Rock Town Distillery - Distillery in Little Rock, United States
Sydney was an extremely informative guide and was not at all shy about answering our questions. This was one of the best tours I’ve ever had of a distillery or brewery. Whoever hired Sydney needs an award!
Christian was fantastic and immense in knowledge of cocktails! My goal was to enjoy an evening of good cocktails and company at the bar and Rock Town delivered! Private parking lot and In a safe area. If you’re looking for a good time, try rock town.
Great drinks made with locally distilled spirits! Really nice staff, clean facility, occasional food trucks. What more could you ask for??
Excellent tour. Just wish we could have seen something operated. The tastings afterwards left something to be desired as you didnt even get half of a shot. $10 for drinks in the bar that werent worth it.
They have everything from cheap to expensive and even the 7.99 5ths are solid. Dog friendly as well. Overall better than expected and Ill definitely be going back
Well worth the time to do the tour.
Great tour. Great tasting. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
I absolutely love coming here! The location is great and the atmosphere is inviting. We sat down at the bar and had a couple of drinks. I had the Blues Brothers drink, and it was totally fabulous. We purchased some vodka and other beverages for the house as well. I will definitely keep coming back to this place, and I definitely recommend this place to others. Thanks.
**Tour Only**My husband paid for and participated in the 7 PM Saturday tour. The tour started promptly especially since our tour group was there on time. There were about 12 of us on tour. Not too full but enough people to make it fun! Since my husband and I asked a few questions, we got more detail into how the barrels are labeled and the aging process of their products. Afterward, we went into the room where the actual distilling process took place in which we saw the products fermentation and the machinery.Once done, we had the privilege of tasting some of their most popular products including their whiskeys and vodkas to name a few. The whiskeys are not my cup of tea - so to speak - but I had fun nonetheless. The tour was cool and informative. Not too bad.
So much fun! Thank you 😊
I took a friend to experience the tour here and it was great. Christian was the guide; he made a short tour an entertaining and informative experience.
Definitely check out one of the tours.
Christian the tour guide was amazing! He created a fun atmosphere and made us all laugh. We definitely recommend the whiskey lovers tour! My boyfriend and I had an amazing time, and learned so much.
Warm environment, well-made and creative cocktails, worth the price.
What a great place! We just stopped in to pick up some gifts I cant wait to go back and try the Bourbons. Or their drink of the day. Or theyre classes that they offer like cocktail mixing! The young man that was helping us was full of information and very helpful. They also make vodka and other spirits. Even syrup that has been stored in whiskey barrels supposed to be pretty good cant wait to try it.
A great local spot! We enjoy coming here and relaxing with the drink of the week (usually around $5/6or venturing into their delicious cocktails.Weve done the combination tour/cocktail class twice now (August and October 2021and enjoyed both Jade and Abigails tour abilities. Both are very knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning new facts even on the second tour.Lovely bartenders every time, and they have games to hang out with and were usually lucky enough to see someones dog.
Great spot to get drinks. Most of the drinks are around $10 the larger menu online has some cheaper ones. They will also make anything you would like. Everything we had was delicious. They also do flights and tastings of their liquors. Cocktails were unique and the bartenders seemed to enjoy making them and talking about the company. They have a corner opposite the bar where you can buy their liquor and some swag and gifts. Only $17 for a handle!
I directed a wedding at Rock Town this past weekend. To say that the staff (specifically Christian and Stephaniewere amazing is an understatement. The entire process of working with them during the planning stages and then implementing the plans this weekend for the wedding was a breeze. They were so easy to work with and accommodating. And the venue - the ambiance - made for a perfect wedding and reception.
Take the tour if you would like a free glass. However we drove from Memphis Old Dominick to Little Rock to taste Rock Town. I have tried Whiskey and Bourbon from Texas to the East Coast and Canada. This is the first time I found that I could not stomach what was in the glass. Tried the Arkansas flight which is $20 dollars. Each of the whiskeys were harsh with a strong resemblance to the metal containers from which they were born. I expected each to have its own character, but they were pretty similar with the exception of a mild smokiness from the Hickory Smoked Whiskey, which was the fourth and final one in the flight. The speak of using a “used whiskey barrel” and perhaps that’s were the unpleasant notes of the whiskey were coming from. A flight is designed to encourage new customers to find a product you sell that they truly enjoy. A full bottle is $40; enough said. The bar area is pretty standard and the staff is pleasant. Although they did not speak much about the different whiskeys in the flight.
