Nice place to walk around. Most of the pieces here are depressing. About hells gate. Highlight is the thinker. Relaxing in the city. But with so many other outings you might want to see other museums first and save this if time. Not a must see like the others. Staff was ok.

Definitely a must to check out this museum. Audio guide made the visit so much more informative, as if you are listening to stories. Time flies by very fast. The park is lovely to enjoy a little stroll.

Fabulous museum to learn about Rodins life and glance on his original sculpture work. You can definitely understand why he is so famous through the expression of his work. The way he twists the anatomy of the human in his sculptures is amazing.I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasnt that crowded. You can easily go through the museum in an hour and a half.

Rodin Museum is located a short distance from the Eiffel Tower. A visit to Paris would be incomplete without just seeing the Eiffel Tower. So it should also be seen....The Musee Rodins sculptures may be the main attraction, but his paintings, sketches and ceramics are also worth a visit. Three stars because the museum is great, a haven of peace in the heart of Paris. Not so crowded, the gardens are great, the museum is beautiful. Although there is not enough space to sit inside the building, it is very hot inside, the wind was unbearable. But you wont miss the ground. The seven-acre garden showcases Rodins work in a stunning natural setting. The perfect harmony of this garden, built around the new visitor circuit between Rodins monument and the Hotel Biron, will make you want to stay in Paris. I enjoyed myself..beautiful place and decorated with sculptures. To me it is super museum.

Of course there are many sculptures by Rodin.Get up close and personal with some of the most famous sculptures, including The Thinker and the Gates of Hell. If you look closely at the Gates of Hell with the magnifying function of your mobile phone, you will be impressed by the many detailed sculptures of people!

It’s aesthetically enlightening and deserves more than one time visit! Plus, it’s not too crowded and allows one to fully immerse in the art.

What a stunning and aesthetically pleasing museum! I mean to be honest I don’t know much about sculptures but this place is just too pretty! They also have some cute little sculptures you can buy as souvenir! A must visit!!

A beautiful house and garden, though very stuffy and hot inside. The majority of the work seems to be studies for his master works and those few are really stunning.

This is such a welcoming little oasis filled with some of the most beautiful sculptures of Rodin. I was pleasantly surprised to also see a few paintings of Monet, Renoir, Munch and Van Gogh. The museum’s architecture alone is worth a visit. It’s also not crowded especially compared to other popular museums so you can enjoy a relaxed experience while viewing the art displays. Definitely worth a visit.

Indoor/Outdoor museum with sculptures and formal gardens. We enjoyed strolling the gardens and getting up close in the mansion. The beautiful gardens are very well kept and the shade was welcomed on a hot day.

As weve been to the bigger museums before, we decided to check out the Musée Rodin for the sculpture garden. It was nice and relaxing to walk around the gardens. Of course the best part was people watching - some kid had a blast poking every crevasse of the sculptures with a stick. The inside of the museum wasnt as impressive as the gardens, but still a nice short visit for a lazy afternoon

Recommend!Pros:- Beautiful sculptures- Garden you can chill at- Cafe inside- Don’t need to buy tickets ahead- Not too crowdedCons:- Not the nicest toilets- No AC

You get to see lots of Rodin works but most of the really famous pieces outside are reproductions. Inside there are lots of examples of how his process worked and pieces that are partly finished.I feel like there were things I was missing about the story of his life but there werent very many plaques explaining what the room progressions were showing. Not sure if the audio tour would have helped with that or not. Either way, you might want to do a little reading on the topic before going.Oh, and if its hot outside, its going to be hotter inside. This museum isnt air conditioned and the south facing rooms get quite toasty. Im actually kind of surprised they have Monet and Van Gogh hanging in a room that isnt climate controlled... <shrugg>

Really nice museum with many sculptures by Rodin (both inside and outside). It even has a few paintings by Van Gogh and others. The outside is a very nice garden. The only warning is that the indoor portion can get very very hot (not air conditionedand while there are fans in all the rooms, the air circulation is not great (I was also there when it was 40 Celsius though).

If you are going to museums in Paris, put this on your list. A great spot for an hour or two to experience some beautiful sculptures. It wasnt as good as the Borghese in Rome, but still an experience worthwhile!

Museum is just ok. Small museum with great works of Rodin. Not all works have explanations in English. Many of the artworks are very repetitive so the same seen earlier in the other display rooms. Though sculpture’s are great prices, you get bored. Entry fee is Euro 13 and I felt it was very high for what you get. Garden is good to stroll for some time. Overall I did not get a great feeling / satisfaction. May be if the displays had explanation in English for all the art works, I would have felt better. Audio guide is available but not worth to spend another Euro 6. (I forgot whether it is 6 or 12)

This has got to be one of the best laid out tranquil museums Ive been to. Sculptures in the garden - very relaxing and spacious. Walking around the main house- lots of room and not overcrowded at all. Amazing history and also has a few pieces from Monet and Van Gough. Amazing to see gates of hell and Uglino and his sons.

Probably my most favorite activity and museum in Paris. The rose garden at the entrance is sublime. Stroll the peaceful gardens and see all of Rodins beautiful and large bronze sculptures in the garden. Go inside to see mostly sculptures in marble. Not far from Rue Grenelle for those who want to shop at the incredible boutiques on this street!

Went to this museum on May 14, 2022. That is the European night at the museums, when most museums are free in the evening and open late. Normally, I think Rodin museum is typically 15 Euros. The Thinker in the garden and the full sized "Gates of Hell" were the highlights for me.

Nice place to visit if You like statues. Not too large an area to walk around. It took about an hour or so to go through the building and surrounding courtyard. They check your bags on the gate. You can leave your backpack in a free cloakroom or keep it in front of You. There are toilet facilities in a separate building near the cafe.

This is one of the most beautiful museums in Paris. White the purchase of your ticket you have access to the garden and the Hotel Biron where the exhibit pieces are held. One of Auguste Rodins most famous pieces is here the statue of "The Thinker."Composed of an 18th-century mansion (Hotel Bironand a sculpture garden of almost three hectares, the museum houses the sculptures of Rodin. The perfect harmony of the sculpture garden and the charm of the rockery architecture of its Hotel Biron will make your visit a unique moment of your stay in Paris.Entrance ticket price: 12€ and closed on Mondays.**Free (permanent collections and garden onlyon the first Sunday of each month, from October 1 to March 31.**If you looking to make a list of museums to visit this is a must. I would highly recommend. One of m favorite places in Paris.

A beautiful museum for a beautiful day. Tucked away near Les Invalides, its easy to leave this museum off your "must-see" list, but its definitely worth a visit. Both the house and gardens are full of Rodins fascinating art and sculptures. Will be coming back in Spring/Summer to see how the gardens have bloomed!

Superb museum. The estate really transports you out of the city into somewhere off on the countryside. The museum truly shows how great and prolific an artist Rodin was at his time. Some rooms show the progress of creation without being overly explanatory, maintaining the coherence and beauty of the space. Some of the lighting is a tad heavy on the warm tone side. Make sure to estimate at least 30 minutes to spend on the gardens. Loved it!
