Romeo's Italian Kitchen - Italian restaurant in Missoula, United States
We routinely dine at Romeos (including take-out), as often as once per week, and the fact is, Id give them SIX (6stars if it were possible! I dont know just how theyve accomplished it, but in this challenging Covid/post-Covid period, when countless restaurants across the state and nation have been forced to close, or suffered significant losses in both workers and overall product quality, Romeos has somehow continued to thrive, consistently offering decent portions of good, wholesome, high-quality meals, at reasonable prices. For that alone, the ownership, management and employees of Romeos, all deserve serious accolades, because it is NOT easy out there right now for businesses. So kudos to Romeos! Thank you, for hanging-in there and staying strong.
2.5 hour wait to recieve 3 out of 4 entrees we ordered in the restraunt. Worst experiance i have ever had here.
Chicken AlfredoMeat sauce lasagna (great flavor)Chicken Parmesan on angel hair pasta two chicken breasts, juicy and crispy.Bottled local microbe brewed beers were fun to have before dinner.Best spinach artichoke dip ever according to my party. The server was very busy and handled her tables service and was communicative with the kitchen. Was helpful and requested the lasagna to be rewarmed.
Havent been there in a few yearsThey must have done a little remodeling, looks nicer. The Alfredo sauce seemed a bit heavy, but shrimp was great. The cherry, chocolate huckleberry cheese cake was awesome!!Tile floor and small space still makes it a bit noisy when busy
Is much nicer than when we were there 3or 4 years ago. Great dessert. It was the dessert of the month. Strawberry cheesecake with cherries and chocolate chip bites. That was the whole thing that wrapped it up. Also great chianti. Try it for sure 🍷
We travel through Missoula once every 6 weeks or so and get into a rut eating at the same restaurant. This time we decided to look for something different and stumbled upon Romeos Italian Kitchen. Wow, we are so glad we found this gem and it will be our new "rut" for a long time to come. From the time we set foot inside it was evident this is a special place. The food is all made to order. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and my wife had the 5 cheese lasagna. Both were outstanding and the price is very reasonable. Our server, Olivia, did a fantastic job.Do yourself a favor. Enter "Romeos Italian Kitchen" into your GPS and follow it. Youll be glad you did.
Five Cheese Lasagna! WOW! I’ve never tasted a lasagna this good! And it’s listed as Healthy Choice!
DELICIOUS AND WONDERFUL!One of the best choices for dining in town!We had Italian standards, seafood ravioli, bottle of wine, exceptional tiramisu and a wonderful anniversary - this is now our annual anniversary tradition! Thanks Romeos!!!!
Savory food and a great atmosphere. All of the ingredients were very fresh and our server Madison was amazing! We visited on August 3rd 2022.
Simple fare, made beautifully. Clean comfortable environment. Staff makes you feel welcome. Delicious sauces and desserts.
When we were walking in to the restaurant a gentleman said we looked like we had never been here before, You made a great choice. The food is amazing. He could not recommend anything because its all good!He was right. Our food was really good!Great atmosphere, if we are in Missoula again we would definitely go back.
First time there but wont be my last. Excellent choice of food on menu and it was delicious.
Food was phenomenal. Wonderful Italian fare. Extremely well done. Taste was out of this world. Staff was friendly.
Food was deliscious, service was good, and prices are unbeatable! Will definitely be back next time I am in the area.
We arrived mid-afternoon and had the room to ourselves. We were greeted right away by friendly staff. We both ordered lasagna, one was a Godfather. VERY good food. I am sure we will be back.
The four cheese quesadilla and bread sticks were sooo amazing! From the moment you walk in you can smell the magic that is taking place in the kitchen.
Their food was the best Italian food I’ve had! We came with family and tasted 3 different meals and all of it was amazing.
Delicious Italian-American food that is cooked and served by amazingly friendly staff who makes you feel like your family! The atmosphere is casual yet upscale and romantic with a fireplace and a patio. Great place for the whole family or a night out for the adults!
A pleasant surprise. Out of the way but worth finding. An unusual selection of lasagna - would go again if ever in Missoula.
Love the food here, its always amazing and has a nice atmosphere as well. Love that you can see the kitchen and watch them make your food as well
If you like chains like olive garden, youll love Romeos and plus youll be keeping your money in the local economy instead of sending it to some corporation. We love that it is near our house, not downtown or up on north reserve. But the best part, is that the food is amazing.
