Rose Indian&Chinese family Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Ad Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Fantastic Indian food! The best place in SF! The food is truly delicious, not oily, the service is good and the place is cute! Super close to GGP! We love this place!!
We’ve been ordering from Rose for a few months now - we’ve never been in person - and they’ve become our go-to spot for tasty Indian food. I appreciate how consistent their dishes are - everything is delicious.Recently, we tried their malai kofta which was beautifully seasoned with (I thinkcaraway (or maybe fennel?seeds. I almost always get the Kashmiri chicken which is shockingly tender - it’s usually so easy to dry out chicken but this is very juicy.Great dishes for great value! 10/10 would recommend.
It’s actually spicy! And it also tastes good! Got tikka masala - hot 🥰
Service was wonderful. We asked about the serving sizes, and he could definitely suggest us not to order 2 naans plus rice, it is more than enough to have a singe portion of them for two people. We see the deliver guys show up ever few minutes for the remote orders. They are definitely busy. Every single table around as needed to get the doggy bag to take the leftovers. They could let us know that we will not need as many sides as we specifically asked about the size of the portions ahead.
Very good service good food. But...this restaurant should not be called vegan. They use ghee in some of their cooking.
I love love love this place for take out. Have been eating it almost once a month since the start of the Pandemic. They are great at making the food mild if you like it that way and Choodama always gets the food to our door while it’s still piping hot. My recs: palak paneer, coconut vegetable curry, butter chicken.
very fresh tasting today all … awesome .. spicy .. wonderful … keep it up and i keep ordering … tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, byriani.. naan raita everything was great
Great service and delicious food.Even the kids enjoyed it .A comfortable 15 min walk from the Academy of Sciences.
My family of four decided to have lunch at Rose Indian Restaurant after our visit to Cal Academy of Sciences. It was a easy walk about 13 mins.We enjoyed our lunch. The food and customer service was great. My 7 year old twins said this place is 2 thumbs up and 2 toes up! We ordered the papadam, tikka chicken masala, lamb shish kabobs, aloo gobi, garlic Mann, rice, chai, salty lassi, gulab jamun, and kheer. We enjoyed all the dishes. This will be are go to spot for lunch when we go to SF to visit the Museums in Golden Gate park.
Great Food. Naan like I have never seen before. All items were great. They give a big portion.
Excellent Indian cuisine! We had chicken curry, chicken tiki masala, samosas and naan bread. This was the best naan bread we’ve ever had. The staff is so friendly and caring! They really wanted us to enjoy our experience. Highly recommend. All seating here was indoor seating- there was no outdoor seating that we saw. It was not crowded in the late afternoon on a weekday- we did not have to wait for a table.
I was very excited to try this place. This was about 2 months ago. I ordered butter chicken, rice and Naan bread. I am usually asked when its spicy how spicy do I want it...not this place. I ordered it to go and when I got to eating it. It was extremely spicy. It was so spicy I could not continue eating it. Advice to the owner if you are gonna by default make the dish spicy let it be known to the customer. Never again will set foot at place.
Ordered the spicy momos and coconut curry. Curry was good but the filling inside momos were undercooked almost like it was thawed from the fridge . Disappointed
One of the best North Indian restaurants in SF! The chai is *amazing* - would highly recommend ordering. The naans are huge so check out pics so you know how much to order. The chicken tikka masala is phenomenal and Im usually super picky when it comes to CTM -- definitely recommend!
The food was amazing and authentic! The atmosphere was very hospitable and welcoming, and the staff was very patient, kind, and helpful. Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever tasted! Definitely a must-try for those in the San Fran area. They even have gluten-free naan! Such a good place.
Make sure to visit this restaurant if you are in San Francisco! The food was amazing and authentic and our waiter was the perfect balance of friendly and professional. It was wonderful!
Absolutely amazing service and the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten! Soo good 20/10 recommend for sure
Really enjoyed it. Large portions, as well as great customer services. The garlic Naan was to die for😊
The selection is amazing, and I had a chicken tikka mosala, I was licking my plate in the end it was amazing. And the naan bread was the BEST naan bread I’ve ever had. Will definitely be coming back. New fav Indian.
SOOOOO good!! Amazing staff, quick service, super tasty food! Great prices… the Naan was the best I’ve ever had! Tadka dal was also amazing. Butter chicken, everyone loved their meals!!
