Royal Bombay Palace - Indian restaurant in Linz, Austria
Food quality was good but quantity too less. It was a bit crowdy (visited in weekend). Hospitality needs to be improved...
I like the restaurant, my father works here as a waiter...If it was helpful, please have good day...
One of the finest Indian food restaurants in Linz. Very welcome stuff, fair prices. Tasty dishes. People with the finest taste for this food are equally amazed. Once you are in Linz, and you want to try some of Indian cuisine it is highly recommended
Found this place whilst driving around to find a grocery store. The owner Mr Bitu Singh was a great host. He made sure we had food accourding to our traditional palate. We were not disappointed. The starters were delicious and presentation was simply wowww.
Very delicious food and good services. 🙏
Best Indian food ever
The best naan we have ever had and perfect creamy butter chicken. The service is also perfect, very nice and kind people.
Food was very good, sadly My Dog was not allowed. Thazt is the reason for 2 Stars.
So the food was okay in general but extremely expensive since you order the main dish for 16-20 euros and then have to order rice or a different side for 2-4 euros. Drinks were averagely priced for Austria. The tandoori chicken is extremely salty and served on a bed of cabbage on an extremely hot cast iron plate which ends up completely burning the cabbage and filling the entire room with an acrid smell. For 16 euros, you get 4 small, salty pieces of tandoori chicken on a massive bed of burnt cabbage.
I all day of stay in Vienna one of the best Indian food i have with paajis RestaurantThe Royal Bombay palace is not serve only food they serve Kindness Love Prosperity........with mix of this masala food will give you heven fill..
Dear all,As an Indian I will never recommend this restaurant. It doesnt have an authentic north Indian cuisine taste. I would rather recommend Zaffran restaurant.
A very pricey Indian joint with some stylish, above average interior and decent service. However, the food is definitely not overwhelming - actually, it gave me a stomach bug shortly after leaving.
The best tasting Indian food in Linz together with efficient, friendly service makes Royal Bombay a place I will return again & again!
A bit expencive but very good food! I suggest their chicken Tika and the lamb...in any type of curry.
I really love the royal lamb and the service is very friendly. I enjoyed my time there and highly recommend it!
Its all its hyped up to be, and more. Apparently people are traveling from Vienna just to eat here, and I can see why.
the food is amazing the service is wonderful a great place with a cool indian vibe!
We enjoyed our dinner. Food was very good and specially the crispy naan. Owner is also very humble and kind.
This was the most overpriced restaurant i have ever seen in my 6 years in Austria. Two people would pay 40 euros for two small food samples. You would absolutely feel ripped off after trying it.
So slow and not delicious. I visited this Royal Bombay Palace with one Indian friend and Austrian friend but none of us are satisfied with the food. The food is not authentic Indian food. At least they have beautiful flowers. Not recommended at all.
VERY tasty food, a lot of variation. The most spicy option was just about hot enough for me.
OK, not great. We visited as a party of 2 Adults and 2 children, we spent 115€ on two starters, 3 mains, no desserts and drinks. Honestly the kids should maybe hold back on the champagne next time 😂 very overpriced. Clean linen on the table was very much appreciated but the service was mediocre at best. The menu choice is also very limited. We will not come back.
The best among the few Indian restaurants in Linz. The staff is very friendly and it adds to the dining experience when you meet a friendly staff at a restaurant.
Authentic Punjabi, Indian cuisine in Linz? I was amazed to find RBP in a small city like Linz. Wonderful location, 8 mins walk from zentrum, good ambience and decorations and most of all fantastic food! I chose to eat 2 typically punjabi dishes and they were made to perfection. I had the pleasure of passing on my compliments to the wonderful chef. Thank you Bittu paji and the rest of the team.
Surprisingly the tastiest Indian food i have had anywhere in the world. WOW!!
Fancy restaurant with very good Indian food.
