A cozy pub with a unique atmosphere. A good variety of beer on tap. The business lunch is a good price and served quickly. The hamburger is ok, but the meet patty is very small for the bun. The main problem we had as a table of four.. they wouldnt let us pay separately but also only accepting cash payments. We all had cash, but each had bills of 500 and the staff was annoyed when 2 of us asked for change so we could get the money together amongst ourselves to pay.

Drinks were awesome and prices were enormously cheap. I highly recommend this place.

The bar is way too small , only full of locals. Call ahead or during earlier hours. The steak is delicious, still tender even well done. Try the breaded zucchini with cheese and tomato slices.Both times I am very full and satisfied.

It was a nice day so I sat outside and waited about 15 minutes, but nobody came out to serve me. Some others were sitting outside with food or drink, though no waiter came out while I was there. I nearly went inside to ask for service but then I thought: "Why should I, Ill go somewhere else". Cant comment on the food or drink as I didnt manage to work out how to get any.

Wow best gastro-surprise of Kiev so far: good solyanka, GREAT veggie-filled omelet, and the best dark lager I’ve had in a while, all for 200 ($7.50)

Nice prices (medium or even cheap if you compare to other pubs in the centre). Great beer and waiters/waitresses are very polite and can guide you which beer is a right choice for you. Highly recommend to visit. Also, it is better to book a table beforehand as this place is quite popular.

Its rare that you find a spot that has nice atmosphere and good food for a low price.Its usually really busy which is a good sign, unless you want to drop by last minute. So try to come here early or try to be lucky because they dont take reservations.Staff is friendly and professional but very busy. They will bring your order without delays but youll probably struggle getting their attention to make an order.Food is surprisingly good for the low price tag. Dont expect any extravagant dishes, but so far no e of them disappointed me.This a low cost, great bang for the buck pub.5/5

Okay, so we are sitting here in the “garden” of the place, sixth time in two weeks! Shall I continue? 😀 Well, let’s start with the staff! Great people, always nice and everyone speaks English as much as it’s necessary to serve a foreigner. But they know what they are dealing with, understanding the beers and the whisky and capable to offer based on your mood and all of them have one or two kind words too. So, now we covered the most important part, let’s talk about the rest. All the food we’ve tried were perfect, but if you are vegan, well, this is not your place to eat. The place offers a broad selection of local craft beer and some international star too, such as Belhaven, Guinness, Ferdinand, etc. All in all, we’re glad to found this not that hidden gem in Kyiv!

This place is a hidden gem. They have delicious steaks for a great price.And considering that it’s also a pub with a good atmosphere and good rock music, I think is my new favorite place to get a meal in Kiev!

This pub is one of the best pubs in Kyiv. It has excellent food selection, any alcohol you could wish (and a great beerat a reasonable price. I should also mention the overall atmosphere and music - five stars!

Probably one of the most overlooked and underrated restaurants in the center of Kiev. A nice selection on their menu but not too large of a menu so the food is never cycled. A menu with alot of meat dishes and the best, cheapest filet mignon in the city for 215 UAH. The salads look good and the biggest, best cider selection at the bar that I’ve seen so far.The ambience isn’t great because it’s just like a regular bar and listening to very loud band music in a basement on a weekend night is never fun for most people. I recommend coming here for a steak and a salad on any weekday night.But they should serve steaks in a regular steak dish and not on a wooden slab because you lose all of your steak blood juice being absorbed into the wood. A high-end proper steakhouse never serves their steaks on a wooden slab.And EDL’s Tommy Robinson is serving booze behind the bar! Awesome dude! And old man Cecil will talk your ear off all night while spitting on your face at the same time. ...damn, not again!

Its great place!!! I come back here after 4 years and for me its be like yesterdayfriendly staff and sweet place. So now this pub working 24/7 its great. And dont forget in this place every Sunday discount for steaks 40%!! Bear and ciders is very tasty!! So my best wishes for this pub and his staff, Ill be back again!)

