Rooster - Coffee shop in Cancun, Mexico
One of the best places to have breakfast! The prices are a little bit high but the quality of the food and the environment worths it.
Great breakfast and friendly service! It was fantasticRecommended!
Amazing authentic breakfast wow
Can I believe this place has that many positive reviews my experience was total trash! The food was atrocious and so was the service! They had the nerve to serve me a $10 burger thats supposed to have a side of roosters potatoes, which is literally three tiny burnt potatoes that are cold. They were not unapologetic or really caring about providing excellent experience!!!
Very nice restaurant, great service and the food was delicious!
The food was.. ok. Overpriced do this quality.I had to use the restroom, but apparently theirs was out of order. When we got the bill, the waitress had hand written an extra 20% for service. This is very unprofessional but I was in no position to argue, as I needed to find another restroom in short order.
The food was nice and the staff very friendly. Can recommend to try out the milkshakes. The menue was very egg heavy.
Food and service was really good. Not too expensive. Yensedi served us. She was nice and accommodating despite the fact that I dont speak much Spanish.
Good coffee and great food
Nice small location. Overly priced for food that was OK not highly flavoured well. The toast was so hard I was eating dry breadcrumbs. I was so disappointed for the amount I paid for this food.
They have the bathroom locked and when my husband wanted to use it, they took him outside of the cafe and to a building next door, up a staircase and into a concrete hall where at last was a (lockedbathroom. They felt it was very important to tell him that he needs to lock it again. All of this while there was a bathroom 3 meters next to our table where I was previously allowed to go to :D. Coffee was good though!
The espresso was actually filter coffee. I asked for a bagel, but the bread was a torta lol. The french toast was probably made of torta bread as well. Super soggy. We also asked for an orange juice
Great awesome food and great portions at a decent price.
Came in for a simple breakfast and a takeaway sandwich for a day at the beach.I ordered huevos al gusto. Eggs, potatoes and a choice of meat (correct me if I am wrong but I can speak and read Spanish and you are supposed to receive your choice of meat, yeah?)No meat on my plate, just some scrambled eggs and some flavorless potatoes. I was asked if I wanted salsa. Yes. Salt and pepper? Yes.I was brought some habanero salsa (finally, some small semblance of flavor). Never received the salt and pepper.Halfway through my flavorless breakfast was brought a slice of toast. JUST a slice of toast. No butter, no jam, nothing. I inquired about the meat."Oh, that is extra."Okay then.Got my sandwich to go, paid and left.A while later at the beach I ate a very flavorless tuna salad sandwich. They didnt even put napkins in the bag (but did include a knife and fork?)One extra star given because the coffee was decent but I have a better coffee spot anyway. Wont return.
Pricey, but everything was so tasty. Before you order any drinks have a look at the menu, some combos include coffee.
Great food and amazing service!!
Over priced and pretty meh food with basic service. Huevos Rancheros had pretty weak flavor, overall disappointed and ended up down the street at Café Trova and had a much better experience not only in Cafe quality but food and price. Like an unwanted wake up call, the rooster isnt a welcome experience.
The food here was excellent and the service was superior. I would recommend this place to anyone. You can have breakfast until one oclock and from 11 to 1 you can have breakfast and lunch so it is perfect for everyone.
Prices went up from what the pictures showed so just a watch out. Outside of that service was good. Coffee was delicious. They give you a complementary toast. I got the rooster trio and the eggs and potatoes were good but the pancakes were super thin and super dry. Would not recommend the pancakes.
Delicious breakfast, delicious smoothies, great prices and service 💛 We went there twice during our stay in Cancún. Recommended!
Good spot to sit have a coffee and work. Wifi is decent, you can have calls on it if you want. Sit outside though as there’s music inside. Food is good as well and friendly staff.
Tastes good, unique presentations and combinations. Not too expensive, the smoothies and things are only ok tho.
Came here for a quick take away breakfast. The coffees and cinnamon buns were great! Would definitely come back here for a more elaborate meal, because the breakfast plates looked very tasty.
