All-you-can-eat establishment inside the Nugget casino featuring a different cuisine each night.
I wasnt there for long time. However, I can say that breakfast was delicious. Big variety of food. Everything was fresh and tasty. I would recommend to eat there.
Hostess, waitress, bus boy, girl at the taco bar were very nice. Great service. Food was ok. I dont understand how to make soft tacos out of very small tortillas. An exercise in futility. Sunday and Tuesday are the times to go. Two for one special.
Fairly priced if you go during the week with lots of choices for meat and vegetables, carbs and more carbs, we go so full don’t even had room for dessert.Waitress keep removing our dirty dishes and keep everything clean.
Not worth the $54.11 my wife and I paid tonight. On seafood night you expect some nice crab legs. What we got was old crab, salty and dried out. Not much of a selection in the desert area either. About the only thing that was fairly good was the prime rib. Won’t be back again. If you want a great buffet go to the Atlantis Casino Hotel.
Usaully has a good buffet. This time the food wasnt that good. We have eaten here 3 times a month for about 6 months. Most of the times it was a good meal
It sure isnt what it use to be. Food is So-So at best. Very dark and uninviting atmosphere. Good value for your dollar if you are staying at the nugget. Otherwise, there are much better buffet options within minutes of the Nugget.
The food is quite awful. I have stayed and eaten at more casinos than I can count. This is by far the worst buffet. The food tastes like my 3rd grade public school lunches. Tiny selection of poor food. The staff was nice, the place looked fine. We went to Rosie’s cafe immediately after to get something decent.
This buffet is so disappointing. Its small and expensive. You barely have any options, the food isnt very fresh, and the dessert is tiny. For a couple dollars more I would just suggest going to Atlantis or Peppermill.
The manager is always amazing she is always quick to help her staff with picking up plates ringing up customers and asking the customers if everything is going ok, she also recommends what we should try in the buffet! She needs a raise cause she is doing like 10 jobs in one! She is fabulous always has a smile on her face!
The services was wonderful and the food was excellent. I liked that the desert bar had sugar-free as well as regular options of delicious goodies.
Amazingly, if you pay with comps, buffet is half price!! Casinos RARELY give you any breaks when paying with comps, kudos for that, Nugget!! Dinner buffet far more impressive than the earlier version, but they always feature a great salad bar, with grilled veggies and fruit and an anti pasta, two or three kinds of wraps, the chicken ceaser wrap was good, the whole thing was good, no complaints.
Excellent! We enjoyed our meal. I was plesently surprised that the Seafood buffet was $24.95, and included beer, wine, or other non-alcoholic drinks. What a deal!
Service was friendly. Had to avoid some foods-the serving utensil handles were actually on top of the food. Not very health code friendly. Food was pretty good. I tried a little of quite a few things and was not disappointed. Great experience overall.
About 12 filthy sweaty construction workers came into the buffet on their lunch break while we were there. The smell was Horrible and their language was terrible. F bombs galore. Complained and the restaurant Supervisor took it very nonchalantly. Horrible Lunch. Is there no more dress code in the Nugget? Ruined our Lunch
The most friendly atmosphere in Reno Nevada. Delicious, nutritious buffet. Fresh dish to enjoy. Wide variety of desserts.
The food was good price was fair and the service was but the selection seemed a little small. Maybe Im just used to Vegas buffets. Overall a good experience
We came here for Saturday night dinner and came back for Sunday brunch becuase It was so good! At the dinner the prime rib was excellent, melt in your mouth super fresh, delicious, and they cut you a huge portion. Lots of protein to choose from from ribs, pork chops, and a few different chicken and fish options. The side dishes were good too especially the mac n cheese. The desserts were delicious, had everything you could want. The dinner buffet also comes with alcohol if you ask, but I dont think they advertise that. The brunch buffet was good, but not as good as dinner. Prime rib wasnt as good I think they just re-heated it from night before was a bit dry. My only complaint that there wasnt any biscuits n gravy. Other than that it was great, and worth the price.
Absolutely the worst buffet I have every been.I do tour bus guiding so buffet unfortunately is a daily thing for me. I have been doing buffet from $10-$60. This one has very reasonable price and very friendly service. I did wish she could checked on me to refill my drinks a little but it was OK. Nothing was good anyway. I came around 7:30pm. So you Cant tell me before its around closing time so less fresh food which I understand. Everything had little quantity left, I tried almost everything (tried the buffet for my guest so I can decide to recommend them or not ),food is just a mush. Tasteless. Only thing is not too bad was the grill chicken. Pasta was like the leftover for two days. Prime rib had kids size left on the chopping board I didnt even bother to ask for a piece. It looked dry. Pork was dry. Veggie was a mush. Dessert area was also limited selection. Best thing was that one glass coke. Try the noodle hut next door. Simple but better.
