Royal Malabar Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Ad Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Very bad experience; I ordered beef roast and it was stiff like wood; I seriously doubt that they served me reheated food.
Air conditioning was chilling, called and informed the incharge person that due to chilling water was dripping on table and plates but after informing there was no action on customer request, which was very bad feeling.Waiter served invoice and found that faluda was not served yet, I dont understand how they managed this restaurant with such waiters.
Usually a nice place to have food at reasonable price, but unfortunately our last experience with a soup to start with and mixed fried rice with a side dish during lunch on 22 Sep, 2022 was not up to the mark. The taste was not good and the team also not responsive enough. We will wait for a longer time to forget the experience and revisit this place.
Tried Thaali here, delicious food with sabji fish and more.Paysum is awesome.
It is a very good Indian restaurant located in Dammam @kSA . Staffs are very active & polite . I ordered Onam Sadhya and it tasted good as well. All kind of Kerala dishes available .
The food taste was zeroOrdered garlic chicken which was no were taste.Chicken lollipops was only flour no meat.Worst option to visit this resturant
Try fish tandooriIts the best
Food is great, ambience is awesome.. customer service is well managed... Someone should say its expensive but its not.. compared to other Indian restaurants around Dammam, they are not expensive with the best service and arrangements..
Since no other better Kerala (south Indiancusine in Dammam, we are left with this one they should improve a lot. Very few dishes are good. Weekends you have to wait for family section seats.
This deliciousness has blessed my feed.
Bad experienceWe tried manchow soup. Manchurian and Chinese food ..Manchuria was not cooked well .. even soup and vegetables were bland..Service very slow even though most tables were empty.. not recommended to come again
Quality and service were decent. Moderate price with tasty food items. We have tried traditional Kerala biriyani comes with better flavour as expected.
Lunch good.night special dishes expensive and not up to the mark.service excellent.ambience nice
Reasonable dinning experience. Was busy due to week end , however, they were quick to find a place.
Tasty and affordable .. Great service, clean and good location
Bought Sharjah Shake for 20 SR. Bad quality and taste. They even used banana skin inside it, while drinking it, I could feel the bitterness. Worst experience.
Tasted their recently introduced biriyani icecream it was amazing and tastey.one portion serves 2 or 3 price also reasonable overall good experiance.Tried their Schezwan Fried Rice and mashroom varattiyathu it was aslo tastey
Worst Sharjah milk shake ever tasted !! It was like banana peel blended with milk. They are Charging 20 SAR / shake and not even providing the base quality product.Never ever visit this place for a cold drink while summer in Saudi
Very bad experience from Suplayer and dont ask hot water , bad water , mutton and chicken biriyani average , receptionist are good man
A very good place to have a hearty Kerala lunch meal. Comes with Rice, about 12 sides (including 2 gravies, buttermilk, rasam, fish fry and payasam (sweet).Fish was delicious and other sides as well.
Very nice typical Malayali restaurant , food was awesome, good taste. Nice restaurant setup , atmosphere was excellent. Felt little costly in food prices !
Food taste is good... But feels bit expensive comparing other Kerala restaurant
Good ambiance, good and tasty foods
We had ordered porotta, chilly chicken, fried rice and noodles. To start with porotta, it was too hard and cold to eat. Chilly chicken was the worst where its kind of rubber and bad gravy. For chicken noodles, it was not properly cooked and fried rice was terrible. Not recommended.
Iftar dine in was Good 👍🏻 Alhumduillah
Calm and quietTasty foodIn city center
We were very surprised with how huge it is from the inside and the decors are beautiful. We didnt order off the menu ala carte ,we ordered the sadiya lunch which Id the traditional South Indian set lunch served on a banana leaf. You have the option of keeping it vegetarian or non vegetarian. Eating off that leaf is an absolute delight, the juices of the leaf that mesh with the warm food aids in digestion and calms any inflammation you may already be experiencing. We had thick rice as the main carb, with sambar a lentil stew with vegetables, with a bunch of condiments that go with it all,it also comes with a lovely coconut milk based custard dessert.I would recommend to everyone to give this treat a try.
It was a nice experience, the food is tasty, mango lassi is great, service was prompt and helpful. All in all we spent a pleasant evening between colleagues. I recommend this restaurant.