Amazing food, great service. Staff, especially Gurdeep, was very helpful, they even help us find a parking spot to park.
Excellent food with exceptional service great ambience extremely friendlier staff.. The best India food experience in Austria... if I ever get a chance to visit Austria again then this restaurant will be again on my to do list
This place was lauded to me as the best Indian restaurant in Austria by some of my Viennese friends, and I gotta say they werent wrong.
Best Indian Hotel in Linz. The owner heart is of pure Gold, his nature is very very Good. Helping nature.
Our favourite Indian restaurant in Linz! When we have Indian guests we bring them there and theyll prepare special treats fr them. Prices are a bit on the higher side but that is usual for Indian restaurants somehow, the service and sauces and dips are great, even the wine menu is extraordinary.
Best. Absolute best.Authentic and delicious. CONSISTENT🙌🏼.I am never disappointed by my order and the service is incredibly friendly and attentive.Order suggestions: butter chicken, samosas, garlic naan, mango lassi⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
We have eaten Indian food in probably 20 countries and this place rates up there, maybe better than the India Café in Nelson NZ. The maitred made a point of sitting down with us and asking us our preferences and then designing a meal for us. It was superb... nouveau Indian but traditional too. Dont miss it. Very good Indian food with friendly staff. Great service, and a very nice outdoor setting if weather is good. We were a party of 12, and made to feel very welcome. The nicest place we dined in Linz.
Indian food in indian wayReally enjoyed the food and staff memebers are so welcoming.Never knew person is from my native place in punjabWill definitely suggest you to eat there.
Best Indian food in town. Food is delicious every time. Particularly amazing is that one can choose the spiciness of the dishes from "not spicy" to "very spicy". Highly recommend a visit.
Very nice food, greatly prepared. Would have liked larger meat portions though. Service was impeccable.
Wonderful! The food and the attention could not be better. Great selection of vegetarian dishes, good location. Highly recommended
The food was not that good. The chicken pieces was very small and the plate was full of sauce. There were some bugs inside and the kitchen is very loud. The prices are very high compared to the food quality and quantity. It is a restaurant that you try once and thats enough.
Had a very nice dinner here a while back. The food is delicious and not expensive. Watch out for the spiciness: If the staff says its spicy, it most likely is.
The restaurant is very nice, the staff is very friendly an worm, and will do the maximum so you can enjoy your meal, the food is very good will prepared with authentic indian taste
Nice food and atmosphere for authentic indian taste in Linz. The host are always generous for welcoming you. A place recommend for Fish soup.
Best Indian food in Austria. Always happy to visit. Always surprised with wonderful Manu and best service.
Excellent Indian food, although the menu is a bit pricey. They serve most of their dishes from not spicy to extremely spicy, so theres no need for people who dont like spicy food to not go there ;)Reservations are usually a must, I once didnt even get a table when I tried to make a reservation one day ahead.
Delicious indian food, talented and friendly staff,do reserve sitting space a day before is recommended, take some 15 minutes reserve time with you to find a parking space,it worths your time
Waited for 1 hour for food from the time we ordered. Generally not so good service, wanted to order desert but waiters did not notice us at all even though there werent that many people in restaurant. Price is not equivalent to the quality of service and food.
Food is delicious! Was a little disappointed that they do not have biryani in their menu but the other dishes definitely made up for it. This place deserves its excellent reviews. Would recommend the chicken tikka.
Good halal food. Nice small place in a small city of Linz.
Actually the first time I ate Indian, but my companion said it was very good. And for the record, yes I liked it too :-)
One of the best Indian restaurants I have ever visited. Also confirmed by my Indian colleague. Butter chicken is very tasty and dont forget to order a mango lassi.
Extremely excellent :-)One of the best Indian restaurant in Austria...everything is just excellent and the service is top...the owner always makes sure that his guests are satisfied with the service and food...very good ambience and everything is delicious...I could give more than 5 stars :-)
