Ruby Jean's Kitchen & Juicery in Kansas City

Finally had a chance to try this place out after a friend mentioned it, on top of a post I saw of the Keto salmon wrap yesterday. Def knew I needed it in my life asap. Omggg so 🔥 🔥🔥. I planned on eating it at my destination and inhaled that amazing goodness in the parking lot 😂 the ladies in front were genuinely helpful and nice. Didn’t even need the pico, will save it for later tho!

Today I came in and was welcomed with such love and graciousness. I ate the sweet potato bowl and went home and had the best nap of my life! I definitely will be back! The juices are incredible.

It was alright. The food was great, smootie was mediocre. The menu prices on the website do not reflect the prices in restaurant, so it was way more expensive than I anticipated and because of that I probably wont go back.

Greatly greeted upon entry, cool, fresh, atmosphere. Great music playlist.Berry Strong protein shake was very fruity, smooth, cold, and enjoyed greatly. So fast I didnt take a photo.Truly turkey hot, fresh sandwich with Brussels was epic. Tasty, flavorful, filling, great texture, well thought. One of the best Ive eaten.

At first the prices seemed a bit high, bur I ordered anyway because I did not want to go anywhere else. I ordered the tuna sandwich, I was extremely impressed, very delicious and healthy.

I thought Id be waiting for awhile when walking into Ruby Jeans this morning, just because it was a bit crowded, but I was wrong! The young Brother working today was super efficient with taking orders, and completing them! I was impressed by his demeanor, and his amazing customer service! This place has amazing atmosphere and very clean. The Southwest breakfast bowl and coconut protein ball was so delicious! I would HIGHLY Recommend this place.

Absolutely delicious! I got a smoothie that reminded me of pink lemonade in the most refreshing. Their PB&J protein ball was delicious too. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu.

Everything Ive gotten from them has been amazing. I came here after a friends movement and meditation class. The smoothie, and breakfast was delicious. I just wish it was closer to me so I could come more often. Looking forward to the next time I come in.

I have been going to Ruby Jeans for a few years. Anytime I want a healthy fulfilling meal/or shake I leave satisfied. I’m impressed with the growth of this business and how it’s bringing life to once a dark area of the city! If I was you I would try the Keto salmon salad or the soul food meal OMG🥰. I visited Ruby Jean’s Juicery and found the restaurant to be impeccably clean, the service was phenomenal. I ordered the Vegan Tacos and they were absolutely delicious. I look forward to returning again soon….

Im officially addicted to the juice. So much so that I got my own juice and produce 😭 its not the same! The food is also good! I love the vegan and vegetarian options; creatively tasty.

I want y’all to start serving some organic juices; especially at Whole Foods. When you juice conventionally grown produce, you juice a lot more toxins and we don’t want that. I want to support black-owned business, but my health won’t let me. Please help!!!

My second time here. I enjoy the whey ape but I just waited over 45 minutes for a juice because shakes and smoothies are a priority over juices. I’ve seen multiple people come in after me and leave before me with food and multiple shakes. Please prioritize orders by when they are placed not by what is on the ticket

I love this place. I usually get the cauliflower rice with blackened salmon or chicken. By far the best cauliflower rice I have had, and I have tried a lot on my Keto journey. Most of the juices are not keto friendly, and I have noticed they put things like pineapple in some things marked Keto, so I just look at the ingredients before I order. The people there are also very friendly.

I love Ruby Jeans. It is refreshing and delicious. Be prepared for a wait, this is not fast food. My favorites are the Good Vibes Only juice, Blackened Salmon Sandwich, and Brussels Sprout Nachos.

So appreciative of Ruby Jeans menu & their concept! None of their drinks or products are laden with refined sugar, instead they use natural sweeteners like fruit and agave. I also cant do dairy, so its so refreshing to have a menu full of so many yummy options! Not only that - but their products are really tasty & the place is very cute! I particularly love their smoothies & am excited to try more flavors.

A must go and try if you havent. Excellent service and friendly staff very relaxed and clean establishment. I tried a few things from the menu and I was very pleased with them all. The cold Press juice is my favorite cant wait to try them all. Hope they will be bringing a location more closer to the west side of Kck but definitely worth the drive till then.

It was ok. I got the chief smoothie and protein munchkin that was good. The smoothie was average nothing spectacular. I should have gotten food. Its black owned so support.

Amazing customer service this was my first visit and they helped me navigate the menu. Was looking for a salad for my mother and landed on the soul food bowl. Soul food that doesnt kill you. This place is amazing.

Im having the Veg Out. Its awesome. Slightly sweet, earthy, and light.It has been too long since I was here, but its gotten EVEN BETTER. I forgot to take a picture before I starting drinking cuz it was so good, but I had the 24 Carrot blend. Holy cow, slightly sweet also, but so much flavor and I cant like if had an energy drink.The ambience is so warm and inviting with tons of plants and amazing artwork. I could have sat here for 2 more hours and the price is worth every penny.

Who puts ice in juice? As a first timer I wish I would have been aware this is how it would come. Red flag for those who typically juice. Customer service was so so. Meaning I asked questions about juices and was given vague responses and pointed to menu options as opposed to having genuine engagement. Im here on business. I guess I had high hopes when I saw that it may be black owned. Fair prices. Amazing artwork and plant life inside.For the owner to have responded to this review stating ice is optional after I stated I was a first timer and was not made aware goes to show how so so this experience was. Attention to detail so so important if I was made aware I woud have declined 🤦🏿

ONE WORD YUM!! While vacationing from VA, this KC heat was a killer. I wanted something light but refreshing. I saw Ruby Jeans on the black restaurant week list and decided to try it out. It definitely did not disappoint. My boyfriend who is a fitness trainer enjoyed it as well. Both the Butter Crunch and No Crust PBJ smoothies were amazing. We ordered the vegan Nachos to go as well. The "cheese" actually tasted like real dairy cheese amazing.

Delicious healthy vegan food, great presentation, great customer service, black owned business , sweet potato oatmeal dish was delicious and had great presentation, açaí bowl was beautifully presented and delicious, salmon sliders was also delicious and presented well . I love the creative dishes this restaurants presents

The cherry-o shake was phenomenal! Smile bowl oats had great flavor and were prepared well the brûlée (?banana was creative. Clean, airy funky space. Friendly service.

Healthy food that tastes REALLY good. Love their smoothies, juices and entrees. My all-time favorite is the Protein Builder Bowl with the cauliflower quinoa mixture, salmon and green goddess dressing.Very friendly staff and the business has a strong commitment to helping Troost neighborhood and underserved communities get access to healthy food so theyre worth supporting with your dollar.

Awesome place for healthy food and drinks. Plenty of room inside, and the tables have plugs for your devices. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the ambience is through the roof! So if you are new to KC, or just passing by, you have got to check it out. Its an easy jump off and on the interstate. If you are coming north on Troost, you wont be able to miss the mural on the side. The locals know!

This was my first time here, and I loved it. The atmosphere seems awesome for a Meetup for business or with friends. The cashier helped me pick out juices Id like (and that would help me fight my cold), and they were delicious! Only downside is that a lot of their smoothies had almond milk/coconut milk options in them and I recently discovered Im allergic to Almond milk and dont care for coconut. So I stuck with the juices only, and they did not disappoint! The food menu looked delicious as well and I cant wait to go back to try more.

Ah I do quite enjoy this place. So many juice🥤 choices. And vegan food!!! Omg that is so exciting. Really enjoy it. Only good things. Love the layout and the huge wood table. It has power chargers under the desk, it’s amazing!