I orderd for chicken chilly it is so terribleI dont think the chickn is fresh.but other food are ok like meals porata etc
the dum tea is the best, naan, parota is also good.
The best place for conducting a party. Tasty food, premium and neat interiors,Very professional staff, We have enough parking for cars.If you want to try the best indian foods, this is the place. Its bit pricy but worth it.
Nice Ambience and South Indian Traditional Thali with banana leaves.Prices are bit in the upper side.
Food taste is great, but HORRIBLE customer service. Staff didnt bother to take your request seriously.I asked for my food to be brought to table altogether as I love to take nice pictures of my dinners, but staff brought appetizer first. Even I said I want altogether, he refused by saying "We serve whatever is ready".He brought that appetizer after 30 MINUTES of placing order, then it took them another 20 MINUTES to serve us our 3 out of 5 main courses we ordered. And the other one came 10 MINUTES AFTER, while the final dish never appeared at all.In total, we waited 50 MINUTES for 4 simple dishes as fried rice...with an apologize that they have a wedding function upstairs. My advise to management / owner: If you dont know how to manage, please just CLOSE your restaurant for public whenever you have gathering events. Its not funny that customers have to wait 50 MINUTES for just a normal simple dish like fried rice.Food: 4 / 5Customer service: 1 / 5
Fantastic taste (what we had), but no south Indian foods. The name Royal is missing in their vessels (old & damaged)4 star for Food and service.
The place is neat comfortable and well maintained with ample parking space. The food is a bit costly but tasty.Waiter to table ratio us a bit unbalanced we need to wait for long to get our order done.
Very Good Food, Excellent Service, Pleasant Ambience, Quick Delivery & Great Value for Money prices.
Visited this restaurant during the onam festival to try the special onam meal. The cost for each serving is 30 SAR with sufficient quantity. The special vegetarian meal served on the banana leaf was tasty. This place was very crowded during the lunch hours. The hotel service here is nice with utmost cleanliness standards. Finding the car parking space near the restaurant is a bit difficult and i didnt find any wheelchair accessible parking near the restaurant ♿🚫. The entrance of the restaurant doesnt support disability access because of the nearby footpath ♿🚫.
A nice place for dining , food is good and the place is clean , friendly staff , I would give it 5 stars if the family section has lift or strollers can go on the stairs , prices are reasonable . Try the tikka masala with nan breads or rice
We have been frequent visitors of this restaurant. And they serve good variety from the malabar cuisine.Last vist for a light dinner . We had the Tom Yum soup( Indianized versionand the fish curry both tasted horrible and so did the Appams they were not fresh it felt like the microwaved some old Appams .
Very nice interior with tasty food... chicken 65 is very tasty and juicy and also very pleasing and welcoming staff
Located in the busy part of Dammam city and is close to Corniche Area. The interior and furnishings are well designed and looks chic😀. Spacious enough seating arrangement. Nice place to take your family as well as ur friends. When it comes to food just as the name suggests it is specialised for South Indian dishes. Especially with the tasty Malabar dishes. Even Mughal and other cuisines such as Chinese dishes are also available in the menu. Service quality was pretty good. Never faced issue with parking whenever I had gone to this place. Pricing is slightly higher but still okay for the quality of service, the ambience and food.
Its awesome restaurant. The royal Malabar restaurant is provided very good food. The location in near Cornish. So far i take south Indian food. Its really awesome food quality in Onam food collection.very very good service for arranging and very nice staff. Outer look also like a royalty. Thanks.
Good quality of foods and especially the staffs behavior and attitude towards customer was perfect, the guy with smiley face
A great restaurant with Indian cuisine from all corners. They provide a fabulous ambience as the name says with the most courteous and professional staff, who have a pleasing smile on their face always. The food is mouthwatering especially the southindian dishes like crushed chicken and beef dishes with a tummyfilling quantity and reasonable pricing.

Best indian restaurant in dammam and good test and price
Well to start with, it has a great location. Great ambience and interiors. The family section is good too. The employees were helpful enough but the service was slow. The food is where I was disappointed. Though the menu has a lot of different cuisines infused, the South Indian cuisine definitely tasted good but some dishes were just poor. Still it’s better to go with the specials there and the prices were pretty reasonable
Nice ambiance and interior.. family section has privacy for each family..Prices are slightly expensive, but you will get tasty and variety of foods...
