Cocktails & casual eats, plus live music & DJs, in an urbane venue with an outdoor terrace.
This place really cool and the fact you guys have a ddr machine makes my experience even better.
we stopped in for a quick visit. it is worth the trip just to see the inside of this place. my kiddo played a few games , i tried a cocktail, everything was nice. nothing bad to report
I always have a good time here. The crowd is chill and you can enter The Mad Hatter via Rubiks. The servers are nice and I like the arcade games they have.
I love to go here, the food is good, I recommend the loaded fries, the staff is nice, specially the ladies always Welcome with a smile, The music is really good. I got 2 times at least per month to relax and have a good time.
Not what I expected. It looks nice on the inside. Expects to wait 15 mins + for even be acknowledged if you are wanting to order food. It looks like they maybe need more staff just for serving but I like the west side location is better.
This was my first time going and I enjoyed myself. Took part in a Mario Kart tournament and a connect four tournament. There were plenty of cool games to play as well as a cool retro game section.
Great music, awesome energy and vibes. This spot is chill and laid back. There are a variety of things to do...you can play games, dance, sit at the bar, eat good food. Its a great place to come single or as a couple.
Was there this past Sunday and my kids had a blast! The nachos are amazing! Coming back soon
What a fantastic place! Unknowingly arrived on Trivia Night and it was a blast! Thank you for all the fun!!! Id go here all the time if I lived in Texas!
We went to El Paso to visit family and stopped at Rubiks. We had a blast with our cousins!! Karaoke was a blast. Would recommend for sure. The only thing I would of liked is to be able to get drinks quicker. There is only one bar area and you will have to wait a while to get drinks.
Music was lame and we had to wait so long to get a menu for food. Drinks and the bartender we had was fabulous. Seating is limited you basically had to steal a chair from under someone to sit. But bruh it took them 2hrs to get me my food ( i ordered chicken fingers). We came there for food and drinks. My friend ordered us the loaded fries with brisket,no where on the menu did it mention it was spicy and well and we got sick the next day too. Also security needs to do a better job at checking peoples persons because the stuff I seen made me wanna say forget the food and leave.
So the drinks are about average priced, but they do have some neat special drinks to try. The games all work for the most part ND seem to be maintained. If a game doesnt work though they do reimburse your tokens. The food is good but of course overpriced in my opinion for a barcade. The pinball machines are super fun though if youre into that. They have some good games to play with your dates as well.
It is a good bar. This was my first time there and I really like the display, it was very busy which is a good sign and everyone in there was having a good time.
Very interesting place to go back to 80s/90s, drinks are good and accessible. They have arcade machines and karaoke, the decorations are just awesome. This place took me back to my adolescence. They have karaoke nights and its pretty fun.
Fun place. Machines were a little pricey. Karaoke night was lots of fun. Beer prices were very reasonable. The appetizers were delicious.
Overall Great experience! Shame some games happend to be out of order ( the terminator game and the claw wasnt closing at all to attempt to grab a price)& the simpsons game didnt allow us to play co op but still had an amazing time. Best machine has to be marvel vs capcom 2! If you dont want to struggle getting a parking space plan on arriving on early. Had the tron drink and it was good. Cant wait to see what the new east side location.
It was a cool experience. It’s adults only after 9pm. It’s like a adult Chucky Cheese/DB with less games and a dance floor. Has a lot of games from the 90s. They have a bunch of signature cocktails and drinks. Fun chill place to be a kid again but the adult version.
I love this place!! Friendly atmosphere and very attentive staff❤️ Love yall! Nichole and Jenny truly show they care about their work ethic and care about their customers🥺 all the bartenders there were so cool to me. Definitely will comeback ❤️
Honestly one of the best spots here in El Paso,Tx. I love coming to Rubiks for years and the bartender have never failed to make it so much more entertaining. Food and drink are on point. And of course you cant forget the games they are the entertainment for hrs. Well planned bar if you ask me.
The Nostalgia of days of old. This place is so much fun. Did not see one game out of order. Had a great time
Lots of Pinball Machines, as well as pong, galaga, ms. pacman, and dont forget adult beverages. There is always a mario lart challenge to defend. Visit London and the rest of the staff. All ages having fun.
