A visit to the three-story gallery with a coffee at the top is highly recommended.
MoreFantastic Art gallery, really worth the visit. Also the cafe and restaurant are first class. Loved that place!
MoreLove art and love fresh environment space? Romcheik is full of incredible art and on the rooftop, they have a bistro restaurant where you can eat local food and drink your favorite coffee. Bonus points, they are so friendly.
MoreFriendliest staffs, and relaxation chill to calm my mind.Eggtart were the best 😋#icelemontea #eggtart
MoreWorth every penny. Extensive artspace with very interesting paintings, and a pretty cafe on top
MoreCute little art gallery/ roof top cafe, a/c room if you prefer to stay out of the heat. Beautifully decorated. Average food but interesting presentation. It was not easy to find this place as it is located on a smaller street away from the main road. At the art gallery, I only found English caption of each art piece, introducing the artist, not in Khmer language. Please add Khmer caption.

MoreGreat art space and lovely café at the top. Definitely worth a visit. Top 3 things to do in Battambang
MoreSomewhat difficult to find and secluded Real but nice nice cafe with different sitting areas and good drinks. Officially have to pay $5 to enter the exposition area (quite decent paintings to seeand go to the cafe on the roof
MoreVery nice. I was happy to hear that they do not use msg in their fried rice. It was tasty and the small one I ordered was more than enough food for one person. I sat in the air conditioned room but even set on 16° it was a bit warm at 12:30pm. The wait staff was friendly and the place itself was clean and beautifully decorated with local artwork.
MoreA very refreshing and interesting gallery. Also a nice place to have a bite to eat in their delightful cafe
MoreCertainly not worth the 5$ entrance fee, especially given that I planned to stop for coffee. I went elsewhere.
MoreSuch an unexpected find! A fantastic modern art gallery with amazing works often commenting on Cambodian culture and society. There are 2 floors of art and a lovely cafe on the top floor. 5USD for adults or 2.5USD if under 26.
MoreThe ambience mixture of this cafe - Nature + Art. Every storey has their own art exhibition with their creativities. The coffee was good with extra Oreo. The service was friendly and nice.
MoreAbsolutely beautiful spot, incredibly aesthetically pleasing dishes and drinks with a wonderful gallery to walk through. A must see while youre in Battambang if you enjoy art, and great for food even if you dont
MoreGreat gallery and interesting and varied selection of art. We paid for entry first to take lunch up on the rooftop terrace - definitely recommend that you spend a bit of time there to do both, even if just a drink. Our meals (Tom Yum soup & blue rice and chickenwere very good, as was my frappe.Entry was $5pp
MoreProbably one of the best art galleries Ive ever been to in my life. Its relatively small, but the place definitely has a unique way of displaying Cambodian art, and all very intriguing.
MoreThis is a hidden gem. Situated in a small lane, but it is not hard to find. We went there for breakfast and we had it on the rooftop. The food was amazing. We had tamarind sauce spaghetti with clams, noodle soup and bai cha kepik. Clams & octopuses were overcooked and hard but other than that, everything was great. The ambience was relaxing with breezy and cool December wind. Price was reasonable and the service was good.
MoreSuch a lovely venue to chill for a couple of hours. You can have your breakfast or lunch here at the rooftop and then take a tour in the place to marvel at the pieces of arts. The fact that the artists share a similar upbringing and show that in their arts is just impressive!Just a tip; you can access the place behind the “the warm” sign.
MoreA wonderful place to visit. Super art work. The owner is extremely warm and welcoming. I bet you will enjoy the coffee at rooftop cafe.I visited by chance and amazed to see such a quality art gallery in Battambang.
MoreBeautiful place, silent and art decorated.
I would like to introduce you to our newest #hiddengem ! 🎉#romcheik5artspace and their #romcheik5rooftopcaféAn #eclectic #art #cafe with great art, fantastic views and #tasty #beverageThe people are friendly and worth the little walk from the east bank of the river in #battambang #cambodia
MoreIt is so beautiful here. The food and drinks are delicious too. Drinks are bit expensive though.