Awesome breakfast food. Very amazing presentation. The Huevos Divorciados was extremely good.
Wonderfull breakfast, very nice food serving and the food was sooo delicious. Quiet a posh style food for ok prices. I definitelly recommend this restaurant.
Had a craving for waffles and rooster delivered.Good option for breakfast or in our case it was breakfast at 3pm. The staff are good.
Great breakfast option, a bit on the expensive side but the food is good
Excellent brunch place. The food was really good.
Can’t recommend the place. The food and coffee are ok. But they didn’t pay attention to my husband’s allergy and served the dish he couldn’t eat. Then they forgot about two other dishes. And in the end, they automatically added tips to the bill. Even so I said no tips.
Love the decoration. The varieties of food they have mexican food but american as well. Their coffee is great. Love the theme.
a nice place to have breakfast... nice service and great food. it is also convinient as one of us was a vegetarian and there are also vegetarian options. If in the area with no breakfast, its highly recommend
I had the Rooster Special, the food was excellent!! The potatoes were second to none my egg were just the way I like them. The coffee was truly gourmet. Service was outstanding. Atmosphere was great! I would give 100 Stars if possible. Definitely a place I will return to🙂
don’t miss this place if you’re in cancun centro, so many good things on the menu
Awesome breakfast! Great service and great food. I will definitely be back very soon. We ordered the veggie eggs Benedict and the creme brule French toast. Everything was yum.
Delicious foot and efficient service. Couldn’t fault it.
Everything is made fresh & you can tell!! It’s absolutely amazingly delicious you won’t regret eating here! I recommend a Jugo Rojo (Red Juiceit’s made of all red fruits it tastes good and refreshing. In the photo is the Nutella Waffle & a order of Cooked to order eggs that comes with 1 protein I choose bacon, and a Licuado (milkshakeof banana and strawberry.
Amazing service by Diego and great tasting food. We ordered the Trio Rooster with chorizo & egg and French toast. I haven’t had such a well made French Toast in a long time!Language: SpanishServer: Diego
If youre looking for a quick breakfast with great service with great prices this is the place! Great coffee and iced lattes. I got the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The amount of smoked salmon alone is more than what the whole plate was priced at! Best Benedict Ive had in a very long time!
Best eggs Benedict Ive had in a very long time! The amount of smoked salmon alone was worth more than the price I paid for the whole plate! Coffee, iced lattes and drinks were great. Amazing service and friendly staff. Will definitely come here again before I leave Cancun!
This is our third time this week eating here. Highly recommend it, they are super nice and the food is amazing. We have had breakfast every time. Honestly it’s the best place I’ve eaten in Mexico.
slow, food is very expensive even when compared to European / US standards, not tasty and staff was unfriendly. they gave us 2 little marmelade for 3 big hot cakes. i can not recommend this place
Good Frappuccino. Not too sweet. Good service. The brunch looks tasty at a good price.
This is one of the best places to have breakfast in Cancun. As a mexican I recommend the banana french toast and chilaquiles! Also, strawberry and banana milkshake with oats is the best!
Staff was very nice and helpful give us some tips how to get to the beach.Food was great big portion healthy. We could pay with Mastercard even that no sign is there that you could:)
Really good!! Enjoyed my B fast.
A really nice and cozy place for breakfast in Cancun Centro. Prices are a bit lower than breakfast in hotel and portions are huge.
Delicious food and awesome staff. Bread is so soft fresh out the oven or at least it tasted like it was, had the chilaquiles and they were good and not too spicy the iced coffee was 👍the only issue is that there is only 1 restroom available.
Cozy place great for breakfast and good portions.
Cute little place to grab some coffee and breakfast. Had the hazelnut frappe $65 Pesos and passion mango juice also $65. The drinks were legit and the ambiance as well as the service warm and welcoming.
Interesting coffeeshop proposal, hip and trendy interior design. Their focus is breakfast and Morning Joe. Would be outstanding of they train their Barista and improve their pastry offering. Missed a nice butter Croissant with my espresso.
