Great place for breakfast. Nasi lemak is vary with meals like paru and ayam rendang. All of them are delicious! The place is nice too with fast & nice services. Need to come early or you may expect a queue.

Decent place for weekend breakfast. Limited choices of foods. Would suggest to add some local kuih selections as the waiting time for the foods is quite long. Come early to avoid crowds.

they have nasi lemak and roti bakar with charcoal like the name said. their sambal spicy and thick like nasi lemak kg baru. even their nasi lemak smell of charcoal. very aromatic for me. The time i went there i think about 100 people dining in but the service was within ample time. People que for seats but the staff swiftly manage the crowd.Parking limited but actually there is a tiny road behind the restaurant and if visitor dont mind walking a bit. its not that far

Found this place while searching for where to breakfast in Taiping. I think the place is overrated. Super slow service. Waiting for food and drinks about half an hour. Nasi lemak is okay but sambal is too spicy for my liking.

The Malay-style wobbly half boiled egg on toast is the special offering here. Could be made hotter and when coupled with the sweet lemongrass infused Ayam Rendang actually makes a tasty breakfast!

The spiciest sambal bilis Ive ever eaten. But nice. The paru was also nice👍👍👍. The roti bakar arang they said but couldnt smell the charcoal plus they use margarine instead of butter. The service was fast.

A very good toast indeed. Cripsy on the surface and still moist on the inside. Do try the other food on the menu. The nasi lemak ayam rendang is something I would go back for. There are lots of tables available but try to go on a sunny day as it gets a little harder to get a table with current sop. Parking is plenty. Would recommend for breakfast

Try the roti bakar (toasted breadeither with kaya jam or runny eggs. Their signature dish is nasi lemak with chicken rendang which is delicious. The sambal is nicely cooked and not too hot.

Taste was slight better than ordinary, roti goyang was one of the interesting dish to try (meant for 1/2 boiled egg lover), roti kahwin majerin if can replace with butter would be better. Toti kukus kaya was so so, nasi lenak rendang and ayam goreng was fine. Sambal was just nive, no so spicy. Pricung was reasonable.

This place serves Nasi Lemak with varieties of side dishes to choose from and its special menu which is charcoal toast with half boiled egg on top. Starting with the nasi lemak, the portion of the rice is little less and also less warm although its served at 8.10am. The fried chiken also served cold. Even the chili sauce served cold. The charcoal toast were toasted using pan (not toast using charcoal as advertisedand not properly toast with just bit of butter used. The half boiled egg on top of it is just nice but additional baked bean is like served right from the can, very dissapointed. Our charcoal toast came within 10 min and sadly our nasi lemak delivered 10 min later which sent to wrong table earlier. Total cost for our breakfast is RM27.70 which is quite fare for 3 plates of nasi lemak 2 with side dishes, 2 sets of charcoal toast with half boiled egg and 5 drinks. Overall our breakfast experience at this place is not as what we expected although after just 30 min dining, the table arround and parking are full.

Over rated. Nasi Lemak without kacang and ikan bilis. Roti Bakar Goyang (toast with 3 half boil eggcould have been better. Chicken rendang taste more like chicken Sambal. Taste was OK only. If youre a foodie, dont bother coming here.

The only thing worth eating here is thier steam bread and coffee. This morning tried the telur goyang, cant really eat it. The margarine was not melted into the bread, the eggs was too runny, the egg whites was still too raw, bloody hell, cant eat it. The nasi lemak is not worth the mentioned, the sambal was the worst. Hey, dont get angry at me, if it suits your taste then please do enjoy. Need to improve on the food. The place and service was excellent though, hope it gets better.#BMF.

Please come here early or else you need to wait other customers finish their breakfast. So far the bread is just nice, the nasi lemak and other dish is so so. Please order kopi ais, their kopi ais is the best 👍🏼

When i came there is no chair for my family. So i waited for about 5 minutes. So we ordered chicken nasi lemak, prawn nasi lemak, mee kari, mee sup, roti telur special and roti bakar. I dont like their sambal and kari because the sambal kind of sweet and cair and the kari is cair too. Other than that is okay not bad.

One of the best place to eat at Taiping. You should try the Roti Bakar Special and Nasi Lemak. Fast service, and good taste. Fully recommended.
