Roxanne Cafe& Bar - Bar in Ankara, Turkey
Not a bad cafe at all. However been here twice on vacation, amazingly both breakfast orders made by my fiance were wrong. 1st time pleasant surprise, 2nd not so much. Coffee leaves a bit to be desired. But for a quick bite with little expectation it works to fill the belly.
Delicious breakfast at this place! They have many options on the menu, from sweet to savoury!Just bear in mind that is fairly expensive but in line with most of the places in San Francisco
Eventually sat down and watched 4 parties that arrived AFTER us get served first. Managed to get drinks but nothing to sit my coffee with …. Annoyed doesn’t even cover it especially as this place was recommended to us so we had very high expectations. Not enough staff and the staff they do have need to keep tabs on who sits down first!
Staff and environment was great. Theyre open early, which is great! Some of the food was a bit on the rough side. Bacon was under done and tasted like it was done in the same oil as the calamari the night before.
Lovely little food spot. Staff very nice. I got Nutella French toast, was very nice. Only issue was latte wasnt made properly.
Found this place walking down the street looking for breakfast. About 8 am on a Saturday there was no wait. American style breakfast. Breakfast sandwich was good but the Nutella waffle was delicious. We were out around 9 am and there was a small line forming.
Pretty good food; good service on a Sunday. Expect about $30 per person, which is about standard for the area. Careful: the calculated tip is post-tax, so you may want to do a custom amount.
Great food. Great service. Very attentive staff. My breakfast came out wrong but was instantly put right. Definitely worth a visit!!
We ordered coffee to go. The coffee was disgusting and ended up being more expensive than described on the menu. The waitress did not give me any change at first. I had to actively ask for my change.
Great location for breakfast.Near of Union Square and with the cable cars in front of the door.Cozy and delicious place.😋
The food is HORRIBLE. Pancakes tasted like they added the box to the mix, potatoes was cold so we had to send it back, the bacon was extra crunchy with no flavor and orange juice tasted like a reject brand you buy at the gas station. Such an awful food experience. Do yourself a favor and save your money, time and peace of mind.
A bit disappointed by this place with such great reviews. The breakfast food is pretty basic and lacks flavor (even the coffee is kind of bad). The prices are a little high for this level of quality.
Great food and amazing customer service! When I return to San Francisco, I will have breakfast again at this wonderful restaurant. The picture shows my favorite, Roxannes stuffed french toast.
Lovely and cozy place. Food are really nice. I ordered garlic bread ( which is very different than what I eat in Taiwan), tasted really good with cheese on it. And chicken Marinara spaghetti are yummy. I love it. ( price is fair too)
This was the worse breakfast ever. We were cramed into a corner table. The food was awful, eggs burnt the potatoes were undercooked. Pancakes were dry and everything was cold. The syrup was refrigerator cold and not enough syrup to even cover the pancakes. We didnt get drinks until after our food was served and the half filled glasses of water that were brought to us looked like they were from another table that didnt drink their water. Way over priced for horrible food. I will not return and wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!Id go with no stars.
Got a to go order came out quick and fresh. Some of the best breakfast sausage I’ve had along with potatoes and fluffy eggs. Also got the Nutella French toast with strawberries and bananas.....definitely hit the spot!
My husband and I took a quick trip to San Francisco for 4 days. Roxannes was recommended by our hotel. We ended up eating breakfast, there three days in a row! It was the best corned beef hash, I have ever had! The service was great. I highly recommend Roxannes Cafe
A small corner cafe serves delicious pancakes and waffles, also good coffee. Warm staffs, lovely ambiance.
The food is delicious and special. We came there by taking cable car. Its convenient and the restaurant is cozy. U can find delectable and surprise food there easily👍
Quaint restaurant. Good friendly service. I had the California omelet. It was good, but the side of potatoes were too mushy for me. More like stew potatoes, not breakfast potatoes. Other order of breakfast sandwich was good also.
Excellent breakfast! Eggs Benedict was perfect, link sausage on the scrambled eggs breakfast was very good! French toast was perfect. Only complaint is the amount of food for the money. We are little eaters, but not enough, we left satisfied, but not full. We would go back!
The food is really good. I had French toast, and a breakfast sandwich. My dad had omelettes. We went 3 times, we loved it so much. Are waiter named Carlos was really nice a said hi to us every time we went! It’s a small cafe, really cute. There is sometimes a vary short wait to get in. Indoor and outdoor seating. I would highly recommend!
The eggs benedict with salmon was really terrible. It was extremely sour and almost inedible. I threw away most of it. My other family members liked their food choices so I give it 3 stars.
Freaking delicious! Absolutely cute little restaurant. And I hope you get Carlos as your waiter, because he is great! Absolutely lovely! And I believe her name was Yvonne and she was a lovely server as well! Thank you!
Breakfast all day!? this place is great! staff here is anything beyond attentive
The highlight of this establishment is the staff, my bartender and other wait staff were so enjoyable and friendly. Bravo to the service staff at this place. The cherry on top was that the food was so delicious and plentiful. I had the Angus beef burger and to top it off a lava cake as seen in my photos. If you are looking for a casual but delicious meal, this will be your spot. This fits what I am looking for in a delicious meal with great conversation
Came in on a Wednesday morning, not very busy and waited 25 minutes for someone to take our drink/food order. Staff is friendly and there are enough waiters to cover the restaurant, but they seem to be all over the place in terms of organization. Food was okay. Probably not worth $89 for 2 adults and 2 children.
