Was very good , stayed here a few times , hit and miss.Needs updating. Service and food could improve .

Rose View Hotel is a traditional hotel of our Sylhet. It looks beautiful as well as its environment is very charming. It is located on the northern side of Point, a suburb of Sylhet city. Very good quality rooms are available here as well as good quality food of the country. The behavior of the staff here is very good. The food quality is excellent, I think its good for a buffet, which has 70+ items. Normally dignitaries of the country stay here. Players and MP ministers of different countries stay here.Also there is swimming pool facility. I really like it.

Great accommodation and Nice Behaviour of all Person.

Hotel staff breached privacy by entering my room while I was changing using master key in the name delivering fruit basket. I could not get chance to respond after they knocked and the door was already opened. They said they have briefed housekeeping about it and will take action. I asked for a written apology which I never received neighther did the manager cared to call and apologise after I complained at the front desk. Their doors do not have security locks from inside, so this is a high risk to privacy. I never faced such awkward situation anywhere even at cheaper hotels I stayed across the globe.

5 start hotel of sylhet it might be a bit expensive but if you have the money then must visit place .it has a bar a pool and other activities to enjoy while your stay a night or two here .and the rest is to explore yourself.

If you are planning on going to their 1200 BDT per head buffet then DON’T. They have only 8-9 numbers of main items and only 2/3 were good and fresh in quality. We were disappointed in starters and desserts too. Couldn’t find anything other than wonton and spring rolls in starters. In the main items, reshmi kabab had a strong rotten smell.Didn’t really expect such buffet experience from a renowned hotel and restaurant.

Food was really bad, Soup was extremely (chillihot. Thai style fried chicken was under cook. Chef has definitely changed and the quality of food is not The Rose View standard.Although the waiters service was excellent (Ripon Ahmed).As for food, I would not recommend it (its a NO GO ZONE).I think if the owner wants to keep some loyal customers they definitely need to up their game and get proper 5 🌟 CHEF.!!

In Sylhet, Rose View Hotel is one of the best place for hospitality. I like their approach.

Reception and staff were very polite and professional. Room was well furnished. Dining was awesome with various delicious food where taste was more than satisfactory. During my visit, Bangladesh cricket team players were present there too. I was lucky enough to be with them (Tamim, Mushi and Saifuddinat lobby and in the dining room area.

They employees at the reception should know how to behave with the guests. The valves at the bathtub dont work smoothly, the coffee sachets were already used when I entered the room. The fruit basket, coffee/tea sachets were not replaced the next day. If you are going for a business trip, it is very likely that you will enter the hotel around 6pm, which is their closing time for many facilities (i.e.: gym, rooftop, etc. ). It does not matter how much one asks for if the service is good; but, I do not feel the price range is justified with the service, amenities, facilities they offer. If I considered the price range, it would be a solid 1/5.---(ব্যবহার ভালো করার আগ পর্যন্ত ফালতু হোটেল)

Bathtub tap was not functional, switching valve was not functional. Its not just in my case, but also some of my fellow colleagues. Behaviour of all the stuffs are not up to the mark, even some cases worse. Another awful experience was, the rooftop was closed at 6pm, which is very nice place to enjoy after sunset. Even with several request to the management, they denied to open. This was really awful. You cannot deny the openness with the silly cause of security. If youre so concern, you should install the security apparatus. With the cost benefit ratio, Im undoubtedly stating this - "Awful Service"...!!!

I have stayed in this hotel many times and found its services are gradually deteriorating (mostly after COVID outbreak). It seems that, during COVID, Hotel management have reduced its manpower and also hired new and inexperienced people which results in poor service. Location of the Hotel is really good. You can go to any place inside or outside of Sylhet city easily from here as you will find it just when enter into the city through Dhaka- Sylhet highway. Hotel building is a good-looking 12 storey building with a swimming pool on the roof top. Lobbies and reception looks better as compared to other hotels of similar price rate. This is one of the top rated Hotel in the city with average room rent is 8000+ bdt. Room rent may vary depending on which time of the year you are visiting. Normally winter season attracts more tourists in this part of the country and consequently fares are also increased. Rooms are well furnished and so as the washroom. There are two restaurants in the hotel including one for buffet. Foods are ok (not so good, not so badand prices are slightly higher as compared to other popular restaurants in the city.

Absolutely safe and secured accomodations. Room and bathroom fittings are torned a bit for aging, but hotel service is good so far.

Had an official business there. And the overall service of the staffs were good. Its not a 5* hotel so you cant expect top notch service from them. But the location of the hotel is absolutely bad. They have a lot of traffic infront of them which actually is unfortunate for them.One major problem that should be mentioned is their parking. They are not at all good. At least for bike parking, I can share my experience. They told me to park and secure my bike myself. They are not responsible for anything. Which actually ruins their reputation. This should be taken care of.

This is a very good place to eat. The items are a bit costly but if you compare it with their food quality and behaviour, the price wont bother you much.

I have been staying at roseveiw recently very regularly and enjoyed my stay each time and will continue to stay as i really love this hotel , all my family members also stay here when they are passing by . On my recent stay , i experienced something unusual and reported to Member of staff while checking out . Instead of a simple reply like " we will get it looked into straight away. I was told to write my issue. Well so here I am writing , I am sure the reception staff know who I am . I have recently stayed while my daughter is having treatment at a hospital near by. I love rose veiw hotel and will continue to stay. Sorry for 1 star . This hotel deserves 7 stars . A single star is for the way my small complaint was handled.

This was one of the most horrible hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything is very dated; things haven’t been updated or fixed since hotel was built years ago.1. Refrigerator was missing and maneuver is fixed in scaring you, not serving you. the Safe didn’t work2. Bathroom is moldy and very old. There was water leak from toilet base.3. When we were moved to another room, water was leaking from the roof4. Shower curtains are very dirty and moldy5. The hallways are completely dark are after 10 pm, I mean pitch black. Had to use phone light6. The breakfast buffet is always the sameWorst was they caused a scene while checking out saying I needed to pay even though it was paid for by by travel agency. I paid with my credit card so I can catch my flight. Than it turned out they got paid and still wanted to gouge me. My travel agency has to send people later to get the charge reversed.Also no compensations were given even though the rooms had issues.Essentially the hotel management has no plan to serve. Only reason out seemed they happen to have crowds because they have liquor license. World have been awesome if they were planning to serve since the location it is in is really convenient.Try other hotel!!!

The lobby and open space is feels nice, quite comforting. But the rooms facing the void are not comfortable. Noises of lift annoyed me. Will try some other room placements future.

Breakfast was subpar, AC was old and took to long to cool, also did not have any remote. Room keys were malfunctioning sometimes. Entrance door is average. Not even near to a 4/5 star experience which they are charging for (almost 300USD for 3 nights)

One of the 5 star hotel in Sylhet City. They Have Friendly Receptionist who are so responsible to their own work. They always give their best to their customers. In ground floor youll find their shopping complex etc.

Rose view is one of the best 5 star Hotel in Bangladesh.They do have Big rooms, supportive and professional stuffs, offer Quality food. Rooms are pretty big and family friendly. Quite expensive but Excellent service in all aspects. Highly recommended.