Do not go here for trivia nights. They are so poorly organized! What was supposed to start at 9 started past 11, there was not adequate seating, the poor bartenders were so understaffed (they killed it and were so friendly,!), we finally got so annoyed at the long wait time for it to start that we left. Definitely not worth the time, money, or patience wasted.
We had the absolute BEST experience celebrating our daughter’s 5th birthday at Rubiks. The staff went above and beyond to make the party special for our daughter and provide a fun and family oriented experience for everyone. Our daughter’s friend left saying, “this was the best day ever,” and we completely agree. We spent the party eating delicious pizza, playing games on the dance floor, and playing arcade games. We can’t wait to go back!
Great arcade with good service drinks are pretty good but the food is not worth it, pizza didn’t taste good and the wings were very dry not a good place to order food but great place to have a drink and play!
Cool place, great entertainment, but the DJ got a bit carried away. If you have to yell to talk to someone next to you, the music is too loud. Everyone can still dance and have a great time at slightly lower volume.
Rubiks was awesome! If you are an 80s/90s baby, this place is for you! The staff was very fast and helpful, the atmosphere was great, filled with a lot of arcade and modern games, and the pizza was really good. Bring cash if you are looking to play games, as they only take cash for game tokens, but they do have an ATM on site. Overall, I recommend spending some time here!
Its a nice place, lots of machines but if youre part of the lgbtq+ community you wont feel welcomed. The owner spends time at the bar and me and my girlfriend have gotten nasty looks from him specifically. Also when asking if there will be pride events for June there was no response and a laughing reaction. Its just not worth spending my money at a place that isnt welcoming.
You get a lot of tokens for a great price and I love how delicious the drinks are and how sweet they are for having achol is amazing. There are also a lot of great photo opportunities all over the place. Also it is connected to mad hatter so you dont have to get carded twice
Hands down the coolest place ever IMO. Celebrated my birthday there and it was karaoke night. Nostalgic, well put together and superb staff!
Love this place I was not sure how the pizza would be in a bar but it was awesome. Love the games and the vibe. Kid friendly during the day as well. My son loved it. Will be coming back soon. Very unique place in El Paso.
I love this place only thing is recently I ordered a pizza and found a cockroach leg. I don’t understand how that’s even possible but if you’d please be careful about allowing such things to happen. I really love the pizza from there I would hate to stop ordering it out of paranoia that I’ll find something gross in my order. Aside that I enjoy the atmosphere and love how the Mad Hatter is a neighbor bar. I always go back and forth just enjoying both places.
Super fun everytime we go, cool decor, great games, and super fun and creative drinks. Always have a good time here.
Great place for family fun...kids had fun and the food was surprisingly good...I figured it being a bar, the pizza would be like cardboard but it was really good. The nachos were pretty damn good too.
We were on vacation from Illinois celebrating a birthday, this place had a nice vibe, games were nice played darts for first time. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Overall great time.
Great place. Clean, awesome games and great staff. The staff is very nice and attentive. Great game selection with new and old retro games. Awesome place to bring the family during the day or awesome to clean for the night life. And now they are adding pizza!!!
Loved this arcade bar. Tons of classic and modern games. Highly recommend checking this place out. It was pretty slow during the week but the weekends are supposed to be hopping.
Fun arcade bar with great atmosphere thats well themed, decorated, and includes some of the most popular arcade and pinball machines from the 80s and 90s. Rubiks has a very nice bar area with plenty of liquor and beer options at good prices along with a kitchen and decent sized food menu in the back of the bar. The arcade games are a little over priced in my opinion and some of them could use a little work but its a fun experience, especially if you like pinball machines. The atmosphere definitely gives you the 80s Arcade room vibe. The bartenders and staff were friendly and attentive as well. I look forward to coming back when I have more time.
This place is fun, everything from the ‘80s & ‘90s nostalgic decor, all the arcade games, pinball, air hockey, darts and pool. The bathrooms are clean, the bartenders are nice, and the karaoke is super fun! They have different things going on depending on what he say of the week. Check out their Instagram or Facebook to see exactly what. They do have drink specials, and they also have a kitchen serving yummy food if you get hungry. The weekends are usually packed and they check ID but during the day you see children and adults of all ages. The Mad Hatter bar is right next door and it’s also a very cool bar. This place is just fun, fun for kids during the day and fun for adults at night! Beware though, parking can be a nightmare on the weekends!