MoreGood food good mood LoL !Their chicken rice is so good 👍
This is like a haven a short walk across the bridge from the hustle of Battambang. This art space is so well arranged and the artists in residence have produced some very thought provoking art. Amazing rooftop cafe - you can easily spend up to 4 hours here!
MoreGreat museum is you want to discover the contemporary artists of Cambodia and support them. Also a nice place to have lunch or watch sunset with a passion fruit juice !
MorePlease go to this art space. Its the first and only modern art museum in Cambodia and it is with it. I spent about 2 hours there taking in ask the at and the progress the artists went through when creating it. The rooftop café is also beautiful and with a visit by itself. Ive had the lemon/mint juice which was really refreshing!
MoreFirst time I saw so many Cambodian artpieces at one place. High quality art, diffetent styles but all so impressive! And the rooftop cafe is a nice place to think it all over, enjoying your coffee or springrole.
MoreA beautiful artspace of four cool artists and some changing other featured artworks on three floors. The artworks are definitely nice to look at and there are also some on sale. Besides that there is a nice little café on the rooftop with some food and a lot of nice drinks like sodas and more. Definitely worth stopping by if youre in Battambang.
MoreA lovely few hours wandering around great art followed by lunch at their beautiful café
MoreI was amazed by this beautiful artspace. Every art pieces from the artists have really deep expression. The environment is very calm and down to earth. Every time I went there for coffee, I felt like I was touched by the heart of Battambang city. Oh, and its also a right place to do some works and read some books too. LOVE THE FOOD!
MoreStrongly recommend. Very nice place, have a lot of painting that great meaning. Staff very polite and friendly.
MoreSome very interesting pieces. Mostly paintings but there were a number of sculptures/wood carvings. $5.00 entrance fee but if you enjoy artwork it is worth it.
MoreGo to Battambang without visiting this place , what are you doing ?The arts are extremely incredible . The artist must be putting really hard work on those . Everyone is friendly :The Café on the roof top gave a big chill . There are books to read , drinks with acceptable price and nice view . By the way I love how they use bamboo straw instead of plastic .Extremely recommend ;)
MoreBeautiful artspace displays such a touching artwork, both sculpture and painting from local artist. The cafe on the Robocop is amazing, nice view and fresh, the drink is delicious. The handmade scarf is nice with a lady working with her loom on site.
MoreMust-see in Battambang! Its a contemporary art gallery run by artist collective. Find some nice works there! This model of artist-run space with cafe on the rooftop and entrance fees (5$ for visitors above 26is sustainable because artists can make a living and continue to create.
MoreThe artworks are very well displayed in the 3 floors! The visit lasts more or less 1h15. The terrasse on the roof is a great place to have a drink, appreciate the landacape and exange about art with the very friendly staff. We loved to share about art with the artists and the workers there!!
MoreThe museum houses art from local artists in Battambang. These artists are graduates from the local Phare Ponleu Selpak. Entrance fee is $5USD ($2.5 for those under 26years old). Visiting the school along with this artspace would be good.
MoreGreat to see if you’re interested in modern art. The new part of the building was just opened a few days ago and enlarges the exhibition. The entrance fee is now 5 USD per Person (student discounts availableand is well spent here.
MoreNice gallery featuring some young local artists. Happy to spend 2,5$ to see their work and help them out :)
MoreBeautiful work from 5 talented artists who had a pretty tough upbringing.3 floors to explore, $2 contribution pp
MoreThis gallery deserves to be more famous.Fees entrance 2.5$ for real causes. The architecture is nice. The artist have their own style, all different, very emotional.Welcoming and smiling guy at the entrance. I spent a good time thereRecommend it !
MoreProbably the most interesting art gallery I saw in Southeast Asia. The subjects are dark and graphic, which makes sense considering the artists backgrounds. Great to see art function as a sort of therapy here. Kind of surrounded by nothingness, but not too far of a walk from the city center. Make a trip.
MoreTo be sure, a worthwhile visit to those looking to learn what lurks deep within the Cambodian heart. Many of the things they try to hide from the tourists can be found here. Its not a huge gallery, but large enough to get a better idea of whats going on in this society. Lastly, the art is impressive. The entry wasnt horrendous and didnt feel like a rip-off.