This buffet has a lack of flavor on all levels, cold and hot food was just blah. My 6yr old kept asking me what was wrong with the food everything he ate he didnt like and no hes not a picky eater. One of the cooks that was checking food helped my son serve his self. That was the only great thing I can say about this buffet
The food was decent. About what you would expect from a casino buffet. And the price was fair for the food. I however was very disappointed win our waitress. We went during lunch on a Saturday and it was moderately busy nothing compared to the dinner rush but it wasnt empty either. Our waitress took 10 minutes before she finally came to take our drink orders. And then she only returned once to refill our drinks. What made it worse I had the same drink (pink lemonadeas the surrounding three tables. I know serving staff can get busy but I watched our waitress meander back and forth down get section not talking or refilling drinks. On more than one occasion she was chatting up the other staff members. For serving staff that only has to refill drinks and check on customers there was no excuse the level of neglect we received. It was just apathy which is why I was so frustrated. Im willing to give it another chance since the food was decent and the prices fair. But hopefully next time the waitress is much more professional
The waitstaff is outstanding. The food is not. Its a buffet, what do you want. The staff seemed short handed, but did a great job!
Desserts are very good esp. the chocolate mousse! The entrees are okay, not a place if youre looking for seafood though.
I have been coming to this buffet for many years and I come because I have a players card and gamble here so it doesnt come out of my pocket ..They used to have Mexican food on Mondays and was great..Now just what ever food. Yes, this buffet used to be very good but now is a C minus..Once in a while I get a dish that us really good but not the norm..I like the lemon bar and lemon pie deserts and the custard cups are great..The servers are excellent but they all know me and that helps. It will never again be up to the Ascuaga era quality ..But I will be there in an hour or so ...The pineapple is always fantastic..Who ever theur supplier is,has good quality I dont ever expect more than than AVERAGE..i wish the food management would take time to read the comments...Bon Appetite.
They have updated dishes some are tasty...the desserts need to be updated not great selection or taste. Staff is always pleasant and good service. It is worth the price especially using your points you get half off your bill.
One of the best Buffets in the Reno/Sparks area, Customer Service is outstanding, food is fresh and they are on top of everything.Highly recommended, thank you to your Staff and the Folks behind the lines so to speak, we appreciate everyone and absolutely everything at the Sparks Nugget, Best Casino in Nevada, bar none ofThank you to Gamar, Liz and the entire Staff at the Cashiers Desk, additionally Id like to thank Adelina, Brendin, Miranda and Austin at Game On, they have great food and they are really nice people. Eric at the Sports Bar as well as Beto and Drake are super cool as well, to many to name! Keep up the great work👍
A little worried when we were in line as a few had said it wasnt good coming out. But it was packed and we decided to stay and try it.Totally worth it. Great food but it was a somewhat small selection. Not bad pricing. Its also a good thing I had ordered 2 waters as noone came by to ask me if I wanted more. But again they were slammed. Definitely coming back.
Food was not good, some could not finish since they really had no taste. We are at the Grand Sierra last week and the buffet was much better and less expensive .
Went today for Christmas and it was expensive for two people! And the food was sooooo nasty! Mostly just pastas and potatoes.mashed potatoes looked like raw dough it was thick and sticky so was the stuffing.and the food selection was small!! Never going there ever again!! Even the dessert was nasty! So disappointed 😑
Food was extremely bland. Desserts were alright but lacked flavor. I feel like they over garnished the desserts with chocolate when its not necessary. Meats were alright. Get the meats that are mixed into the vegetable because the meat didnt have a lot of flavor. Service was good.
Used to be one of my favorite buffets in town as of lately I dont know if its from the change of ownership or if they have just gotten cheaper but the food quality has degraded significantly where are used to be so pleased with the spread and the way it was cooked that you never needed to visit the desert bar now the meats typically are dry or overcooked the veggies seem wilted and in some cases they are so salty its like eating a canned veggie so what I used to give a 5-star to I now have a hard time giving it to * 2 dont get me wrong the food is still edible but its nowhere near the quality it used to be
Perhaps the staff there were underpaid. Their faces have shown that they did not want to serve anyone. Even the waitress has acknowledged the order of a hot tea but its only a lip service, never came.
Everything was fresh and tasted good. The Tri Tip was extremely rare, so had to eat the outer edge which were really good. The desserts were outstanding. The service was great! They are hard working and very friendly!
Located in the Nugget Casino the Rotisserie Buffet is a pleasant and reasonably priced buffet. We tried several of the dishes and many were very good. It seems like the deserts were probably the most high-end items they had in the menu. For the price it was a good deal. However, the selection was fairly Limited. I am on the Atkins diet which requires mostly protein. Most of the dishes had a lot of noodles in them or a lot of vegetables period for the typical Diner this would not be a problem but it was for me. I had to go off my diet to participate which I pretty much knew ahead of time. The food is fairly basic not too many fancy items. However I was there on Wednesday night and they have an incredible roasted pig at the cutting station. But that was the only item I would say that was terrific. There was no prime rib or turkey or other items at The Cutting station to choose from. The buffet does have limited choices but everything I tried was good
Great buffet. As locals we love it. Not as flashy as some others but good food, salad bar is always fresh and a nice selection of desserts.