Everything we ordered was super delicious 👌🏽 Excellent service and very friendly staff!Loved how they explained what every dish was. Background music was pleasant 👍🏽
Best customer service I have ever had. Amazing waiter, beautiful smiles all around, great energy. They are so observant, mindful and aware of everything that needs to be done and peoples needs. The food was amazing and the best Indian I’ve ever had.Sincerely one of the greatest restaurant experiences.Ratings are hard because sometimes people have bad days and others don’t understand that, so they give them bad ratings, but I promise you this place makes you feel like royalty. They even helped an elderly homeless man with Down syndrome to the bathroom. It was precious and made my heart sing.
We were visiting San Francisco from the Stockton area and decided to dine in before leaving the city. We ordered vegetable tikka masala, plain naan, basmati rice and an order of samosas. Unfortunately, none of the food was earth shattering. We had high expectations when we went in and we were let down. We instructed vegetable tikka masala to be a bit spicy but it instead tasted sweet. Samosas were very bland and probably the least tasty Ive had. Cant say much about the rice because I bought them for my son and didnt have them. Then my mom asked for some pickle and I later discovered on my bill that they actually charged us for the pickle. I didnt expect this although I didnt fuss over it and paid the bill. The only thing we liked about this place was the gentleman who was running the show. He was kind and considerate. His service was the only reason I tipped him handsomely. However, this sort of deterred me from eating in SF from now on as reviews can be overrated.
One of the best I went to. It’s quick, good and the personal is nice. A looot of vegetarian or vegan options are available. You can go without any hesitation.
Chicken Chili,, chicken tikka masala, Lamb Vindaloo and Everest chicken Momo were tasty and delicious. Tandoori Roti, Naan and garlic Naan were hot off the oven and we enjoyed all the dishes. Mango Lassi was chilled and refreshing. Server and the service were amazing. We will definitely return to this restaurant when we are in San Francisco area.
Good customer service and delicious food.
Really good Sag Paneer and Dahl. Nice spice and always fresh. One of my favorite Indian take-outs.
its been a couple years since I went to this restaurant and the food was not as good as it was before.the chicken tikka masala had this weird flavor like they use powdered milk or powdered cream or something and it tasted kind of cheesy. the tomato that they used for it also seems like its canned and not fresh and I did not taste any fresh tomatoes in it. I make chicken tikka masala myself at home and my version tastes a thousand times better than this restaurants version and only cost a fraction of the price. the portions of spices they used in the tikka masala was not correct and it was also not cooked long enough to allow the spices to get into the sauce.the salmon tandoori was overdone. it was all black on the outside when they delivered it. aside from that the inside was really dry and the fish was not fresh. the onions had the right flavoring but they were missing the garam masala sauce that goes over the actual fish so the whole meal was kind of dry.the lamb chops was actually done okay even though it was also overdone and black on the outside. they had onions and lemon at the bottom for favoring.the biryani rice was cooked to the right consistency but it was pretty plain to me. the only dressing they did with it was putting a few peas on the top. usually at other restaurants they spice up their biryani rice and it tastes a lot better. Im just glad they at least cook the rice to the right consistency.the papadum was actually done okay. you cant really go wrong with papadum. although the waiter did forget about my second order of papadum but it was okay because they let us have it for free.I also drank a mango drink but I feel like they added some extra stuff into it because it was really thick and tasted kind of chalky, they put some kind of filler in it in order to give it more volume. I do not recommend the drink.I didnt really have any of the naan but judging by the fact that my family did not want to take it home I feel like it was not very good. the consistency of the naan was anywhere from thin to thick. it reminded me more of a pizza crust than naan.the service was pretty good though the waiters kept asking us if we needed anything and asking us how we were. there was no polite way of communicating to them the quality of the food while were eating there, less chance of them messing with our food.the restaurant is kind of empty at the moment so you can probably find seats but most people order out, I think my family counted about 30 people getting take out while we ate there.
Clean establishment, enticing aroma upon entry, plenty of diners, really fresh food, attentive staff and many flavorful dishes from which to choose. It was my first time there BUT definitely will not be my last.Vegetable pakora was tasty and not greasy; kabuli naan was sensational (I could probably just make this my entree—😁); vegetable biryani had plenty of colorful vegetables that were cooked just right (still crunchy). I am glad I discovered this “gem”.The challenge I now face is that since I really enjoyed today’s food, I’d be prone to order the same food next time. However, with such an extensive menu, I will have to be intentional about trying something different.I also noticed many orders being prepared for pick up or for delivery. So, if you’re not ready to dine in person, ordering for delivery is a great option.Hours of operation are 10 am to 10 pm every day.
