Rorbua Pub - Gastropub in Harstad, Norway
The walls of the pub are lined with beers from all over the world, some are quite old and unique, it was nice to look over the label designs and countries of origin. The service could have been friendlier.
Had a great night here on Saturday, friendly staff..well some of them anyway!!
Great place to enjoy a draft and relax. Service is great! Highly recommend it
Does not care at all about their neighbourhood. They are playing loud music at 1 am. No chance to get a good sleep.Avoid this place.
Great beer, people and music
Loved it. Great atmosphere. Kjetil was playing. There was a sing-song vibe. Brilliant.
Nice pub with live music
Loved it, fantastic range of beers, great atmosphere and made to feel very welcome ❤️
Nice staff, old barn style venue
A lovely pub with live music. There was en entrance fee of 50 kr. Which was a shame imo since the beer is already pricy but the atmosphere was very nice.
Excellent service and such a nice atmosphere. Very warm and cosy inside. Really recommend this place! Loved the interior & food
Very nice pub next to the Radisson blu Hotel and near the harbor. Good live music, and nice norwegian draft beer. Prices are ok for norway 🇳🇴 12 euro for a large beer.
Cozy atmosphere and great live music - glad to have this place as our local while in Tromso
Super cozy, nice beers, friendly staff
Best pizza ever, lovly staf. Very nice place
Tasty music, not very loud. Good place for a bunch of friends who would like to chill and talk.
Great live music. The Mack Bayer beer is very good :)
Really enjoyed this place. As we were there during the the infamous covid-days, I felt like the place took good care to prevent infections and still provide a fun might out.We got our own table, ordered at the bar, and they came with the drink to the table. Thought drinking, people were following the guidelines and guards took a round every now and then to keep up with what was going on.When Im in Tromsø again, this will absolutely be a place I visit again😎🤘😁
Cozy atmosphere and decor. Staff frienly enough. Good music. Nice variety of beer.
Great atmosphere. Nice staff. You can order pizza from next door. Clean premises all around. We had a great time.
Fancy lil cozy bar perfect for a hangout with a bunch of friends. Special brownie points for the bartender who suggested us the best local beer and gave savouries on the house ;)
Beautiful aesthetic and some nice 80s music playing. Combined with very friendly bar staff and a good location, you couldnt really ask for more.
Nice cozy bar to make an appointment, beers on offer are very limited, the adbottles on the wall suggest differently. Other bars like Skarven and Ølhallen have much more Norwegian options than just one brewery.Would recommend to get rid of those breezers and stuff( hello it’s 2020and add some more defining taste.
Great place. Really I stopped to go to the toilet but ended up having a few more beers and a long chat with the bar manager. Not what we had been told about Norwegians being stand offish. Good interesting conversation and a nice atmosphere. Big stuffed polar beer in the lower bar.
Quite a number of taps featuring local brews. Good place to chill in Tromso centre! Conveniently located beside Radisson Blu Hotel
Not an entirely warm welcome from the bar woman, asked what the local lager was like, she didnt describe it so I asked for a small taste before I paid over ten pounds for a pint and she said no!!! Very surprised as this is standard politeness in the UK but apparently not in this bar. Despite this attitude the overall ambiance of the pub was nice, however having only sat down for 5 minutes we were then approached by someone saying that we had to pay to stay as they were having a band on!! Not the most friendly welcome on our first night in Norway, lets hope we find some friendlier locals.
Nice and warm, relaxing atmosphere. Although I imagine more energy when the music is on. I reccommend the ginger and chilli mack beer! 🌶🍺
Nice bar. Nothing else to report. Had a few pints and was nice. I was here on Thursday at 9.30, so maybe other times there is more atmoposhere. But usual beers and nice decor. I would not say no to this bar but it would not be my first choice.
This is a lovely warm and cosy place to stop by to refuel yourself on a day of exploring. A warm greeting by staff was the first positive of many. The girl holding the fort today was so friendly and I felt at home right away. The place is very well kept and has a very homely sort of feeling but also a very rustic feel too. The nachos were delicious and very filling. I feel I could be back again before I leave.
Great historic pub. And live music most nights!
Nice for a pub. Very expensive drinks (almost 15 us dollars for a beer). Tasty bar snack mix. Had some live music.
Beautiful waterfront setting. High prices as expected in Norway. We enjoyed the choice of beers.
A lovely cosy pub next door to the Radisson blu. Mostly wood decor with comfy seating and the obligatory dead polar bear. They have live music some nights.
Most famous pub in Norway 🇳🇴 with great selection of Tromsø beers 🍺 lovely food, we tried the Nachos 💚 and very good music!!! we had a lot of fun and laughs in a relaxing atmosphere, talking friendly with staff too.. the new location is around ten years old in modern building with beer cellar and rustic decoration from old location.. and the old location was open for fifty years and it was the place for a famous Comedy Show TV program!!! Definitely a place to go in Tromsø, the “Paris of the North” and the “Paradise of beer lovers” Thanks Rorbua for The Night of our trip ;7
Quite a nice pub, with a tap including alcoholic ginger beer! They also carry the menu from the pizza restaurant next door, which for one thing had excellent baked nachos.Well be coming back for the pizza.
Great place to grab a beer (Mack). And fine music at decent volumes too! Ideal if you are in the Radisson Blu or the Scandic Ishavns hotel. A sober walk from there to this cafe will take you 30 seconds. The way back might take a little longer though.
Went in during the daytime. Was quiet but immediately felt at home. Not stupidly expensive (comparativelyand a really relaxed atmosphere.
Excellent envinronment for you and your friends. Good food and drink. Well located, friendly staff
Friendly staff, nice busy vibe.... good selection of the local Mack beer....very good
Nice cosy place. Additionally, the bartender is friendly and suggested drinks towards our liking. On a side note, the cider is awesome.
We ordered nachos twice in an hour and a half, but they never came. This place is an obvious tourist trap, but I’d expect passable service.
Friendly barman who talked through some of the local beers and taught us a little Norwegian. We stopped to plan our adventure around tromso! Thank you!!!
As with all the pubs we visited in Norway clean friendly and good beer/lager but so expensive average £10 a pint 🍻
Loved it. Really cozy two stories outdoor seating and plenty space. Local beer mack only. Also you get some live music bands.
We stopped off in Tromso from a Hurtigruten voyage and found this wonderful pub right on the quayside. The prices are reasonable (for Norwayand the service is outstanding. The place has an old Nordic charm about it, free WiFi and a huge selection of beer. If you have been on an excursion, before you get back on the boat, visit this little gem. It’s well worth it!
Very good selection of beers and wines, including their own beer which is made in their micro-brewery that can be seen from the bar. Live music is no stranger to this place, almost every night there is someone talented playing there. With their cozy interior coupled with great atmosphere, its one of the most legendary and best pubs in Tromsø.
Dark cosy ambience with occasional live music. But beers are pricey and just regular Mack pilsners and such on tap.
This is a great place to grab a beer and some finger food after a day trip. Location is good, especially for Pokémon fans. Level 2 is quiet on Sunday night. Good for a rest. ambience is great. But NO WIFI! Google map location is wrong.
Very brown pub. Out was decent and it was fun to visit due to its history. The beer selection was rather limited
We showed up late on a Sunday and it was open at 1:30am. They had a live musician and a stuffed polar bear at the entrance. It had a nice atmosphere and decor.