Great food!... Rude staff! 1 or 2 exceptions... Make you feel as intruders. Lady complained about opening few minutes late and instead of apology server got mad!.. Need training in customer service.
Visited for Sunday champagne brunch, which I did enjoy. Wide selection of items on the buffet, some of which were a bit odd, like breakfast lasagna. Most items though were very tasty. The only drawback was that there wasnt a better selection of pastries and dessert items out for the brunch. Otherwise, everything was great including service. I would definitely come back.
This was pretty good for a buffet, but not good enough for the price. At $15 pter person, it would get at least one more star. But we paid 81 for 3 and it wasnt that good. Everything I tried was acceptable but not fantastic. The deserts tasted good but not great.
Went with 5 others and only gave 4 sets of silverware, we had to ask for more. Staff is okay but there’s only a limited amount of food. Small amounts of meat, which is good for the non-meat fans. Small space, which is understandable. The only thing bothering me is the food choices and the food choices and overpriced.
The selection of food was not great. I expected more of a selection. Ive been to Golden Corral with more variety. The food was dry and cold. The mini bagels were hard, and there was no syrup for the dry french toast. For $20 a person, it wasnt woth it. Rosies Cafe in the Nugget was better. The waitress was very pleasant, but the bus boy wasnt. If you want a good buffet, go to the one in the Atlantis. It was worth every bit of the money!
Food was ok but not good . I don’t recommend this place. The food selection is very poor and meat was way to raw. Even the sodas don’t have any gas. I don’t recommend the coffee from there either. My whole family wanted to throw up after the meal and my dad threw up.
Save your stomach and wallet the trouble, there are other places you can go. It is an old school style buffet with huge blocks of ice to keep things cold, very tiny selection of meats with a lot of filler foods. Even dessert could not save it sadly.
This resterant is located at the Nugget hotel casino in Sparks Nevada. A great selection of food and desserts. This is a great place for the entire family. It has a huge indoor swimming pool and spa. One of the best fitness facilities in the area. Plenty of free parking also. Great midweek prices.
We went on Sunday buy one get one free locals night when you got to the head of the line we found out that this does not include kids so it ended up being cheaper for us to have one kid with one adult the food at the buffet was mediocre at best the staff however was very friendly and professional one of the kids found live insects crawling on his blueberries we asked to speak to the manager and he removed the blueberries with the crawling insects on them from the line and offered to refund our money only if we stop eating immediately since its only suited half of our party we opted to just continue with our dinner Sans blueberries on a more positive note none of the children got sick and I guess the bugs were just extra protein but I cant say I would give the rotisserie Buffet a glowing recommendation even putting the Vermin incident aside
Worst food EVER. Downright nasty. Scrambled eggs were clumps of sawdust. When they finally started putting out lunch offerings it didnt get better. Meatballs dry and tasteless. Shrimp salad tasted off. Gravy was no better. About the only thing that was worth eating was the turkey slices. This used to be a premier buffet. But since John Ascuaga sold it it has just about hit rock bottom. Wont go back. Ever.
Very small buffet. Poor selection of entrees. Meat carving station was gross tonight: whole pig... presentation was unappetizing. NO other meat selections were offered. Salad bar pretty good. Dessert bar was decent. Service was good.Food quality is a disappointing 2 out of 5 stars, certainly NOT worth the $16.95 per person price. On Sundays and Thursdays, folks 50 years old, or older, get two-for-one pricing: two people for $16.95.The Atlantis buffet across town is far superior, yet nearly twice as expensive. You get what you pay for.I hear on Mondays, the Atlantis buffet is 50% off for those folks 55 years old or older.
Thanksgiving buffet. Specified seating, we could not choose a table. We are two adults that would like to enjoy the day and the football game on the Tvs. However, someone not thinking at the casino put is with a family with 3 small children who quickly became bored and parents who thought it was cute with their childrens obnoxious behaviors. Bad business Nugget casino. Bad business to the seating hosts who did not care.
Great place to eat. Had players card and got comp for breakfast. Most days you can use your players card and get 1/2 off the price if you use your points. The buffet is a bit basic but has great food
The worst buffet in this city, their choice of food literally consist of one isle to choose from. Half the isle is a salad bar with the same options on both sides. The food itself is not very good. The buffet itself is overpriced. Overall we had a bad experienced.
To call the food here mediocre would be a serious exaggeration. Dennys is a 5 star restaurant compared to their $18 brunch buffet! Not one single good dish in the entire restaurant, even the dessert was bad. Cant imagine them being in business much longer.
They wanted to charge full price of $51 on New Years Eve for a 10 minute dining experience???? We arrived at 9:10 p.m. and informed that they pull the food off the buffet promptly at 9:30 and then asked for full price. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! What a crappy way starting the new year at Rosies Cafe eating crappy cafe food. Makes me very sad.
