Best meat

Got a rare steak instead of medium.

Steak doesnt seem like it has seasoning at all and its too tough even if you order it medium rare. Ate here two times this year and was disappointed both times. I dont see (or tastethe hype at all. There are definitely other steakhouses, compared to this, that deserve better recognition.

Busy restaurant! And quite famous too I presume as they pride themselves for having served some wellknown figures in the Philippine politics. Sure, this is not Wolfgang, but it is still able to serve up good steak. Just know that their steaks are big. I ordered the medium beef which they told me was good for 1 person. I definitely think that was good for 2-3. Pleasantly surprised.

Enjoying steak in a cozy atmosphere has always been my jam. Been there 5 times in the past 10+ years (too poor to keep having steak all the time), never regretted eating there for any of those times.

Still the best steak house in Gensan. Try their best-selling steaks, Beef strips and mouth-watering Chicken. Taste buds will surely be pleased when in Rolands Steak House. Place is cozy and a bit small but has improved a lot. Service and customer has really improved a lot.

Our go-to-place in Gensan when it comes to steak. The place is small but the food is great. And the burgers are a must-try. For a burger lover like me, I rate their burger 10/10.

Food is ok but not great. If you really know steak, you would still go to Fridays or Chillis. Good enough though for their price. Service is fast and staff are polite.

We ordered Ribeye steaks, OMG, the plate had about a cup of some kind of vegetable oil tasted rancid with cheap seasoning, you couldnt even taste the meat, it was pretty tough... Potatoe and side dishes were cold.Service was slow, servers standing around. Asking for our drinks...Not a good experience...

The place was perfect. The ambiance was great.The steak though was not so perfect. During our last visit, we ordered for extra large and a rib-eye, the meat was not so tender. But the taste was great though, surprisingly.

Drinks were good.....I had a rib-eye steak....it was under cooked.....I ordered it medium....it came back medium rare.....didnt make a big deal out it....next time Ill know

I ordered a fish steak but it was not really as tasty as I expected to be. Price though are reasonable.

Rolands can take pride in being Gensans first ever and oldest steakhouse but I honestly think they need to improve on the quality of their steaks. No question about the buttery taste of the meat but I had difficulty chewing. I ordered medium-well but it was like chewing gum no end. The meat was obviously pounded but I still couldnt swallow most of the meat of the large t-bone I ordered. So much fat and so "veiny". Their fried chicken though, is so good. Crispy fried but it maintained the tenderness of the meat. Tastes great, too. Service is fast. Id probably come back for the chicken but Illneed to think a lot of times about the steak.

GenSans pride for being the Citys best-tasting steak was an experience to tell. From their rich history to their Fillet Mignon and Medium sized steak that really melted our taste buds.Though they had a small space which can be too crowded during peak hours, they can still deliver a timely and good customer service.

For the price you can’t really complain. You wont get angus or wagyu here. The beef is the best locally sourced beef you can find, hence it’s way cheaper than angus or wagyu, but it’s tougher as well. This restaurant had been here for decades, they know their stuff.

Great food for the price. Dont expect wagyu steaks here. Just locally raised beef which are cooked to your liking. With more than 40 years experience of cooking steaks, youll definitely be surprised by the taste and sheer size of their steaks. Its one place you should go when you have a steak craving.

The steak is superb. There is a balance of flavors and aroma worth indulging for. I would love to eat there again. Its pricey but all worth it.

Love the steak recipe that goes way back to 1939, the year General Paulino Santos came to this area. Roland s currently owned by the Conlu has been serving this steak restaurant for the last 20 years! Order the tenderloin steak or try their half chicken. Delicious!

I love the sauce that comes with the steak. Conveniently located along the highway. You can hardly find a parking space during peak hours.

A place for steak lovers. My favorite is the medium well porterhouse steak seasoned with herbs and spices as I partnered it with Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce.. Burgers with pure meat patties are also available in various sizes..

My favorite place for me to dine and unwind. The usual place I bring my colleagues, family and friends for lunch and dinner. With a pretty good ambiance, this restaurant is the perfect place for lovers. Probably, for me, this place is the best steak house in town!