Server was nice and professional. My wife ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. They were okay. I ordered the grilled Sicilian Pasta. It is suppose to have Pepperoni, Italian sausage and pan seared beef. It was lacking the the Italian sausage. Not sure if they believed me because I did not say anything until I was nearly done. However they did comp my beer. Will try it again. I hardly ever give a negative review but this needed to be noted. If the next time is better they will get a better review.
Romeo’s is hands down the best Italian in Missoula. They make everything fresh and it shows. Their staff is always accommodating and nice. I could live off their sauces (I love the formaggio dip starter). If you need something healthier, can can swap out the pasta from all the meals for fresh sautéed veggies. Plus the proportions are great. You aren’t overwhelmed by your plate but you don’t leave hungry. And I love ending the night with chocolate moussecake. Last but not least, the prices are spot on. A lovely night at Romeos listening to Frank Sinatra with delicious food won’t break the bank. Thank you Romeo’s!
Great food and service, cozy atmosphere. Love this place highly recommend to anyone in the mood for delicious Italian food!😊
Grew up south of Chicago and this place is amazing! Hard to find a good food in Missoula but these guys deliver great food and atmosphere.
Took my best friend and my goddaughter for their birthdays and their first time at Romeos. Pleasant surprise as to how good it is.
Come for the pasta, stay for the dessert! This is my new favorite place in Missoula. Everything is made from scratch, nothing frozen. So amazing start to finish. The food was flavorful, fresh, and generous. The restaurant was super clean, the server (Madisonwas awesome, and the prices were reasonable. Without the tip, just $41 for the two of us. Can’t wait to go back! Check out the pics I took with comments on what we had.
Great food, great staff, cool location, clean facilities, and not overpriced. I eat here regularly and they never disappoint. It’s always delicious whether you are dining in or ordering to go.
This has quickly become a favorite of mine! Great atmosphere and delicious cuisine! You wont leave hungry, and the prices are hard to beat for this quality, fresh food. Lobster Ravioli & Godfather Lasagna are my go-to!
The Lobster Ravioli was excellent, but I wasnt as impressed with the Steak & Shrimp Alfredo. It was like shredded steak and very little of it for the price. A little skimpy on the breadsticks as well. The food came very quickly, but I would have liked to finish my salad. They were out of most desserts. Lets just say, I had higher expectations for a $70 dinner.
Great atmosphere, great food, amazing staff. Would highly recommend! Best tiramisu and toasted coconut cheesecake Ive ever had ❤
I have never had such a combination of great food, great service, and an awesome atmosphere! Uh- not to mention great prices! Yes Maam! Get some!!
This place is GOD AWFUL. Seriously, do not waste your money. I was told their house Italian dressing for the salad was parmesan cream dressing when in reality it was ranch and thousand island mixed together, terrible. The pasta primavera was bland and tasteless, even though there were vegetables in it, literally couldn’t taste a thing. My boyfriend got the five cheese lasagna, took one bite and immediately spit it out. My boyfriend said from the looks of the kitchen when we picked up the food they keep their sauces warm in a unit that looks like it was built for soup, so the food was not at all made to order.Quote from my Italian boyfriend: “I didn’t think it could get worse then Olive Garden, tonight I was proven wrong.”
First time experiencing this wonderful restaurant. Food was fantastic. Very flavorful, big portions, herbs in the tomato bruschetta were addictive. Ranks as one of the top restaurants in Missoula!
Fantastic servers and fresh, delicious food! Cant wait to see what yall cook up next time! Had the Steak Primavera special, and chicken parmesan at our table. Couldnt have been better!
My sister always asks me if they put crack in their food because of how addicted she is to it. Meatball wrap is fuego And she loves the ravioli. We always ask for extra saucy and they always deliver. Definitely one of our favorite spots to grab a bite from. Staff is super friendly!
I highly recommend starting off with the 4-cheese quesadilla! The entrees don’t take long to come out, but this was just gooey cheesy perfectionAs far as the entree, my table ordered a classic chicken alfredo and spaghetti with meatballs. Both of which were well executed and nicely seasoned
Went in for a late lunch, the smells from the kitchen made my stomach grind with anticipation. I ordered the godfather lasagna and it was so good. My wife stole most of the oven singed pepperoni! Had good service and would return when I need a fix of Frank Sinatra and great Italian sauce!