Had a great time. Tour is definitely worth it. Abi knew her stuff and really made the trip worth while. Great story, great people, great bourbon.
We had a good time. The tour is totally worth it! Stephanie took care of us and made it a great experience. The coffee flavor is my new favorite.
Nice tasting roomFriendly and knowledgeable staffDrinks were perfect
Delicious distillates from locally sourced products. Very clean facility with wonderful smells throughout. Tasting room is nicely appointed, and the party room houses the aging liquors, so the smell of wood is very warm and inviting. Definitely recommend a visit when in the area.
The tour was great and we loved the tasting and all the information we learned during. All the staff were super friendly and the drinks were fantastic! I feel like the drinks are adequately priced especially since ingredients are locally sourced. We would definitely come back again! If you’re local, their cocktail classes (I think once a monthwould be really fun to attend. Great atmosphere, great staff, and great drinks!
We visited Rock Town Distillery on Wednesday, March 10 at 4:00 pm. We enjoyed our tour and Christian was informative, fun, entertaining and obviously LOVES his position! Unexpectedly, we also met Phil, the visionary owner in the new bottling set up. Just as Christian had earlier described, he was engaging, humble and we wish him all the very best. What a bonus to Little Rock--Congratulations!!!
Really awesome distillery. We were early for a tour so we enjoyed cocktails at the bar beforehand. Both were excellent. The tour and tasting was fun and our guide Abi was very knowledgeable and fun. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and tasting and will definitely come back the next time were in Little Rock.
The only distillery to be found in Little Rock and it does not disappoint. The tour was informative and the tasting that followed was enjoyable. The cocktails that are made onsite are also delicious. In addition to the tour, I believe Rock Town offers a cocktail making class, but I have yet to participate so I cannot say for certain. Would highly recommend for visiting as well as stocking your liquor cabinet.
Absolutely stunning interior. We didnt have time to taste anything or take the tours (started at 2 pm and we were avoiding bad weather). But, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and had plenty of advice for those of us who are newly initiates to whiskey (Ill try to update this when I have a better idea of how good their drinks are).
Absolutely love this place! The decor and atmosphere is welcoming and had a speakeasy vintage feel but still modern vibe. The Bourbons were so smooth and delish! We also had a Tom Collins and Old Fashion both so good. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable! Could of stayed all day! Ended up bringing home 2 bottles of bourbon.
We have been here many many times so it’s a bit shocking I haven’t reviewed yet. We’ve always had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about not only their products, but the process of making them. The bourbons they have are delicious. The tours are not expensive at all and very immersive and informative. It’s one of my husband and I’s favorites places to frequent in Little Rock. They’re also pet friendly! We bring our cats there with us every time 🥰 (Some pictures are pre-covid so that is why there is no masks)
The tour is fantastic...very informative. Love the history. The tasting room is roomy and comfortable. Friendly staff that follows COVID guidelines perfectly.
Ive been to quite a few distilleries. It is quite rare to find one that has this many different types of whiskies on hand. Even rarer to find good ones across that wide of a range. We tried 4 of the highest rated: bourbon, barley, rye and rice whiskeys. Each was excellent and exceeded our expectations! The Barley Whiskey was rich and flavorful and distinct from the herd by a long stretch. Unique and deliciously akin to a great Scotch. Still reminiscent of bourbon but it mitigates out the corn sweetness with the depth of barley richness. 95 points indeed! The rye whiskey is my new favorite! It has the heat and the spice and complexity to stand up to mixing and sipping it straight. Each taste brought out some new elements. Stunningly complex and well worth having more of! Well done!
One of the best tasting evenings weve had. The whole staff at Rock Town distillery were very welcoming, kind and very knowledgeable about all of the drinks on offer. The tasting tour was worth it and we definitely recommend if youre stopping in town! Its also worth browsing in the gift shop to see (and taste moreand grab a few bottles to take home. The decor and atmosphere is amazing as well. P.s. dont do it on an empty stomach! The bar snacks came in handy!
