Friendly staff and good portions are what keeps me coming back. Lunch can be small servings however breakfast and the B&G are legit.

Stopped by on our road trip. Easy detour off the freeway. Fast, quick service. Food delicious. Recommend the monte Cristo. The freezer jam is simply top notch.

Good food, decent device. Good place for lunch when Pendleton or traveling along Hwy395. Had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes, nice flavor, large portion vegetables over steamed a bit. Overall a pleasant lunch

Great meal! We had strawberry lemonade, it was so good, we matched it with a BLT and a bacon burger. Fries were perfect as well. Service was fast and friendly.

An old fashioned diner with great food at a reasonable price! The service is outstanding. When traveling through Pendleton, we usually dine at Roosters. It was recommended to us by local residents, and did not disappoint. Just a short distance off of the freeway, and not far from lodging, so it is a convenient stop.

Our favorite restaurant to stop for lunch when traveling west from Boise. Their homemade chicken soup is delicious and perfect for a light lunch, on the road. My husband always gets the soup/salad and half a sandwich. He says its perfect for lunch.

Food is good, Ive only had my eh experience and every time I go servers are nice and friendly and not to pushy.

For the most part it was pretty good, never been there but was okay with breakfast and good options. They serve all meals all day that I might know.

This place is on the ball! Considering it was Round-up weekend I was seated quickly, served quickly and my food came out lightning fast! So attentive-someone other than my server noticed my credit card on the table and took care of running my tab, someone else walked by noticing my tab had been run and I had a plate full of food and offered to bring me a box. Received the customary check-in from my server on the taste of my meal.If you’re looking to get served quickly and get in and out fast I don’t think I could recommend a better place. Taste of the food? Meh… on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a solid 6.5. Not bad but not remarkable. Next time I’ll try somewhere else for a better tasting meal but the staff here definitely has their act together.

Came here for breakfast. Food was really good. Mostly standard breakfast fare with some standouts. It was really the service. Super friendly and not forced. Definitely had a system of getting things done smoothly!

The wait staff beyond amazing. The food fantastic. The chicken noodle soup absolutely the best. I have never been before but if I lived near I would be back regular

The staff was super friendly and the service was good! Unfortunately the food is pretty bland, got a mushroom burger that they apparently did put salt on, looking around I see alot of seniors so guessing maybe the lack of salt is because of the older crowd, but it kind of ruined the burger for me, otherwise it would have been pretty good. The chicken noodle soup was good though, but it was $5.99 for about half a coffee cup full so a little spendy. Probably wont be back, as I like taste in my food, but for older folks this might be a winner,they have a large menu and the wait staff was awesome.

Great experience!!! Driving thru from Washington on our way to New York and ordered some breakfast. It was way too early, to eat THAT amount of food!!! The portions were a lot!!! Definitely worth the money. They make their own pancake batter and even their own syrup. Even their Omelettes were very tasty and huge!!! What I liked was the fact that they put a thermos of coffee so I didn’t have to wait to get a refill, I just leisurely filled my coffee when I needed more coffee. The waitress Reina was very friendly and conversational. She did warn us about the food portion, unfortunately we didn’t listen. Haha. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re hungry. I mean really hungry. 😉

Ordered @ 1:55 and the waitress rushed to get my breakfast order in before 2 pm. Everything was great. My husbands drink was never empty. Looking forward to coming back!

Stopped here on a road trip. Really nice staff! Had meatloaf sandwich on rye with bacon jam and it was really good. Also clean restaurant.

Chicken Stip lunch. Large pieces of moist white meat, delicious breading, excellent seasoning, with the perfect amount of crispness. I brought a friend with me, It was his first time trying it and he strongly agreed, it was amazing.

Wonderful selection and the service was amazing! Loves the chicken/country fried steak 😋 yummy. Wish we were staying over night so I could eat breakfast here.

Coffee was very good. Large breakfast portions. Eggs Benedict was good although the eggs were way over done, as were the hash browns. Biscuits and gravy was subpar. Friendly service.

