RocoMamas Borrowdale in Harare

I loved the place, i loved the atmosphere and i love the waitresses. Had my 3 meals there breakfast, lunch and takeaway supper/dinner.For breakfast had a burger and chips. The burger was quite tasty and filling though it was a bit burnt on the edges thats why for food i give 4 stars, had some nice wings for lunch then pork ribs and chips for the evening. The food taste was heavenly and the place is spotless. The hygiene standard is par excellence.Would recommend thought that the toilets be checked and cleaned regularly because there were some toilet paper which was on the floor in the morning till evening and urinal.Oh and the mango-orange juice is out of this world... keep it up guys

RocoMamas.A buzzing happening place. The chicken wings were superb. And what a variety of burgers.We were a big group and each one had something of their own choice.Also do try their milkshakes.

I had my Visa debit card debited twice and when I showed them my bank statement as proof they just said we will look into it,3 weeks down the line I asked again ,why I hadn’t received a refund .there is no clear reason and the person I spoke to is very unprofessional and clearly lacks training and the expertise to deal with customers I would advise others to be very careful when using international Visa cards

Had the Ribs Wings and fries combo which is great for 2 to share. Ask for Star who is a great and attentive server.

The only reason I come to RocoMamas is for those juicy messy chilli burgers. To die for <3 <3 <3

The food was really well done for an upper mid-range fastfoodish restaurant. Ordered some wings and their fries with cheese sauce, it was mouth watering and really moist. However, on busy days the service is bottlenecked as they have to run around tending to all the multiple customers.

Great place for a burger fix. As the months have weighed on I feel that they have slid in terms of customer service (huge delays and much fewer smile especially at the take away areaand food quality. I hope youll step it up!

A lot has changed since they opened, way back use to be good food .But now seems 😕 they are doing short cuts , they need to keep quality and consistency.Otherwise theyre losing customers.

A cool place for meeting up with a selection of good burgers. Sometimes, they get very overwhelmed and orders take a while to be done. Overall a good place. ☺

Their milkshakes are amazing! However on multiple occasions the waiters were not professional, one even sat on our table whilst she took orders. On my sisters birthday lunch she was served ribs that had gone off manager had to intervene. Im always hoping for a better experience because I really do love their milkshakes but Im yet to be fully satisfied.

RocoMamas continueato serve some of the juiciest burgers in Zim!Mt latest order was a telephone one and I appreciated the phone manner and service.The burgers were ready on arrival and the toppings always fresh (avocado is a hit or miss foe most). This bacib cheese guac burger always wins, I can never finish!

Their burgers are ridiculously huge and we love it!!!!!Do expect to spend a pretty penny. But its worth the experience.

Beef Patty - dry, under seasonedWings had chilli yes that looked unappealing but they were swimming in a cup of oil, poorly seasoned, not even salt was featuring.Burger roll was stale.Paid for extra mushroom on burgers, it was not there but payment was already made.Deep fried cheese balls were ok, not great, not good, ok.If i could i would put a ZERO...SMH, US$40 on dinner for 2 DEFINITELY NOT WELL SPENT.I DO NOT RECOMMEND..!!!!

RocoMamas Borrowdale is a very nice place to choose especially for burger-lovers. Once you have a smashburger its hard to revert back to the ordinary type. You might want to opt for indoor seating especially during peak hour evenings to avoid the movement of the drive-through close by. We had a friendly waiter who ensured we were comfortable and took us through the various menu options and how to place our order on the order form (first timers here). We particularly liked the customisable burger (great for picky eaters like myselfand within about 10 minutes, our order was ready.The burger was yummy, though my only concern was the caramelised onions which I found very sweet and not the best contrast with the hair other savoury ingredients. I also was a bit disappointed with the cheese sauce for the cheese-loaded fries as it had a grainy texture (tasted better when I had it the following day thoughbut what is food when you dont try out the different options. RocoMamas meal portions are pretty large so youll most likely pack for the road. Your bill will also be on the higher side (especially if you are not a Harare localbut its all worth the experience.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it and go there again the next time were in the capital. Definitely going back for the ribs and wings.

My first time there, ordered burgers but unfortunately they had just run out of buns. We waited quite a while for them but Im giving 5 start because the waiter that took care of us was great! he kept coming by to check if we were okay and to reassure us he would get us our food to us as soon as possible.

RocoMamas is the place where you can build your own burger and trust me you will love it. One of the few places with a wide selection for non pork takers. On the other hand if bacon is your best part of the day, these fellas will send you home satisfied and edifiedThe staff was very friendly and I got it with all the extras I had asked for. A newbie like me wasnt made to feel like a front door mat. They broke down every bit of the menu, and delivered it as ordered.The taste was over the moon. I could see myself flying without wings. Each bite led to another. At some point I had to stop driving, park the car and concentrate on my hearty meal. There is no ounce of stinginess in me so I had gotten extras for my family just to make sure the experience doesnt end with me.Thank you RocoMamas... Next time Im in Harare Im coming back

Good food. Service has definitely improved. We had an attentive waiter(Rocketwho communicated very well during a busy night. Prices are bit on the average, burgers ranging from $6-$14. However i Really did love their ribs. Would recommend for friends who don’t mind laughing and waiting through the noise of the next table that’s just a footstep away.