This place has great potential. The atmosphere is nostalgic. The arcade games and pinball can really take you back to your childhood. The food was not the best and the lighting didnt really help. Its hard to get the bartender to notice you as they walk around the bar. We had to keep moving so we could get her attention.
Truly a gamers chill spot. The inside of this place is filled with wondrous arcade machines, both old and new. It might be a little cramped for a group of four amigos, but thats alright.Youll definitely hear some good tunes when you get in there, from old school rap to the modern electronic genre. The bartenders are very welcoming; soon as you enter the doorway, they greet you positively. Drinks are pretty good for a good time. The food I rate (personallya 5/10, no hate but just not all that great. But it is an awesome place to bring your significant other or go hangout with the boys on the weekend.
Didnt stay too long this time, but I had fun playing games with my friends. They got some pretty tasty drinks while we were here (Tron= blue Curacao and coconut rum).
This is an awesome spot! First time here and I brought my family out since they were in town!!! No one had seen a bar like this before kuddos to y’all! I think her name Nichole was our bartender and she was awesome and very quick! I had also noticed a group being rude to her and the other bartenders and she still had a smile on her face. I will most definitely be returning! Great prices on the games also..
Amazing spot. So much fun! I’m not a video game type of person but love the games. I could be here all day! Drinks are very good & I recommend the mango 🥭 Moscow Mules! Nachos were bomb. Dance floor lights up! Lighting and music is perfect ❤️🙌💯 Backroom is for more of a social gathering with lower music volume. Lots of parking. Mondays are very chill. Hot guys and girls chilling around the bar area. Bartender is great and very attentive.
Always a blast even better with their specials like on Thursdays for example but overall the food is a great thing to share especially if you might have eaten out already or might go out to eat after. The games are awesome. Sometimes you might find one or two a bit wonky but they honestly do their best to repair or change em up if they arent working. A fun experience for sure. I recommend passing by if youre in town. Remember to have cash on you so you can get tokens. $20 for a group of 3 is not too bad at all even better for 2. If you drink a lot you might want to ask if they have any specials on drinks. Once you start drinking you kinda dont wanna stop because the bartenders mix the drinks really well. For maybe 3 drinks and like a shareable could come out to almost $40 so if you want to be prepared now you know. The music is louder in the evening but afternoonish is not bad at all. You can explore the amazing artwork around its being changed often as well. Karaoke 🎤 is a blast I recommend it if they have it going on the earlier you get there for it the better. To get service, best option is to go to bar and then sit after if you need a table. To can have an opened tab or just pay as you go.
Loved this place! What a nostalgic feel good place! It was my first time there. I went for the games.... And stayed for..... THE GAMES. :Staff was friendly, dj was funny and I will be bringing my A game for Mario Kart Monday Marathon!
Nice clean, well run place. Drinks are rather pricey though. $40 for 3 double shot drinks. Overall great atmosphere though.
Absolutely amazing experience here tonight! We will definitely be back. The food was phonomenal! The DJ had the perfect mix for the venue. And the staff was very friendly. Definitely the most fun Ive had in a long time!
80s! All the great throwback games. The Mortal Kombat series, Ninja turtle, NBA jam and more. Quarter play at 50cents a game. To compare one other I been would be that the theme and game selection is legit, but the other seems more successful by having more food options and beer selection which resulted with free play and or cheeper play. Overall Rubiks is a legit place to play old arcade and pinball games.
If you enjoy pinball tables, retro v arcade game machines, 80s music, and adult beverages, youre in luck. Youll want to drop in here to satisfy your gaming urges while enjoying a beer or cocktail. Live DJ spinning the classic hits on the weekends which is far more entertaining than the bias playlist from the Hope and Anchor manager across the street. Heads up, this is not a sports bar so if you wanted to watch a game and order some wings, youll need to go elsewhere. Tight parking lot fills up fast on weekends nights. Service is friendly but tends to be slow on busy nights.
Great for playing l arcades and having a drink. Most games are a quarter. No food served here. Fun atmosphere!
