intimate performance and beautiful acoustics. We opted for this due to cost and availability (compared to the main concert hallbut were not disappointed! Note, 50% for students too.
Beautiful building with some of the best concerts in town! The lady in the gift shop gave us complementary tickets ..50% discount to one of our shows! Love you Prague!!
They do very often exhibitions. Sponsored by Avast so entry is free. Worth visit cause buiding itself is nice!
I love Rudolfinum not only for all the amazing concert, but also for incredible views, its place in the Czech nations history and for the fact, that Czech people go to concerts smartly dressed. A touch of the days gone by.... going to Caffe not a good idea though, the only superb thing there is the period furniture, dont go for a culinary or service experience!
Was lucky enough to be in Praze while the European Union Youth Orchestra was in town. Booked tickets last minute, very reasonable price as well, and was greeted with a beautiful concert hall!Music was incredible, the venue didnt detract or distract from what was in front of me but only added to the entire experience. There are a few large columns to dodge if you sit in the last 3/4 rows but the sound travels all over perfectly and I would happily go again (perhaps wait and see if there are empty seats).Plenty of good access for all patrons, wheelchairs included and just a great place for a concert! 🎷
Everyone should see this beautiful building in a neo-Renaissance style called Rudolfinum. The headquarters of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra Rudolfinum.
Saw a very interesting collection called “A Cool Breeze” in this free gallery which was pretty empty even on an extremely busy day for the city otherwise. Recommend stopping by, you have little to lose
This is no doubt the most majestic concert hall youll find in Prague and its sound quality is without peer. Its an exhilarating experience. If you have a chance to at least see it from outside, do it!
Superb shows, got a behind the scenes tour of the roof. They keep beehives on the roof, apparently a Czech tradition for public buildings!
One of the greatest concert halls in the world, the Dvoraks Hall at the Rudolfinum palace. Hear worlds greatest classical music performers here; I attended all the 5 concerts by one of the greatest clarinetists of our time, Sharon Kam accompanied by Czech & international musicians, all world class virtuosos, as part of the Dvoraks Prague Festival. Worth every Crown, Dollar, Euro & you can buy tix on Internet using these currencies, just make sure doing it well ahead the concert as demand is high. Will go back frequently.
Rudolfinum is a century old concert hall. Situated near the Vltava river . the architecture of the building and the art of the grand hall inside and outside are awesome . It has a century old grand piano and world famous Czech musicians played there.I have an ophthalmology seminar there and I am honored to present my case report in the Grand hall in front of world known ophthalmologists .The staffs are very nice.Whoever is visiting Prague , must visit Rudolfinum.
Lots of concerts all year around. Classic atmosphere. Usually at a reasonable price.
A great experience to have when in Praha ! Tourist friendly, no dress code ! Must visit !
One of the most interesting buildings to visit in Prague especially if you can attend a concert. We visited for a concert by the Film Filarmonic which was fantastic and the main hall had great acoustics and viewing capabilities. They have a lot of conserts and activities for kids as well.
Really interesting contemporary art space and lovely traditional building and café. It should have better signage though. Very quiet.
Beautiful concert hall. A small and large hall depending on the night and concert. They also have a free art exhibit, a rotating art exhibit, and cafe!
What do you say about concert hall? Sounds nice. 😀 And the Czech symphonic orchestra is just epic. But the presentation of Signal was lame and cheap. ☹️
Went here to watch the Czech Philharmonic who were fantastic. The building is beautifully decorated inside. Well worth a visit.
This is a beautiful building both externally and internally. For me it is reminiscent of the Paris Opera and in some ways performs the same function, although it also provides additional facilities including ball rooms, etc.For visitors though, the grandeur of the architecture is the main attraction with the well laid out garden in front and its columns capped with two of the muses.
Amazing concert hall. The acoustic is superb, the seats are very comfortable, and there are great views from almost every seat (except behind the columns and some of the corner seats). The building is beautiful, the staff very friendly, and there is a nice small selection of snacks and beverages (cash only). The cloak room is very efficient (and it is mandatory to leave your coat).Overall, an amazing experience!
