Rong Chinese Restaurant in Conway

Probably the best general tso chicken Ive ever had. And the lady in the kitchen made it extra spicy for me. The hot and sour soup was very good too. Def coming back.

I have ate at a lot of Chinese restaurants and this by far is the worst one Ive had. Im not sure if this was a one time thing but I ordered the happy family plate or whatever its called for 14.65 after tax. The food smelled just uncooked or that it was frozen for a long time.Not only that but the rice was hard and didnt taste right at all. Do you know how hard it is to mess up rice?

Average Chinese food. The lady that answers the phones is short and kind of rude. It might be a cultural thing so I try to keep that in mind. Food is average. Their sweet and sour sauce is the best Ive ever had though. Its very good. The S&S chicken though is sometimes not very fresh Its like they reheated it or drop it back in the grease. Their prices are very good too. Overall in my opinion just an average place. Jade China is the best. Sorry, not sorry.

Fast service and very polite! My only complaint is that I ordered the Spicy Triple Delight and it wasnt spicy, but I can understand that since were in the south they cant make food too spicy.My meal was still great and the fried dumplings are amazing!!

Never will I go back the food had a nasty taste and wasn’t what I order I ended up throwing it away nasty Chinese food I ever tasted

This place is a total sleeper! WOW! Awesome food! Just had a takeout order from there and it was so good. Best chinese takeout i have had in conway in a LONG time.

Paid 25.00 for that one dish w some extra sauce and it wasnt better than others in town. Prob not get it again.

very high quality cooking and preparation. very low quality meat. incredibly high temperature, which turned all the shrimp to rubber. fifteen minutes after receiving, its all still too hot to eat. And again, wow, the chicken and beef are the lowest quality possible. all cooked very well, but that is some very cheap meat used, so cheap its almost inedible

We recently moved to Conway but weve ordered food from here a few times...currently our favorite place to order take out! We love the food and portions! Now that we are locals I cant imagine how many more dinners well be ordering from Rongs in the future!

Just an average Chinese place.I ordered: House Special Soup; General Tsos Chicken; and Beef with Chinese Vegetables.The soup had very little flavor, and it seems like they just threw in one piece of variety of vegetables/meat chunks they offer.The General Tsos Chicken tasted like the sauce came out of a can, although the chicken was cooked fine.The Beef w/ vegetables was probably the best overall since the meat was tender and a lot of vegetables, but nothing special.

Awful.. found hair in food, and box was so soggy it got all over my clothes. Definitely the worst Chinese spot I’ve ever had.

The food was delicious!! It was definitely worth the money, which was reasonable as well. Want to eat there again whenever I get a chance

First time ordering. Lo mein, chicken and veg, and steamed dumplings were good. Also ordered fish ball soup, which I havent had since I lived in china 10 years ago ... Tastes just like it, so glad I came to the Rong place.

I ordered to go and although I did casually check my food. Once I actually bit into it. It was very old and dry. I got house rice.. the meats were hard and chewy. Which lets me know it was either old and/or had been sitting out for a long time (they had the audacity to actually serve it to a customer). I also got egg rolls.. the cabbage was molded and slimy. DONT EAT HERE... i’m sure they’ve violated numerous of health violations.

Ordered the chicken in garlic sauce as a takeout since near by, talk about being disappointed hardly any sauce and the big chicken pieces seemed they were made of rubber .The egg rolls were sub par .The egg fried rice was ok,have had better.Ended up just eating the fried rice.Ill stick my usual Chinese place, jin wei, way better quality.

The was a short wait time to get the food. The food it was great. There was a really large amount of food.The only problem was the the menu was hard to see.

If loving this place is Rong, I dont want to be right. Shrimp egg foo young - delicious. Pork fried rice - delicious. Fried dumplings - delicious. Service is always fast and courteous! Highly recommend!

Steamed vegetables were the best Ive eaten outside of Beijing. Perfectly done, perfectly sized. Menu has over a hundred options and some entrees have photos. Ill be back.

I love eating Chinese food but this was not good feed it to the dogs. The chicken teriyaki looked and tasted like it was made last month. I just put in the trash not good enough for the dogs. I would not place an order or dine in here. This restaurant is sending out terrible food in the week of the pandemic taking advantage of all the folks they are ordering online and the restaurant owners do not have to see them face-to-face.

