Rokko Music Box Museum in Nishiwaki

神戸市のスマートパスで初めて行きました。主人はここは何❓って感じでしたが、中に入って感動してました。まずオルゴールがたくさんそれもみんな綺麗で感動でした。中庭に池があってとても癒されました。最後にミュージアムの部屋でコンサートを聴きました。自動演奏のオルゴールや楽器説明を入れて30分間の演奏ですが、神戸にこんな素敵な所があったんだとビックリ⁉️でした。今回、スマートパスだから行ったけど、こちら1300円だったので今まで行かなかったけど、是非また行きたいと思いました。とても素敵な場所でした。時間が無かったので、レストランで食べれなかったけど今度は是非食事もしたいです。

Incredible collection! Some of the music boxes (defined broadly, to include piano rolls, etc.are large and quite elaborate. And you can hear "performances" as well. A one of a kind treat.

オルゴールミュージアム。説明付の演奏会が何回もありますので時間を気にせず訪問できます🎵貴重なオルゴールが沢山ありますが演奏中は撮影できません。建物奥に広がる素敵な庭園に圧倒されました❤️園内のオルゴールを探して歩いてみてください！癒されますよ～😆隣にある高原植物園のチケットを同時に購入するとお得です。

30分毎にオルゴールの演奏を聞くことができます。また、秋の期間内は六甲ミーツアートのアート作品も飾ってありより楽しめると思います。1時間半から2時間位は考えておいたほうが良さそうです。

六甲山観光で訪れました。はじめは「時間もあるし入ってみるか」程度の気持ちでしたが、結果とても楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。1時間毎に30分間あるオルゴール演奏は特に素晴らしいと思います。賑やかな音楽を奏でる大きいオルゴールや、回るレコードの穴裏から光り、星の瞬きのような光を見せるオルゴールなど…初めて見るオルゴールばかりで、こんなに深い世界だったことに驚きました。

六甲山をドライブしたときに訪れました。私はオルゴールや楽器やからくり人形がもともと好きなのですが、興味のある展示物であふれていて、とても楽しめました。展示物のオルゴールなどは、基本音を聴くことができないのですが、QRコードを読み込むとスマホで音を再生することができます。毎正時にホールで30分間の音楽会があり、この中に展示してあるコレクションの演奏は説明とともに聴くことができます。大型のオルゴールからオートマタ、自動演奏装置(パイプオルガンなど)などの演奏が聴けますが、時間ごとに色々な楽器に変わるので、何回も聴きたくなります。演奏会の合間は美しい庭園の散策、カフェで飲食もでき、長時間楽しめる施設でした。

30分のオルゴールのコンサートがあります。どれも100年以上経っていると思えないステキな音色でした。お庭の至るところにも工夫を凝らしたオルゴールが有りました。

This place extends my knowledge about music boxes. Though the building and area are small, I still recommend it to those who are interested in music.

We watched 2 shows while eating lunch there in between them and it was much better than expected! Each show demonstrates 6-7 different Organs and the staff even uses a video camera live, to show the depth of the machinery! Cute staff and very instructive experience. the garden is free included in the price and throughout it there are various sound machines and small Organs that you can activate while observing the flowers of the season and the pond with Lilies and Monet feel. All in all much better than expected and not boring!!

オルゴール演奏会は１時間毎に各30分、正面の大きな演奏機は2時間に1回（たぶん10時・12時・14時・・・）とのこと。毎回ではないけれど、手回しオルゴールを回せる会もあって、楽しかった。お庭は結構広く新緑が綺麗だし、この時期は気温がほどよく気持ちよい。所々に、紐を引っ張ると鳴るオルゴールがあったり、腰掛けると演奏が始まる椅子があったり、ハンモックがあったりするので、ゆっくり見たい人は1日楽しめる広さ。謎解きに挑戦したところ、なかなか時間がかかる。演奏会を2回観覧、演奏会と演奏会の間で館内の謎解きを行い庭へ。庭での謎解きに大苦戦。昼食30分を含め計3時間滞在したのに終わらず、高山植物園へも行きたかったから途中で断念。謎解き初で要領がよくわからなくて、指示場所を実物と勘違いし右往左往（実物の場所には近寄れない）。付近にあるパネルを示してるだけで、実物ではないとのこと。きちんと演奏会を楽しんで、オルゴールを見て、お庭を楽しんで、その上で謎解きをやるなら5時間くらいは見込んだ方が良いと思う。

