Roti House - Indian restaurant in Vientiane, Laos
A simple restaurant, but with great, well spiced food. I have visited a couple of times and had the Thali and it was really good both times. Will be going again!
Great restaurant, the food was very delicious and the staff was friendly.
Really tasty food, good prices and friendly staff
Excellent food, Super nice staff
Authentic, delicious Indian cuisine! The staff was super helpful and nice! Definitely going back
Delicious Mutton Curry with Naan.
One of the Best India food in Vientiane. Order Mutton Curry, Butter Chicken and Palak Panner with Plain Naan, South Indian Parotta. Food is great delicious enjoy until the last drop of the curry repeating order plain nann to enjoy the curry, staff is very nice and helpful. Another Recommended place for a visit.
I went several times. All meals very delicious, many vegi options.
excelente food like , delicious 100% recomendation and good place and clean
Always my favourite in laos. Delicious food with a low price. Highly recommended
Probably the best tasting North Indian food in Vientiane. Though portions are quite small, the taste is spot on.
Great food, good prices and very kind service!
Good ambience. Ideal place for Indian food in vientiane. Especially paneer and samose !!!! Thank you Roti house for making me feel at home.
Very good but also very slow.. And a bit expensive for the size
Please try their Chilli chicken and Chicken manchurian. Yummy.
Amazing Indian food. A bit on the higher side but the taste makes it worth it.
This restaurant doesnt look much from outside but is clean and attractive inside. The menu isnt as expansive as some other South Asian restaurants but all the favorites are there. The meal I had was delicious so if thats a guide to the other menu items Id say this place is really good. I had take out.
Loved the Indian food ....its aromatic and authentic too!!
Missing traditional English food, so we came out for an Indian dinner. Really enjoyed the evening, excellent food and a great choice, lots of different breads and lots of choice of curry. I want to come back for breakfast.
A great range of Indian dishes from the north & south. The staff were so helpful & friend. The food was delicious. A new firm favourite
Fabulous Paneer butter masala. And great garlic nan. I could not recommend it more highly for the meal we had. Keep it up guys, Covid will soon be over and tourists will be back, meanwhile, local residents should be flocking to this place!
Decided to give this place a try and was not disappointed. Im no Indian food expert, but I thought the quality was quite nice, and the portions were filling. I would definitely return as I think its one of the best Indian food options near the Mekong.
The curries servings were too small for the prices. Tastes were hit and miss. The naan basket was not too bad. Can try once perhaps.
This is by far the best Indian Ive had in Vientiane. The owners are very nice and went out of their way to make me a korma even though it wasnt on the menu, and it was delicious. Ive had about a few curries there now and each time its been bang on. Would definitely recommend it if you fancy a curry.
Best Indian food in Laos! Was our last day in Laos and after 10 days of Asian and Italian food , we were really craving for some good Indian food. We ordered Bhindi Masala, Dal Tadka, Gobi Manchurian and Butter Nan and it was all delicious. The chef took a lot of interest in preparing each dish and it was as good as any Indian restaurant back home. Loved it! Highly recommend this place if you want a taste of authentic Indian food.
Food is really delicious. Roti chanai is the best in the city. But the place is a little bit overpriced. Vegetarian curry is around 40.000 kip
Very nice restaurant in Laos. You can get good Sri Lankan and Indian foods here. Very nice staffs here. You must visit here to taste Indian foods
Im from Romania! Today I tried veg food here.. Its very delicious the very first time Indian style eating with my Indian friend.! Its very nice to have meal over here! Thats an excellent taste! I recommend people to have food here and Ill come back again! And thank you Roti!!
Good place to taste Indian food
Freshly prepared, high quality food. Maybe the tastiest Indian food in Vientiane. Well worth a visit. The palak paneer is maybe the best Ive had anywhere in the world (and uses paneer, not tofu). Highly recommended.
Excellent Indian food. Chill atmosphere. Great music. I enjoyed the Roti House Special greatly. The parotta was also delicious. Loved the Indian tea served. I will definitely return to Roti House for the quality of food served.