Just picked up an order 35 minutes ago. They left one dinner out completely. The orange chicken was extremely spicy and my son couldn’t eat it. The moo go gi pan was watery and tasteless. The friend rice was scrunch and foul tasting. The savior of the meal was the lo mein.... that’s it! 43$ wasted for my family....

I ordered the Hot n Sour soup about 10 minutes ago. When I got home, I opened the container and ate. The soup accomplished the Hot part and seemed to have abandoned the sour or any spice in that matter. It was extremely bland and I cant say I have had soup this bad before.

The food is quality but the prices are amazing. Im able to feed my family of 5 for under 40 dollars regularly. The service is always exceptional. I have yet to have a bad experience from Rongs.

Food was tasteless. Had shrimp and lobster sauce, the sauce tasted like water. Maybe had 3 shrimp, couldnt find any lobster. The white rice had no salt or flavor. It was also very cold inside the restaurant so I ordered mine to go. Wont be going back.

Seemed like the typical strip mall place but the food was wonderful. Not at all what I had expected. The variety of soups was fantastic and the flavor was really fresh and tasty!My wife and I had the Chicken Noodle Soup and it was chocked full of chicken and lo-mein it was delicious!

Called in an order for shrimp lo mein, veggies, and some white rice. Went to pick up so can’t speak on the service but the food was delicious. They were pretty quick to get it done for us. We live about 15 minutes away and it was done by the time we got there (20 minutes from call placed, quoted at 10-15 minutesand it was still nice and warm when we got home. Very good. Will visit again.

Usually order delivery. Fastest, hottest delivery of any restaurant. Lots of protein vs vegetables unlike other places. Wonton soup has the best taste. Crab Rangoon(cheese wontonare the best in Conway. I will skip closer Chinese restaurants just for the soup alone.

The food tasted amazing, fresh and hot. Individual portions could feed a small family. Rong Chinese restaurant is the right place to eat. Order to go, eat in, or even delivery. And they have a drive thru.

Delicious! Ive lived in Conway long enough to have eaten from every Chinese restaurant in town many times. Rong is top notch, and my go-to for Chinese take out.

Just had Rong delivered for the first time. The portion sizes are really good, the food tastes great, they got here 15 minutes earlier than the website estimated, and the man who delivered it was nice. I’m always kind of nervous trying new chinese restaurants because you never know what you’re getting, but I will for sure be ordering again soon.

I use to cook in a Chinese restraunt, so the last star is based on respect. We always get the food delivered. The food is always hot, fresh, and I can confirm it is made to order...not just scooped out from other a heat lamp. The delivery is always fast, and thus we tip them generously. They deliver the food themselves so you dont have to worry about a 3rd party communication.My only complaint, and this is fair, is that they use the same styrofoam containers that all the other restraunts use. The fresh, hot food melts the containers, and often glues them to one another if stacked. Petty complaint, but true none the less.

I ordered delivery from them and the service was horrible all around! When the delivery man got here, he banged on my door so hard that the pictures fell off of the wall next to my door. Then when I get my order, it was not even correct! And to top it all off, there was 2 pieces of hair on the top of my food! I called and complained and they did nothing to fix it. Not even a simple apology. Save your money!

Amazing all the way around. Doesnt look like much but the food is awesome and they are quick to serve. Everything is made fresh when you order. Highly recommend.

Ordered the food online & paid for it thru their website. We live about 3 miles from the restaurant & the food was delivered hot & fast. It was delivered 30 minutes faster than they projected. Will definitely order from them again.

The building itself is slightly rundown, but the woman who must own it was so accommodating. We ordered lo mein and wontons, and the wontons were some of the best Ive had. I still believe, however, that China Cafe in Fayetteville serves the BEST noodles. Yall should check it out!!

Good friendly service, the food came out quick. I wasnt the biggest fan of my meal. However, I will try again.

Just went there to eat. It was horrible!!!! They had a 12 year old serving us. We didnt get everything we ordered which was the best part since we didnt pay for more crappy food. I ordered unsweetened tea and was told their unsweetened tea was still sweet but it was actually ruined. I think so was the pork they used. Dont eat here unless you wanna waste money and probably get food poisoning.

