Rosie's Kitchen Pantry - Restaurant in Frankston, Australia
Great food friendly staff anx the service is outstanding
The food is fresh, delicious and most obviously made with love. Rosie is a clearly passionate about food. If youre lucky you can try her fresh baked bread and butter pudding muffins, served with cream and maple syrup. You might find stacks of local eggs for sale, signs for local activities and specials dreamed up by Rosie from fresh local produce. A family run business, this has to be the friendliest cafe in Frankston South. Well worth the visit.
The service was pretty casual, I dont mind that! I ordered the eggs benedict with bacon and I absolutely loved it.
Big english style cooked breakfast.
Nice, cozy lovely place๐

Loved Rosies! My partner and I were driving past and couldnt resist going inside. The staff are lovely and happy to have a chat, the coffee was fantastic and the food was excellent! Service was quick and I cant wait to go back and try out some of their other stuff. They also support local artists by displaying and selling their works, a beautiful local gem.
Morning tea with family. Great food, great coffee and great service. Highly recommended. Will be going again.

What a beautiful cafe with amazing chai latte and a awesome selection of food options if you choose.Highly recommend treating yourself and your loved ones to Rosies, its one outta the box!
Lovely staff, wonderful coffee, great service and food ,yum.
Staff are fantastic, unfortunately they are let down by the owner. I overheard the owner bad mouthing another customer. Made me feel very uncomfortable, I wouldnt return if you paid me.
Just a friendly, no fuss neighborhood cafe. Great coffee, always hot!
Great food , coffee and good genuine people ๐
Nice cosy little eatery. Great food and wonderful coffee
Rosies is a great small Australian Cafe. The food and coffee is outstanding. Children loved the fresh OJ. Highly recommended to anyone local or coming from the city.
Wonderful food and coffee with friendly service. Highly recommended.
Rosie and Justin are lovely. Consistent coffee, lovely food made in house. Support local!
Love Rosies Cafe! The staff are always lovely, and Rosie is so passionate about providing the best food and service to her customers. Thank you for providing a friendly place to go for delicious brekky, a coffee, lunch and snacks :)
We had a wonderful lunch First of all the staff are so warm and kind that starts to to set the atmosphere. Then we were treated to a tasty lunch of homemade meat & veggie pasties with a yummy salad as well as tomato chutney which really makes the dish (just like Mum used to makeThe meal along with coffee was great. Thanks Rosie and staff we will see you soon.
Posting as a new regular! Rosie and her staff are amazing! Warm and welcoming, the atmosphere far exceeds expectation. Inviting, hospitable and friendly. Food is homemade, made with character and love. Thank you!
Wonderful friendly staff, bright cheerful decor and interesting paintings....food and coffee excellent!! My third visit and look forward to my next one
7 of us( a walking groupdropped in mid morning for a well- earned cuppa. I enjoyed my chai as did my friends who had coffees. I took home one of Rosies famous bread & butter muffins & just had it for lunch heated up with the maple syrup & cream Rosies supplied me with. Oooh how yummy it was!
I love Rosies. Great variety of delicious healthy and naughty food. Interesting artwork for sale. Friendly, helpful staff.Only one complaint .... No Camels milk! (Inside joke! Haha)
Always love popping in here after/ or between jobs at work!! Owner/staff always accomodating and welcoming. Food is always fresh, well presented and yummy. I am lucky, its my bosses fav place so I get to tag along when we work together!I much prefer supporting my local businesses and this is one of the best.PS: The owner knows her teas!!!
Nothing special, a quick stop cafe. WAY OVERPRICED. The ham on the eggs benedict was way to thick but the sauce was nice (donโt think it was home-made though). The young man with no personality who worked behind the till came across as quite rude.
Always enjoy a coffee here with my yoga mates. Nice, fresh home made food, friendly staff and plenty of space.
Overpriced and we were disappointed with the food. My friend ordered a ham and cheese croissant, which came squashed flat and over-cooked. My pancake with fresh berries was OK - the berries were lovely, but the pancake was rather heavy; not light and fluffy as one would expect. However, the coffee was good and the staff were lovely.