The tour was just amazing, very informative, but of course the tasting is the best part of any tour. Definitely got to try out some great product that I didnt even know existed being from Dallas myself. Definitely a great find and ended up leaving with a bottle of their sour mash. Will visit again next time i am in Little Rock
Had a good time on a tour here - and delicious samples at the end. Learned a fair bit from our tour guide, too. I recommend both the tour and the spirits, which they sell seven days a week.
$5 old fashions on Wednesday’s. $5 old fashions on Wednesday’s. $5 old fashions on Wednesday’s.Bartenders are great. Other drinks were good as well. Cool atmosphere. Very easy. Great spot whenever you need a chill time.
For connoisseurs great experience. Loved every bit of the tour.
Lovely place. Friendly bar staff! They made me a mocktail off the menu which us non-drinkers with drinker friends will appreciate. I just told the waitress that I like ginger and she made something delicious based on just that! Plus the inside is very cute to boot. The drink in the picture is: grapefruit juice, honey ginger syrup and ginger beer.
The product was awesome! My only complaint is, you are only allowed 1 cocktail before a tour. We arrived an hour before and wish we would of been told this.
Incredible service, and great spirits. The hickory smoked bourbon and their single malt was incredible.
This place is so fun! We took a great tour of the distillery and had some really good cocktails afterwards. The entire staff is super fun and friendly. Rock Town is definitely my favorite brand for vodka and after taking this tour I learned that the rest of their liquors are just as good. Loved being able to tour this place and get to know the staff.
Jade was our spirit guide, she was amazing and very informative! My husband and I went for our anniversary and I would highly recommend the tour, totally worth the money and a great experience. Very welcoming atmosphere and everyone is very helpful and laid back. Extremely reasonable pricing at the bar and the spirits for sale. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back.
What a very nice distillery! Tour is good, tasting is excellent of all their products. Im a bourbon lover but wound up buying their whiskey cause its pretty damn Good! They have a nice bar area on site too. Nice to be able to have a tour and then spend some time at the bar
Doing the tour of brewerys and distillerys in Little Rock. Started here with a morning Spicy Bloody Mary. Was excellent!
Cool bar, have games such as uno, jenga, chess, checkers, connect four. And all your regular drinks plus their own moonshine. Cool different place
We visited this distillery on a rainy day while traveling through Little Rock. It’s a very nice establishment with a full service bar. We tried a few cocktails and played some board games and had a great time!
I had a scheduled tour with a business group (rough right?and really enjoyed my visit. Yes, I have to admit, it was my first trip to a distillery so I have nothing to compare to, but the folks at Rock Town set the bar high. Our tour was directed by Phil Brandon, owner, and I enjoyed hearing from the man who had the vision for this venture in the first place. He not only knows his liquor but he knows business. The tasting afterward was great. I had the opportunity to try almost all the products except the Hickory Smoked Whiskey which was completely out. Looks like Ill need to come back for that! I think my favorite was the Apple Pie Lightning. Im a vodka drinker and I enjoyed tasting Brandons vodka. I was also sure to enjoy it in several drinks at the bars around town during my visit! The bottling parties might be one of the smartest ideas Ive seen in a long time - invite friends in and make them do the work - customers are thrilled with their own little cocktail party and the Distillery is thrilled with the free labor :Great place to visit while in Little Rock.
This was on my list of places to check out while in LR. We came in a bit before the 4 pm tour and tasting and that is ideal. Plenty of parking and seating. Its kid and pet friendly too. Very cozy, great staff and a fun experience if you enjoy liquor. Add this micro-distillery to your list if youre looking for something different. We are bringing back a ton more bottles back home than we planned for! 😁
Great new location. Now with a full bar. Good selection of their own spirits and cocktails, along with 6 regional microbrews. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.
Went here for the first time tonight. Very good quality tour. I’ve been on several other distillery tours in Kentucky and the knowledge is right up there with the big distilleries. Our guide Christian and other employee Rob did an excellent job and I would recommend a stop by the store. It’s a small distillery and a small operation but they do quality work in my opinion. And like all the other distilleries I’ve been to not all the tastings are to my pallet but I did find a new vodka and another bourbon that I’m taking home.