Love love love this restaurant so much. I usually get delivery and it is very fast. I usually order the chicken fried rice, egg rolls, and fried dumplings. I have never been disappointed everything gets here hot and fresh.

No! I thought it would be ok since most hole in the wall places are.. but my pad thai chicken was so soupy and the chicken was so thin that it looked like chicken skin and just flopped over. The service was poor-had to walk to the front desk to place my order and check out because noone was visable.. never again!

The Mongolian beef was great, I got more fried rice than 2 grown men could eat in one sitting, I’m telling y’all Jesus himself must have reached down and deep fried my egg rolls. I believe after the 2nd time of eating there today I can honestly say, eating at rongs never felt so right!!! I give it a 10!

So I ate at Rong Chinese today..... let me tell you one thing I believe Cheif Ramsey himself made them egg rolls. Them egg rolls was so good it was like Jesus came down and created them himself. The fried rice was great also. But and I do mean but them fried chicken wings had to be hand picked by the Chinese President himself. Hands down it was just the best I have ever felt since I won the corndog eating contest.

Very good. Large portions. Will cook to your liking and I like my rice spicy and hold the msg in the meals. Plus it has a drive thru.

This really is the "Rong" Chinese restaurant. The food is disgusting, my entire family says Im not allowed to order from here anymore. Ive had a number of items from the menu on different occasions and it is all basically hog slop... perfect for Arkansas Razorback fans, I guess. However, if you actually have taste buds, go somewhere else or order out from another restaurant. It is truly the worst food I have ever eaten in my life, the first time I ordered from here I had to throw it away after the first bite. Not even the dog would touch it. The vegetables were floppy and almost rotten, the soup had to have been a week old, and the mapo tofu looked and tasted like it had been pureed in a moldy blender all day... Its supposed to be a solid dish and it came in a bowl like the soup, with about the same consistency. The appetizers were soggy and cold, they forgot the egg rolls, and they wouldnt give a refund for them or bring the order after I called. Not only that, but I live three blocks away and it took them an hour to deliver on a Monday afternoon during off hours. Theyre also very rude over the phone, like they dont even want your money. Indulge them in that, for your own sake.

These guys rock. Great food and they know what they are doing. You get so much. Spend $20 and they will make it worth your while. Gerald Parenteau and I got a ton of food and some dude brought it to us. Hardly spoke a bit of English but we could tell instantly that he was cool. Good to see after that place sat there for so long that it is up and running again.

Without a doubt the WORST chinese Ive had in town. General Tsos chicken tasted like sulfer and the chicken teriyaki tasted like buffalo sauce. When ordering chinese, dont pick the Rong place.

Ordered 2 lunch specials, 1 Curry beef, 1 Shrimp with Vegetables. went to pick up and was given wrong order. Went back and picked up correct order. The egg drop soup is a color I have never seen before, has a heavy oily feel and no flavor. Fried rice was undercooked and bland. Curry was spicy but did not taste like curry. Will not be going back.

I ordered my food an hour ahead of time online and when I arrived to pick it up everything was hot and freshly cooked. I had the General Tso, which was actually spicy, and it had just the right amount of kick. The cheese wontons were delicious and freshly cooked as well. Will be trying them again.

Portion size was fine, price was cheap, and service was fast. However food didnt taste very good. I guess you get what you pay for. We probably wont be back again.

The service is okay. They are still learning, but very friendly! Make sure you know what you want, and ordering! The food was really flavorful, and was ready fast! I will be back.

I am already not a fan. Oh god I love my Chinese food but the guy that answered the phone assured me I should stick with new china..a friend of mine at work ordered some shrimp noodles from here, I couldnt wait to get me some. I called to order and ask for the white noodles with shrimp. He goes idk what that is..I explained not lo mein, but the thin white noodles. His voice was dry very non enthusiastic and you would think a new buisness would have tried to educate me or help me figure out what it was...I have only seen two types of noodles so it wouldnt have been to hard if they wanted my buisness...called New China Said the same thing and they new exactly what I was talking about...