Our go-to Indian restaurant! Wish we found this place sooner. Great service and delicious food. We love the chicken dumplings, butter tikka masala, and garlic naan. Can’t wait to go back!
Ten stars. Seriously. Tandoori mixed platter (no salmon for me). Also chili chicken (requested face-melting-hot and they obliged)The struggle here is avoiding hyperbole while remaining accurate; Ingredient quality, quantity, recipe, cooking, and presentation were literally perfect. Best meal I can remember, possibly ever. Only complaint is it will haunt my dreams. Was looking forward to returning before I even left. And yes service was tip top. None of this seems like adequate praise either. Obviously a must-try. 👏👏
A true rose of the neighbirhood! Delicous, authentic, and varied menu with many dishes I dont typical see on Indian menus. Friendly staff with cultural ambiance for dine-in
Our favorite Indian place so far. The service is excellent with very tasty food. We ordered the dumplings, butter chicken curry and naan bread. Everything was so good.
Amazing food, diverse menu, excellent customer service. This place never fails to impress me. Perfect place to take your family and friends, I highly recommend it.
Food was delicious! The people coming in for pick up orders was nonstop, which if youre sitting by the door is a constant breeze but I didnt care because the food was too fast. We had the Himalayan Thali for 2, it was great. The portions were good, maybe even for 3 people. It was my first time tonight and I will defiycome back.
Excellent curries, biryani, and appetizers. We also had the chicken momo which were very tasty. A friendly neighborhood restaurant thats definitely worth checking out.
Delicious, authentic Indian food- all four in our party got something different. My medium-spiced lamb curry was awesome, though the Chana masala may have been over-spiced for the one in our party also ordering medium. We also tried Lamb tikka masala and Baigon Bharta, both mild. The rice and garlic naan were not included, but both delicious! Rice was needed for us eating the spicier meals. Very pleased and would highly recommend.
This is one of the best Indian restaurants in San Francisco! Food was amazing and ambience was also nice.
Ordered chicken and lamb Biryani, both tastes like rice mixed with chicken/lamb curry. Its no good, also we found this green pepper with label on it.
I do apologize I forgot the name of all these delicious dishes. If you are in the area it is a must try. The food was so taste and the service was amazing. The worker was alone and he still managed to get all our dishes out in a timely manner. I will most definitely come back to this restaurant when we are in the area.
Ordered chai tea, vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala and naan bread.Chai tea and samosas were excellent.Chicken Tikka Masala portion was very good, but the sauce had way too much cream in it that covered up the other flavors. The Naan bread was supposed to be buttered, but I could not taste any butter. Service was good. Overall a good experience, but the food is a little off to warrant 5 stars, definitely a solid 4 stars
I ordered off their site and it was ready in about 15 minutes. The site also has a $25 minimum. I had the naan, veggie pakora and the eggplant. The naan was pretty good. The other two dishes were pretty decent, not best I’ve had but still good. Definitely one of the better Indian places I’ve tried in inner sunset. I’ll probably be back again.
This is not authentic Indian food - Paneer Tikka masala was just average. This place opened in place of a Nepalese restaurant and the ownership moved to their son, Taste is the same just with a different menu.
Very good Indian-Nepalese food. Definitely the best in the neighborhood. We got some biryani, chicken tikka masala and fish pakora to start. The fish pakora was very tender and a large portion. The biryani was also very large portion and lots of nice spices. We got the tikka masala with medium spice and there was no spice at all, so dont be afraid to get more spice here. The naan is made there and very good, highly recommended! The service is great and we got a nice rice porridge dessert at the end for free! Highly recommend trying this place.
This place is awesome. Chef Om is conscientious about sourcing ingredients. Food is fabulous — mango lassi nummy. TIP; They open at 10:30am if you need your fix early.
The food is great here, the service is very warm and welcoming, they seem genuinely happy to see you. If in the area I would definitely go back. Highly recommended!
Nice place with the real indian atmosphere. Food was really good and the waiters were really friendly, just a little but slowly. Food was ready on time but we were staring at our empty plates for a while. The same thing about paying. But overall great place and I highly recommend it!
The ambiance of this restaurant is nice. They have a variety of options of Indian food. I really liked the vegetarian momos. The palak paneer lacked flavour. Service was a little slow.
Very good place with good food. I will recommend my friends too to go and have food in Gorkha Kitchen
Really great Indian food. Wonderful service and cool ambiance. The food was pretty spicy, so be warned... Will definitely be coming back.
