Rocky bay nice , relaxed , clean beach

well keept accommodation with a very unique style to the cabins, perfect for familys and couples, a very nature themed but modern style park with a restaurant on resort grounds . I would highly recommend.

I have been going to the caravan park for near on 30 years, never once have I been disappointed by the staff, the facilities or the view of the ocean. Everything is always kept neat and clean and secure. Definitely worth a visit by anyone wanting to stop by and camp for a while.

Great as always. Secluded, new shop with most necessities plus TOASTIES! Everything works, just desperately need new pool (as in snookerand table-tennis units. Government screwed up beach access this year. DIRECT sea access. Front camp sites on the beach front.

Rockybay is the best for camping. Visit for werk now. So nice. 24 hour security. Ablusions 5 star. Clean. Nice laundry. Will come again. This is our 5th camp here. Rocky the best.

Great place for hanging out on the beach with family and friends. Good fishing at the pier. Pretty friendly bunch of fishermen can be found on most days and pretty safe during the day. I am not sure about the evening as I always leave early.

Stayed there mid October for the first time, very neat campground, ablutions very neat and clean. Would defenately stay there again.

Always a great weekend away from Durban. Lovely bike trails with a scuba centre nearby. A must for adventurers.

It is always a pleasure to spend time at Rocky Bay. From making the on line reservation, arrival and check - in, getting the caravan in place and meals at the Sugar Post restaurant.

Very nice lady in reception, friendly and accomodating, explained everything very nicely. Place is nice, facilities are great.

Conference and function room, very clean. Nice facilities, garden area tidy and well kept. Good parking facilities.

Beautiful and clean cabins. Reasonably priced and close to amenities such as the Sugar Post, which is worth a visit!!

We initially wanted to go back to the beach, but then we ended just enjoying the time at the resort restaurant.

Great place for camping. Fairly cheep to stay there. The camping sites are a good size and the ablution block is well maintained.

If you live body surfing and big waves then this us the only beach you need to go to. Fishin also not so bad and yoy can also launch yiur boat from here

I didnt stay here but the cabins and gardens look nice. I started a trail run from Rocky Bay which was awesome.I would definitely consider staying at the resort.

We got married here 7 years ago and try to pop back at least once a year. Restaurant has been vastly upgraded, and June 2018 we had SUPERB personal service, even while there was a conference going on, and load shedding. If you are camping, lunching, or want a self-catering chalet, this is a winner.

Great place not to talk about the view. Frendly staff. Will recommend for all! Or not. Then everyone will go and i would not get a place. Book a spot its realy wurth te price, view and great weather.

Wonderful cabins and stands for caravans. Great beach. Safe and clean! Play area for kids and two pools.

We were greeted with smiling faces at this quiet and easy going venue. They have a lovely menu with homey South African meals.

Sixth consecutive year that we have spent our Easter holidays at Rocky Bay. Going for our green number :swim, fish, trail run or mtb ride, fly kites, snorkel, find shells and whatever you heart desires in one beautiful laid back location. Can beat rocky bay for a family holiday

Very lovely and beautiful place aside from the violent monkeys.. I have no complaints perfect for a family get together or to got out as a couple.

Very disappointing! Tables too high for comfort. Floor dirty. Entrance very poor. Could realy make an effort there. My chicken salad was the worst I ever had. Not at all as the menu and the waitress said (I asked her to list the ingredientsoverall disappointing. They could make more of the view and clean the cement floor better. They have very good potential. Just make more of an EFFORT! AND GET A PROPER CHEF!

Great place for a quick break away. Liked it very much. I love the mountain bike trail. I would prefer a warm swimming pool for the late nights and winter evenings. But despite this, the entire place is great and neat

Its first class everything, it amazing place the stones,trees,sand,sunshine best ocean views and if you like games best place to pay a visit they have best bicycle road that cross sugar cane if have a boat not a problem bay is in front on the resorts nice wind under the trees this place is amazing

Food is really good, service is okay. Bit pricey though. Also, you do *not* make Irish Coffee with whipped cream!

Nice place and views, but come here with the exact amount of cash you need. Bit disappointing having to go back to town to break a R50 note in order to get service from them!

My family and I are members for 9 years and we love it there ,there is lots to do it is so fun there , the resturante has nice food and the cabins is comfortable

Just got back from a weekend at Rocky Bay and cant wait to go back. I was pleased to find that the destination was just as described on their website. It was peaceful and beautiful and amazing to have the beach at just a stone throw away. The log cabin was clean and comfortable. The surroundings was well maintained and all staff that we encountered were pleasant and helpful. Its a wonderful place for a family holiday.

Unfortunately what is advertised regarding accommodation is not what you get.All photos on their site shows great sea views, where we are sitting you just see bushes and bushes. So watch out if they book you into any of the F group log cabins