【2022.3.13】旧六甲オルゴールミュージアムが2021.7.16に「ROKKO森の音(もりのね)ミュージアム」にリニューアルされました。従来からある様々なオルゴールが展示されている「森の音ホール」と「SIKIガーデン」の大きく２つからなります。入場料は大人(中学生以上)1,300円、小人(4歳以上)600円。駐車場は、普通車 平日500円、土日祝1,000円。8/11～8/15は2,000円。車椅子用の駐車枠は２つあります♿カフェ＆レストラン「森のCafe」もあるので、ランチや休憩も出来ます。テラス席もありますよ。「森の音ホール」は、スタッフの方がアンティーク・オルゴールの説明や実際に鳴らしてくれたり、自動演奏楽器によるコンサート等があります。オルゴールのキレイな音色に癒されます🎵自動演奏楽器のコンサートはすごいです。私が訪れた時は、手回しオルゴールを演奏させてくれる体験を息子にさせてくれて、とてもいい経験をさせてもらえました。椅子も用意されていて、この季節は最前列に〝こたつ席〟もありました。あったかかったです(о´∀`о)「SIKIガーデン」は、私が訪れた3/13はまだ季節が早いせいで枯れっ枯れでしたが(笑)、新緑の季節はきっとキレイな緑にあふれたステキな所だと思います。ベンチに座ると音楽が鳴る〝音のベンチ〟。木彫りの鳥に触ると音が鳴るオブジェ。〝巣箱型オルゴール〟があっちこっちに設置されており、ヒモを引っ張るとオルゴールが鳴ります。巣箱によって曲が違います。全部で15個あるのでそれを探すといった、ちょっとした宝探し気分が味わえて、息子も夢中になって楽しそうに探して鳴らしてました(*´∀`)♪〝カッコウ・ボックス〟という、ハンドルを回すとカッコウの鳴き声に似た音が出るのも１つありました🐦ハンモックも幾つか設置されていて、テンション上がります⤴️一番奥に〝ローズガーデン〟もあるのですが、バラの季節に向けて造園中でした。バラの開花期に合わせて又訪れたいです🌹〝SIKIドーム〟という360度透明なドームが２つあり、有料ですがそこで過ごす事も出来ます。私が訪れた時は〝あったかウィンターフェア〟というイベントをやっていて、「SIKIガーデン」で焚き火を使ってアウトドアクッキング(ホットサンドや焼きマシュマロ作り)とダッチオーブンで焼きリンゴ体験をして来ました。とってもいい体験をして、しかも美味しかったです😋ここでも手回しオルゴールを親子で体験させてもらえました＼(^_^)(^_^)／オルゴールを聴く「森の音ホール」以外は、外にある「SIKIガーデン」で過ごしていたので、このコロナ禍にはちょうどいい施設だと思います。

1月の寒い時期で閑散期でしたが、湖が凍っていてうっすらと白くなったお庭は最高の雰囲気でした。焚き火イベントではマシュマロを焼くことができ、子供にとっては手軽にプチキャンプ気分を味わえたようで貴重な体験になりました。オルゴールのコンサートも子供も大人も楽しめる内容で、毎回オルゴールの種類や曲目が変わるため、何度いっても楽しめます。

六甲山にドライブに行った時に旦那さんが連れて行ってくれた場所。六甲の山の中にこんな場所があるなんて見た事の無い　大きいな楽器に驚きましたコンサートの様なものがあってすごく大きな音色や優しい音色。いろんな音に癒されました。レストランで食事しながらも、演奏を聞きながら素敵な時間を過ごさせて頂きました。

the Musical box workshop was fun. Although we got the basic plan, it was actually hard to “fix”/assemble the box. Be careful though when choosing the song, as some might be on irritating repeat mode (i.e. the chorus part doesn’t end in a nice way so it sounds like a broken songBut the museum’s entrance fee is quite high (¥1300considering how few the contents are inside.. (Store on 1F, Music box “concert hall” & cafe on 2F, & about 4 small rooms of displays on 3F, plus a garden outsideSo unless you’re doing the workshop, the price might not be worth it.. Also, due to COVID you need to book for the workshop in advance.

Very interesting place, museum, where there is also beautiful garden and restaurant. You can come here with all your family and with kids of course tospend the whole day.

Antique from Germany and Switzerland seem alot in these place.Sadly all the explanations are in Japanese. Worth to pay a visit.

Some great music boxes

Not a lot to see in the museum, theres more interesting stuffs in the shop. But beware, if you are not going in, theres no place to wait, you also not allowed to go to the shops.

Surprisingly awesome and interesting. I didnt think I would enjoy a music box museum that much. Definitely attend one of the concerts held every half hour.

A nice place to look into music box and listen to the music box concert. Be warned, the Swiss one is really loud.

Interesting but not very recommended unless you are interested in history or engineering? behind musical box.Theres a demonstration of various songs (classics and animeby a kind lady who does her best to speak English.Be careful if you are taking the bus, if you are going to garden terrace/arima onsen ropeway, take the bus from the bus stop you arrived at.If you are heading back to cable car/kobe or sannomiya, take the one in the opposite direction.

I must admit, Im no music box buff by any means, so I suppose to an average lay person this is a really intriguing and interesting place to visit. I didnt buy anything but there was certainly many unique and special music boxes and other stuff available too. The journey up to the museums a definite plus too.

This is the best music box museum in the whole of Kansai. Great and huge collection. It has a shop too that sells various music boxes, from simple ones to very elaborate ¥30,000 ones. There is also a workshop which we attended. It is conducted in Japanese. However, the staff was very helpful and gave us a laminated English guide while teaching us using sign language.

You can buy Orgols, watch the old fashioned orgols.It also has café so you can drink beverages and sweets, and take light snacks.Its locations is not much comfortable for whom visiting by public transportation.

There are 2 shows on the music boxes! One of them is a special show on Disney tunes!There is one huge automatic box! 🤯For those who wants to participate, they have a workshop to teach how to make one!One of the more fun locations on Rokkosan

Good place!

Must go for musical box lovers, otherwise pretty small museum. Good concert every half hour! For generic travellers, dont put your hopes too high up but although it does provide quite a unique experience.

The Rokko Music Box Museum is a nice place to visit on a rainy day when there’s nothing much else to do on Mt Rokko, but the admission charge is high for what essentially is 2 small floors of musical instruments. The curator was there when I visited and his enthusiasm for the machines showed, but I wouldn’t visit again.

A place of history! Collection of different types of music boxes in different sizes, and with different instruments. Very impressive towards the mechanics and design in old days up to 1920s. There are classes to make music box for beginners and professionals. Interesting to spend half day with kids.

An suprisingly comprehensive collection of old music automata. Definitely worth a visit. Not just a tourist trap.

An eye opening music box museum. Just that the entrance ticket is a bit pricey.

This place was great! There were about a dozen working music boxes of various kinds that they ran demos of every 20 minutes or so. Other than that there wasnt much to see, but thats ok. Also almost nothing was available in English, but it was still cool.