This is by far the BEST Italian restaurant that Ive been to. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was inviting. We savored the Sicilian Meat Lasagna, Spaghetti and Meatballs and the "You Be The Chef" (Spirals, Tomato Alfredo, Meatballs). A must try is the Creamy Tomato Basil Soup. Incredibly delicious with the bread sticks! We loved this restaurant so much that we had to visit it twice. You must pay a visit to Romeos on your next trip to Missoula.
We had a lovely experience here. The food was top-notch. I had the Sicilian Lasagna and my girlfriend had the Chicken Alfredo. Both dishes were amazing. We loved the atmosphere of the place. It was very quaint and old-style inside, which really added to the experience. The service was quick and friendly, but not overbearing. The place is tucked away a bit in Missoula, so you really feel like you are going to an upscale hole-in-the-wall.
Friendly service, tasty food and good prices! Ill be back again! (Also, their Godfather lasagna has a summit. A summit!)
It was my first time. I had read a lot of reviews and had an idea of what to expect, but just wanted to keep an open mind. The waitress was nice, but I think it was approximately 20 minutes before we received our drinks. I think she wanted us to have some time to look at the menu. Its my opinion that a sit-down restaurant should make it their #1 priority to make sure guests have at least water at their table ASAP. I can understand if the place was busy, but apparently it wasnt. There was one other table and they were done. So we were the only ones there. I have been to some amazing Italian restaurants and when you are seated, they make sure that you have a drink in hand, whether water or otherwise. Also in some of the past experiences, they would serve you something to munch on, like roasted head of garlic with bread. Not here. Well, they give you breadsticks with your salad, but they are the kind that seem like they were frozen and reheated. I could be wrong, maybe they are from scratch? My guest and I ended up ordering the 2 person meal with a little bit of lobster, shrimp and beef pieces and the majority of the plate was pasta with a cream/alfredo sauce. It was good, but I have a feeling that we would have receive more food ordering our own entrees. I was kind of cold in the place...every so often I had to warm up my hands and I had a nice warm, log sleeve shirt on. It was a Monday evening, so maybe theyre trying to save money on heat. I wasnt the only one that was cold...I saw several others who had their jackets on. The waitress said that they could have turned up the heat...but why would you have to ask them?? Also the rug looked like it hadnt been replaced in more than a decade. There were stains on it. Im giving them 2 stars because the waitress was very nice and sweet, but honestly the place probably deserves 1.5 stars. One of the glasses that they gave us with water was severely chipped, so much so that it was kind of sharp when touched. Not sure what kind of vibe they are trying to depict here, but its not one of wanting people to come back. For well over $60 with our meal, a dessert and drinks, not sure I want to come back. Sorry.
Food was delicious and tasted Fresh. Service was great. Thanks for a great experience, glad we found you.
Amazing food, everything is made right then and there. I had the Grilled Garlic Shrimp (something with a Cand it was REALLY good, but the only problem I had was the small puddle of water at the bottom of the bowl. Other than that it was delicious. Also the Alfredo sauce is purfect.
It’s first time, and it will be not the last time. Of course I recommend bc great taste and kind server
The food was delicious, the tiramisu was amazing!!! Waiter impressed us, definitely eating here again next time we visit!
I was out hiking all day and Ive had a craving for Italian lately. This place is in a nice space on a bit of a ridge and some of the booths have views. The interior was nice, very rustic Italian feeling. I enjoyed the classical Italian folk music being played. Nice, slightly grilled garlic bread sticks. I got an Italian bacon quesadilla (bit of SW fusion hereand it was quite good. Doubled down on bacon with the carbonara which was excellent. They give out some tasty chocolate mints with the check which is a classy move. Overall a great Italian dinner with a reasonable bill.
The food was the best Ive had at a Italian restaurant which happens to be my favorite food. Servise was amazing. My dining experience was the best.
We had an awesome lunch here. My husband had the lasagna and I had the lobster bisque soup. It was delicious. The place was very festive and clean. The wait staff was excellent; I would highly recommend this place.
Always enjoy my visits to Romeos. The food and service is always outstanding. The portions are substantial and prices are reasonable. We had 5 cheese lasagna and Raspberry Chicken from the light menu selection which came with soup or salad and breadsticks. Did not disappoint.