Friendly staff, speaks English very well, so they can give you more info about the food. The food we got was delicious! For me a bit too spicy, but Im not used to eating spicy food. Nevertheless tasted so great that I just had to finish my plate.
Food was delicious, and it was so nice dinner ,the staff of roti house are good and service also good thats why I recommend to all to enjoy a good food..
Was a little dubious of finding good Indian food in Laos but Im so glad I gave this place a shot. Amazing food, packed with flavor and super authentic. I ordered a whole spread and my favorite was the butter chicken (37kwith plain naan (8k). If you love Indian food, you NEED to come to Roti House.
I am from India my self RASHMIRANJAN MALLICK ,(BDS)Yesterday night I went to roti house it is not far away form makong knight market😉😉I ate panner butter masala andDal tadka andPlane riceThe food was toooo...goodI hope it gives me a better dinner thats knightAnd also suggest all to go to roti house and eat south and North Indian food 😄😄😄😄😄Thanks roti house for ur better service also....
Calling this restaurant is Indian is totally wrong. Staff there dont even know how Indian food taste like I ordered here Chicken Thali set of meal but there was nothing like a meal, very simple local rice, Dal like water, vegetable was just bolied smelling patato, curd was not fresh and main dish Chicken was like bolied with onion not even taste like 10% of Indian food in India a normal person can make better food than them. Totally not recommend this restaurant if youre looking for pure Indian food 👎
Very authentic Indian food. Friendly staff great service. Very reasonably priced I visit twice a week. Must try wont regret it.
Honestly,i had nice dinner @Roti House.Their Food and taste excellent.super clean very gentle and polite services and the way they treated me also excellent.everything clean and tidy.
I was visiting the restaurant ROTI HOUSEvery nice place & Maintaining super clean , tasty dishes
First and foremost, I asked for vegetarian food but was served with chicken curry.Secondly, the serving trays were caked with layers of dust.Thirdly, the cheese naan that I ordered had no cheese in it and was drenched in oil. Moreover, the hand-washing sink was covered in grime.Last but not least, I had serious stomach pain, diarrhoea and vomiting after eating at Roti House. I believe that I had experienced food poisoning. Please be extremely careful when eating here.
Very dirty with flies and roti nan container was filled dust as if never been washed. When washing hand had a glimpse of the kitchen was covered with a dirty curtains and unkempt cook. Sink was caked with grime. The puree was extremely oily. Left with a feeling of nausea how food safety is maintained.
Delicious food, best Indian food Ive had in Vientiane! Also great and quick service. Priced are fair. Owners are really nice!
I ordered the chicken set and two of the curry dishes seemed to be watered down to make them last longer. When I dipped the naan in the dish, it didn’t stick to the naan. It may have been because they didn’t make a new pot for the day yet or for whatever reason. I would have rather waited for a new pot to be cooked. They were nice, and there was okay service, nothing special. However I was very disappointed by the food.
Genuinely the best Indian food I’ve ever had, great customer service and extremely reasonably priced. Can’t recommend highly enough!
Delicious dosa, makhani chicken and masala chai, just like being in south India, very reasonable prices and also very clean and importantly very cold beer.
Roti House is a cosy restaurant serving authentic Indian food. Prices are reasonable for restaurant in Vientiane ranging from 15K to 40K. We had Kothu Paratha and Chicken Vindaloo. Both were tasty and rich with curry spices. The service was good too.
Compare to other Indian restaurants in town Roti house has very limited items in menu that makes they are good in what they are serving. I ordered masala dosa and aloo parata.
Superrrrr delicious and reasonable price.Nice people, good masala food, and Indian music, I felt that I really visit India.😄Thank you for the good dishes ! I will visit again!
Not a vast menu so choosing was easy. The flavours were outstanding. If you love curry then this is a place you have to come to. Added bonus is the air conditioning, especially in this hot weather
Should be the perfect food destination for Foreigners and Laotians.Great taste and welcoming staff. You will definitely enjoy traditional indian food here.Found many foreigners keep this place floated. Seems to the new catchy and modern indian restaurant in Vientiane.Nice ambiance compare to other restaurants. Dont know why it is still not listed on tripadviser.