$80.00 for very basic food. Never got the drink I asked for and they pack in as many tables as possible. You’re elbow to elbow with the table next to you and its noisy. not enjoyable when busy. I could tell our server was trying his best but was too busy to give quality service. Also waited over 40 minutes for a very basic breakfast.
Cozy, comfy simple breakfast spot. Nice service. Nothing fancy.
The breakfast are wonderful. Delicious. I will be back to try more dishes.I ordered French Toast with Nutella and Strawberry, Eggs Benedict and Soup of the Day.Toast, eggs, potatoes are great. BUT the soup was not fresh. Its sour! Of course, this soup was not counted on our bill.deducting one star for this soup(
The walk up Powell was worth it. The Stuffed French Toast was good, the Orange juice was refreshing and the coffee bold and a wake me up. My favorite item was the sausage! The atmosphere was awesome and so was the staff. The time from order taken and meal to the table was quick. It would have been 5 stars but the one thing is the bacon was over cooked but still good. I will bring friends and family and will definitely tell my customers to come and eat at Roxannes.
Waited 25 min for 2 plates (french toast & smoked salmon). Coffee was cold when served.Waited 20 min for 2 glass of water ... served with the bill.Food was lower quality from nearest restaurants. No capres with salmon, no salad. Potatoes are barely cooked. Taste was Ok.No whiped creame with toast.Others do better.Paid 60$ ... paid less in other restaurant for a better experience.
Several people were waited on before us, even though we were seated way ahead of them. We finally got the waitress to take our order after 30 minutes. When we finally got our food, it was a disappointment to say the least. The pancakes were so dry and hard, basically unpalatable. We didn’t even address it because the wait for the food was so long and we didn’t want to wait for the order to be re- done. They put in a 12 plus percent service fee into the bill, one which was so undeserving of. The lack of help was apparent as you can see the workers scurrying about here and there. The wait, the service, and the food is no not worth the price you will pay here.
Worst breakfast Ive had in a long time. We walked in and asked the hostess if we could sit outside and she rolled her eyes and made a face at us. Then when ordering we had to repeat ourselves several times. Even after repeating ourselves, the waitress still got our order wrong. The food was the worst part. Eggs were dry, the food was bland. And they are charging about $17 per plate. Dont eat here.
Excellent food and service. We had the Roxannes stuffed French toast and the Napa omelet. Get there early or be ready to wait for a seat. Its definitely worth the wait!
My first time in SF and was with my wife and daughter. OMG!!!! We hit the jackpot of an ideal and clean place to eat breakfast! The food was fresh and exquisite! The waitstaff and management were cordial and friendly. My special thanks to Cindi and Carlos for going out of their way to be informative courteous and kind to us. We liked it so much we came back for breakfast today. Try it! Youll like it!!!!
I had the most delicious and fresh French toast! Such a cute place with great service! Come here for a guaranteed delicious breakfast or brunch.
We wanted breakfast while in downtown. This place had the best hot cocoa. We ordered the Belgium waffle and Roxanne Special. The potatoes were really good.
Very good food. Nice breakfast service that’s friendly and fast.
Cute cozy place with great coffee and food. If you are still into social distancing, you may want to wait until you get over it as this place doesn’t discourage making friends while you break bread. But what an absolute delight you get with a great staff and amazing food. Great bennies. Great coffee. This is THE place to have breakfast if you are staying on or near Nob Hill.
Its a small nice place (not ideal for Covid times). Asked for the eggs benedict, florentine benedict and the corned beef sunrise (corned beef hash benedicts), they were all very tasty. Not giving 5 stars cause they dont have outdoor tables, they didnt asked for vaccination proof and they dont include bread on the side for the breakfast dishes.
I would say the service was OK, not very quick to come get our drink order, But the food was delicious! The blueberry French toast was wonderful.
1st time visiting SF and on our first night we had dinner here, yes a bit pricey compared to FL but noticed everything in SF is expensive so overlooked that. Food was delicious. On our 3rd day we had breakfast and once again delicious their potatoes are so yummy. It does get packed and a bit uncomfortable to sit so I recommend go early for breakfast.
Delicious 😋 breakfast 🧇 with great 👍 service! The outside eating area was pleasant and everything we ate was on point. Definitely recommend coming here to try their omelette and French toast! Bellinis were tasty 👅 too! Keep up 🆙 the good 😊 work.
Super cute place. Our server was so pleasant and accomadating.I had the Napa omelet, was a different kind choice for me but I really enjoyed it.
What wonderful place. I came in for breakfast and had the Leo Omelet. It is by far, the best Omelet I have had, with no urge to add a condiment. Staff was warm and welcoming. I will be back again.
Very cute and cozy location. Breakfast is served all day, with many delicious omelette and sandwich options. There is also a lot of flexibility to customize your meal by choosing from the “breakfast basics,” which is perfect for customers with dietary restrictions. There is sometimes a short wait for seating as it is a pretty popular spot but it is worth it. Would eat here again!
Maybe it’s because we are from Chicago and the food is just better in the Chi. But the Breakfast at Roxanne’s was not good. The pancakes tasted like frozen microwaved pancakes. The corn beef hash was not tasty. The hash browns were not great either. We left dissatisfied. To top that off, there was a strong smell of fabuloso while we were eating. The waitress was nice tho. Would not recommend.
Best buttermilk pancakes Ive ever ate! All dishes were fresh and tasty. This cafe is really nice and comfy. Service is good, fast and very obliging! For the next time in San Francisco we will eat there defenetly.
This location may be having issues with being short staffed. It literally took an hour for the food to arrive at our table. Upon arrival, the vegetables were undercooked and the omelet hastily made. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat in San Francisco this is not it. Expect to spend upwards to 2 hours here.