Gordon Ramsay has more manners than this chef.We went to Rosieโs for a special birthday lunch for a local (weโre not from the area and we were taking our guest out for a treatand chose it because of the terrific reviews. Boy, was that a mistake. It. Was. Awful. From the start we had concerns. Looked a bit crappy, fritters pre-made in the window, empty at 11.30am etc but we perservered because of the great reviews online.Wonโt be doing that again! The staff member who greeted us was lovely, helpful and a real asset to the place. Then, after taking our order, she left. And it all started to slide, wet-and-wild style, down the face of Mt Everest.Meals, which are pretty pricey, took ages to arrive. They ranged from OK to utterly inedible. They were gigantic but you know... who wants to eat a gigantic pile of whatโs-it. Stodgy, almost cornless corn fritter smothered in sweet chilli sauce and not the promised relish, a slab of sandwich that hurt my stomach just to look at, with really thick-cut, commercially packaged ham, and a pretty average burger. The worst part, though, had nothing to do with the food. Our special birthday guest wanted a dessert. She raised her hand to get the attention of a staff member and said โexcuse meโ. Not being regulars (and we never will be after this, be sure of thatwe had no idea who was in what role.So it happened to be the chef who saw our special guest beckon. She pretty much spat venom across the room and said โIโm the chef and Iโm cookingโ. Our guest is hard of hearing and didnโt catch what had been said, so the chef stormed out from behind the counter, charged over to our table and repeated herself in the nastiest tone I have ever heard in (supposedhospitality. And then she said, โI will send someone overโ.In the time it took her to leave her station, stomp over and upset the entire party, she probably could have just taken the order and smiled, and moaned about us afterward in private. Instead she made a spectacle of herself, made all of us and possibly other customers uncomfortable, and had one of the party worried about whether they should even eat the dessert after that. (She did because she was starving and hadnโt eaten her main at all. To make matters worse she insisted I try some just so that when she complained about it later, Iโd understand what she was talking about. And she was right. It sucked pretty hard. Stodgy, dense, and with unexplained dark patches.Worst pancake I have ever tried.)The odd thing about the chef was that after shouting at us that she wasnโt a waitress, she delivered menus to other tables, took orders, brought food out and chatted with other customers. So you know... that was a bit confusing. Bit hard to know someone isnโt a waitress when theyโre performing all the tasks of one.Iโd say the chef is also the owner. Because no sensible employer would put up with that sort of attitude unless it was offset by some remarkable kitchen skills. And itโs not.Clearly this place has some loyal local custom. If youโre not one of them, stay away. No one should pay good money to be insulted. And to top it off, one of the dessert-eaters was pretty crook that night and another was crook all the way home in the car. Canโt be sure why, of course, but I know dessert-eater will remind me of it anytime I make a restaurant suggestion for the rest of my life. So in her words, after she spent some quality time in the dunny, โThanks, Rosieโsโ. Never, ever again.
Took a group of 12 people, the owner approached the group and very loudly for everyones benefit told everybody that this wasnt a pub and as everybody had ordered different meals, that everybody would just have to wait as she was the only one preparing meals.Rude beyond belief, and even stranger as our group had booked...so she knew we were all coming.Maybe she should consider another vocation.
Love Rosies! Staff are wonderful and the food is great. Super kid friendly, we take in our son all the time, the staff are engaging and he loves his babycinos.
Very expensive for the quality, location and decor. In my opinion its over priced. The meals are very big but nothing special at all. The mushrooms are way too sweet, and so is the baked beans. Mushrooms have such a wonderful flavour already I dont know why you would add a sweetener to them. I found the female staff to be very friendly, the young man making the coffees not so much. Actually he had no people skills what so ever.Personally I wouldnt recommend this place unless price vs quality is not an issue and you were really really hungry.
Rosies feels like youre dining at a friend or families house. Rosie and her staff are so welcoming and friendly always taking the time to have a chat. The BLATs is our fav, Rosie makes a special one for my hubby with extra salami and for my 3 year old extra sprinkles on his pancakes!
Hidden little Cafe with "Bonsoy" Milk available - Which makes me very happy! :D Great coffee and menu - Will be back!
Incredible!!!! Got the croque Monsieur my boyfriend the big mans pantry and it did not disappoint. Get anything with the hollandaise 10/10
I have just walked out of a cafe that we once loved after being treated so rudely! Made to feel like an absolute burden for coming to the cafe half an hour before closing. The communication of the male that served us was appalling. Such a shame because the rest of the staff are gems.
The avacardo smash wasnt very nice, nothing is labelled, the owner seems rude and the atmosphere is weirdly huge, like a warehouse. Also extremely slow considering staff numbers and numbers of costumers.
French Toast Muffin And The Coffee Was Amazing. The Staff Are Fantastic. A Lovely Cosy Atmosphere. What More Could You Ask For.
Staff a bit rude and unfriendly. You didnt feel like you were really wanted in there.Menu is very limited and not much variety. Food itself is ok but is definitely overpriced for what you receive.I wouldnt go here again. Not a nice atmosphere at all.
Welcoming and attentive service and even better delicious food, and a perfect cup of coffee!Heaps of rooms for Mothers groups with prams and are made to feel extremely welcome, food is fresh and changes each week.Thank you ladies will defiantly be back ๐
As a weekly interstate traveller I rely on google maps recommendations for best breakfast. I can see why Rosies is highly rated. And yes Bacon Bene was exactly what I needed after a big night. She knows how to cook bacon to perfection and big portions. I think she saw me coming ๐
Really friendly family feel to it, staff were very warm and relaxed. Our meals were tasty (highly recommend the beetroot relish, it really brought the food up a notchand INSANELY large...definitely kept us going until tea time.
Great coffee, delish scrambled eggs and bacon and eggs benedict. Lovely staff. Baby, pram, breastfeeding and kid friendly. I will definitely tell all of my friends and patients at my chiropractic clinic to visit this lovely cafe.
The eggs benedict was so delicious I had to go tell the chef. "Truly, this is the best eggs benedict I have ever had." The chef ended up being Rosie, the owner, herself. We had a very friendly chat. She takes great pride in her cooking ("its my passion"and also uses very fresh local ingredients. "I know the chickens who laid these eggs." We are visiting from the U.S. and are extremely impressed with this hidden gem of a place. The quinoa fruit bowl was also very delicious. Well be back.
Always tasty, with excellent coffee, and friendly staff. Glad weve finally got an awesome local coffee shop.