My favorite restaurant in Pendleton! I honestly cant imagine why somebody would give less than 5 stars. Let me start with, I moved here in January from Alaska. The land of halibut. Roosters halibut is outstanding quality. Even the portion size of it is larger than one you would get in Alaska. The batter is perfect and not over-seasoned. I also order the shrooms and sometimes the spinach & artichoke dip. Their appetizers are amazing. Roosters always has consistent quality and thats great. The prices are a great fare considering our current economy.

If you are in the area make sure to stop! The food is amazing and so are the staff. You can tell what an awesome place it is by the happy customers. Im looking forward to the next time Im passing through.

Love it and the food Marcus our waiter was great!! I did have am idea though for Sundays after a big event in Pendleton to just do "Buffet Style" and then you dont have to worry so much about staff when short handed. 😊

The customer service and family friendliness of the paper on the table and crayons were so great. We took a long road trip and stopped at Roosters both on our way out and on the way home. The friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere were so nice after many hours of driving! Prices are also very reasonable. I just wish there were more healthy options - especially on the kids menu. We try to avoid eating a lot of fried food and are always happy to see healthy choice options for the entire family.

The waitress was super-efficient and very nice and polite. And the cook did a great job on our prime rib dips. Worth every penny we spent. a Very nice atmosphere. If were ever back this way, we will stop again

This place is amazing. The prices you pay is worth it. You get a great amount of food and omg it tastes amazing. The chicken fried steak is to die for yummy. The staff is amazingly kind. We will come back if we are back in Oregon. Thank you so much

Highly recommended place to stop for dinner while on the road! Great service, friendly staff and our Cobb salads were perfectly presented and delicious The perfect break for us before we continue down the road a couple of more hours. They even offered us water to go!

Rib tips shouldn’t be on menu they don’t know how to make them, tasted like cheap beef and they left those small bones on it which leads to a lot a fat. Nice bacon sandwich, but anyone can make that good. We may try again but not going out of the way. Good service though. Tips really ruined my afternoon with a horrible taste in my mouth. Most places cut rip tips so that’s what they are when you get them little morsels of great goodness. Not some honey slab of fat! Here they just cut the whole end off ribs and skip making them real rib tips. So they are really just cheap pork steaks with lots more fat than I am use to.

I have been stopping here for about 5 years. The food and service are top notch. They have learned,through Covid, to seat customers in a spaced out manner so that service doesnt suffer. We had to wait about 5 minutes even though tables were empty, but because of this the serve was right there to get our drink orders then our food orders. The kitchen was not overwhelmed, so our food came out hot and at the same time. A lot of restaurants could learn from Roosters.i highly recommend you stop here for a great meal at a reasonable price.

I love this place the food was amazing and the staff were great.

Simply 2 for breakfast. It was busy....we ordered our meals, waitress stated our meals were up soon, then came back 3 more times (throughout a 35 min period of time), repeating meal was coming soon. After receiving a coffee, a juice and a diet coke, we watched as 3 other groups of 2, a family of 4 came in, ordered and received meals and had time to eat and leave. Waited 5 more minutes, then upon telling the cashier we were leaving, waitress told us the meals were just about ready. No real reason for poor kitchen performance or why order was left out...just a $10 bill for a coffee, juice and soda. Simply, poor customer service and excellent lip service. Good news..at least COVID was not used an excuse!

I was seated fast, and the server was very friendly even though the staff was stressed out due to the high volume of customers. Ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage and eggs. Both the biscuits, and sausage were certainly above average, and very flavorful. I would certainly stop back in again next time I’m in the area.

I used to eat here when I lived in Pendleton 20 years ago. I liked the down home atmosphere. Just had breakfast there and I had forgotten about their homemade biscuits... How could I?Nice to see the same comfortable atmosphere. Very friendly service. Food was fantastic. I dont get to Pendleton much anymore but if I do, you can be sure Ill be stopping by here for breakfast.

Dont go to Dennys! The food, staff, and family accommodations are better here, and this place is local! This place has character! They post all the locals rooster drawings up on the wall right when you walk in. People "clucking" love this place! There is also a kids menu hen house... what?... If you walk inyoull see a freezer loaded with ice cream. The kids loved that on the way out. 5 stars for breakfast and dinner. Been there twice.

Had breakfast: The Rooster, The Ultimate Rooster, and pancakes. Food was delicious and the service exceptional. It is a cute theme and very comfortable eating environment.

