Rohan Covent Garden - Outdoor Clothing & Travel Gear in Somerset East

Disappointed in my post recent Rohan product, button stitching failed in 1st day of wearing and poor customer support

I called regarding some items I needed for my backpacking trip. Christian was so incredibly helpful! He went out of his way to try to source the products I needed, in time for my trip and offered alternatives for products that were out of stock 🥺 Excellent customer service!!

Ive been dressed in Rohan gear most days for over 30 years because its great longlasting quality which suits my life and work eg cycling to work and to visit clients while remaining reasonably smart but I need cut-off trousers which are no longer available. Covering my knees is more respectful to clients and gives better sun protection while avoiding the need for cycle clips and staying cool. My solution has been to buy full-length trousers (in the sale), then cut and them myself. Perfect for me but surely a missed opportunity for Rohan?

I seem to always visit Rohan when visiting London, which is once every year or so. In my opinion their travel clothing is second to none in terms of practicality, and very light packing weight.Rohan travel clothing is easily hand-washed and fast drying (often overnightand doesnt require ironing. The styles are (usually!!tasteful.The clothing sizes across the board are consistent (once you know what size fits, all other items the same size also fit).Almost all of my travel clothes now were bought here.Their website is good for planning upcoming purchases.We dont live in the UK so I have not personally used Rohans mail order or visited any of their handful of other stores out of London.

I was bought a rucksack for my birthday from a friend overseas. They gave me the gift receipt so I could change it. The Covent garden branch I could change it and the price was cheaper. To get the remainder of the money they needed the card and person with it. I explained they lived abroad but they could either give me a gift card (which I didnt wantor buy something else. There was nothing else I needed and it was all to pricey. So I left with rucksack to get my friend to ask for money back. I will not step into Rohan again. There is better elsewhere.

A hidden gem of a store in this world of ubiquitous outdoor brand names. Good British clothing with innovative design - that works. I defy anyone not find a good pair of trousers for travelling, or trekking in the outdoors.