Greatest service ever! Lovely stuff, tasty food, fancy interior

On arrival to the establishment it looked very busy and had a good atmosphere. Unfortunately we were turned away from the property even though we just wanted to enjoy a drink at the bar with empty seats. We made it clear we did not intend to eat here but still we were told to leave. It may have been misinterpretation but we felt rudely excluded.

Steaks are 50% off every Sunday, which makes this place our go-to for casual steak days.They also have a considerable selection of craft beers and ciders, which is also a nice plus.

Great place to chill out with friends. Very tasty steaks and beer, nice assortment of cider, wonderful salmon with risotto and really tasty desserts. Pleasant staff. Summer terrace is present. Totally for meat-fans, however, couple of dishes for pescetarians and vegetarians can also be found (but no vegan food available, please mind).

Good overall. Fish needs salt. Beer and service is good, but terrible for groups of more than 4 people.They won’t let you pay for what you ordered. And instead you need to calculate your our bill and pay cash.

Great place for lovers of beer and whiskey, the prices are lower than average, very popular place, crowded in the evening and early night. Best thing, works 24/7, the snacks are always good, as the beer and everything. Staff is nice. Only thing, its a pub. A classic one with old good rock music. Dont think as of a fancy place. Very good to come with friends for a beer and something stronger to have a chat about good old times.

A great place to spend a night with your friends. Nice selection of beers, including some local Ukrainian craft breweries. Good selection of whiskies, especially Scottish malts. Delicious food and of course perfect live cover bands. If you plan a visit at Friday or Saturday, I suggest you to book ahead, they are fully packed

Interesting though the name is misleading. Its just a regular restaurant with a small bar at the back and a small stage. Music was fine, generic pop/rock stuff, but no idea if they do other kinds since I only went the once.Id give it a shot again, if Im in the area.

It is a great option for those who are willing to get drunk without any disturbance. The waitress was so polite and the music was good. I really loved that they are not torturing you with stupidly high volume.

I came to this place after I landed in Kyiv and checked into a hotel next door.I was teaveling alone on business and came to this pub because the reviews were great, it looked cozy and unintimidating.I ordered a cocktail.Maybe the way is it done home, in Canada, is different from how I should have asked for it here. So when it was made differently - I let the bartender know. But kept the drink anyway.A couple of minutes later I asked him if I could order some food (I was sitting at the bar). He clearly heard me and ignored completely. I didnt make any rushed conclusions and gave it a little time. When he was near again - I asked if I could have another round - no reaction. But I know he heard me well because he actually repeated what I had said as he walked away. My next ask was for my bill. Which he smiling gave me immediately.Important to note that I started my order in English, as it has been my main language for the past 2 decades. It just naturally came out. But I switched to Russian soon through my drink order.Maybe he thought I was from Russia (I never lived in Russia). As a huge supporter of Ukraine, I can even understand his possible dislike behind me not knowing Ukrainian.But the fact remains - instead of having a great dinner after a long day, I left in a hurry - tired, hungry and humiliated.I am never coming back to this place.

Wonderful old school pub, with great food and drinks selection. The band played covers for various rock songs from 90s. For our surprise, the sound quality abd the performance were above and beyond our expectations! Service was friendly and helpful albeit a little slow. Prices are fairly low and no extra charge is made for the live performance.

A wonderful place with a lively atmosphere. They have drinks for all sorts of tastes. Live music is an essential part of this establishment. They have overnight jam sessions. The waiting staff are experts in their job. Just go there and enjoy your time. Yes, it is open 24 hours, this is not a jock.

Im loving it!This is the cozy cafe and underground bar in the historical center of Kyiv. Here you may eat a lot of local dishes at a low price and drink plenty of tasty strong and soft drinks. I advise you local ciders.Besides while you are enjoying your meal at Fridays and Saturdays you are delighted by underground music. This is not hard for your ears and is very well combined with inner atmosphere.I recommend you to visit here!