We came in from out of town and I have the best service ever! Rena was our server and made us feel very welcome and was just amazing! Her customer service skills are above and beyond and very impressive. The food was filling and came out really fast too. Also delicious. On our last visit we had a party of ten and they were able to get us seated quickly and in a comfortable spot. The food came pretty quickly and was very good. The waitress did a great job and was very sweet. The kids always enjoy going to the hen house after our meal to get an ice cream dessert!

This place was super cute and I would consider going back. The prices were decent and nice waitress. The chicken little was simple and good service. I am a little disappointed on meat portion due to being only half a patty. Several errors occurred, one by waitress and one by cook. What was asked for, were forgotten. The table got a pitcher of coffee which I found convenient when wanting more coffee without waiting for a refill.

Really good food. Chicken Noodle soup had homemade noodles and not salty or greasy. Side salad was very fresh with Romaine lettuce. Husband had Grilled Turkey Bacon sandwich and it was nice size and great. Staff was friendly and prompt, food came out quickly.

Wow! After the nightmare that we experienced last night at a certain corporate breakfast and pie chain, this place is a gem!!!!Friendly, prompt service, drink order taken immediately. Food order taken quickly. Food arrived like ten mins later -- everything was cooked to perfection!!!The food was OUTSTANDING!!!!! Best breakfast Ive had in ages. The veggie Eggs Benedict was delicious. The homemade biscuit and freezer jam is to die for. My entire family was incredibly satisfied with our meals. My 7 year old said "This is the best restaurant food Ive ever had."Our server was very sweet and helpful. Not one negative word to say about our experience.We will be back tomorrow for breakfast. 🍳🥐 🥞And maybe later for lunch and dinner. 😀

If you’re not a huge eater, maybe think of sharing. Food is really good— best French toast I’ve had in a while. Huge sausage links. Enormous omelette. Worth the price, but make sure you come famished!

My family and I ate here on our way through town and it was amazing! The onion rings are fantastic and a great place for large families with kids. The kids meals also come with ice cream that the kids can choose from the blue bunny ice cream box which is kind of fun! Staff was very friendly! We will definitely eat here again!

Choose roosters because of their rating on Google. Pros definitely was the food and portion sizes. Cons was the the less than friendly blunt service. Also the craft paper they set on our table before eating. Just wash the table and give the option to either have it or not. The tap water served was very chlorinated. Dirty glass partitions between tables. Felt rushed to order and to leave once we were done. Still the food was great. Homemade jam, pancakes were huge, and hash browns were homemade as well.

A little bit away from the off ramp but WELL WORTH IT! We all ended up having the chicken fried steak, soooooo good! Definitely worth the stop! Kidos had mac and cheese, tried their fries that came it. They were great! generous portions all around. Place got recently renovated. Everything was nice and clean. Staff was super friendly. So... A definitely a must of you have some time to sit down and enjoy some good food!

This place is AMAZING! Drove through this town on a road trip to Seattle from Utah, and we had to change our route home to stop back here on the way back. Amazing food, great service, and good atmosphere. The Creme brûlée was great and served in a cute mason jar! Highly recommend for anyone wanting home style American food!

Very cute and casual. You could say its quaint. The staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food was amazing, I had a grilled halibut that comes with fresh, REAL mashed potatoes! It was seasoned perfectly and lightly breaded. The chicken noodle is made fresh daily with homemade noodles, just like moms. Well have to save room for dessert next time.

Traveling across country we found this little gem. I give it 5 stars for the service and type of home cooked feel. Chicken noodle/dumpling soup is amazing and I am not a soup person. Service was friendly and food was tasty. Good portion as well. Will be back next time I drive through.

This restaurant has a very unique menu that I was pleased to see. I ordered the Corn Field French Toast and bacon. The meal was prepared very well, although it was not to my liking. I found I dont care for crunchy french toast, but for those who like a crunch to their meal it would be a good one to try. The bacon was phenomenal, and the waitress was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. The table is prepared with paper and crayons for drawing, and at the register they have really great drawings up on the wall for all to see. When traveling through town I will go here again to try other unique items they offer. Roosters also offers a rewards program.
