Food are delicious and fresh! Rich mushroom soup and mozzarella pizza are perfect! Only service need to improve.

This restaurant located at the run down building. The parking is so dark and narrow. Many shop are closed down too. The food average about Rm40+ per plate which is overpriced with this food quality.

While looking for a place to eat in Hartamas, I came across Rock Salt with 4.7 rating. Looking at the pictures and menu, it is kind of Fusion Mongolian food with a modern twist. Went for it. Ordered Caeser Salad which I think they should name it Ghenghis Khan Salad, Mongolian Spiced Lamb Pizza, Orange Roughy Fish on salt slab, Ribeye on steak stone, Mongolian Fried Rice and Stone Stupa lookalike desserts. Overall excellent first experience. Service is good. Bravo...❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wow this place. The lamb shank is delicious, as was the mushroom soup. But the star is undoubtedly the steak: we had the medallion on a hot stone, cooked the medium rare. And you can still cook the beef to your preferred doneness on the stone. They also have certain specialty dishes that requires a 1 day advance order. Service is impeccable.

Tried the barramundi, fish was tender and fresh and cooked with a myriad of aromatic spices n ingredients though size could be bigger. Lamb was soft with a hint of truffle oil in the potato mash. Mongolian lamb pizza was a disappoiment though, few chunks of tough meat.

Had a hard time deciding what to eat in Plaza Damas but stumbled upon this by chance. Was beyond expectation as the Mongolian-western eatery had superb menu choices as well as a large selection of wines and cocktails to pair it up with. The menu is amazing and excellent for the whole family from kebabs, fish and meat dishes, pasta and more. Their steak and fish dishes which i tried was as good as any French dish out there and the kids love the pasta and wraps. This is a gem of a restaurant and quite hidden from the mall but accessible from the main inner road, really a diamond in the rough.

had an anniversary dinner, before we head out the floor manager surprised us with their signature bread pudding (freakin loving it). Whole Sea Bass on top of rock salt is A-Must!

Great ambiance & service. Ordered the Greenland Halibut Fillet on salt slab + the Almond & Macademia for dessert. Absolutely loved it & would definitely return to try other dishes. The only disappointing bit was the over-seasoned crisscross fries served alongside the fish.

Fusion kind of western cooking. Recommend garden salad and also pasta in coconut with prawn. Exotic and original cooking.

Loved the ambience and also the food. Waiters were helpful in recommending the main courses. Loved the rock salt ceaser salad ; grilled lamb; lava stone cooked meat and the mud cake dessert . Overall the food was good and child friendly too.Do give it a try...no regrets

Delightful place, delicious food, great ambience. We ordered grass fed beef and Caesar salad. All the foods were delicious 😋 No regrets and will go back again to try other ethnic food.

Had a Christmas dinner here last night as I was excited about the steak cooked on the hot stone. It turns out to be great & didn’t disappoint. My rib eyes steak was juicy and grilled to almost perfection but my GFs Sirloin was a little overcooked as we requested for medium. Nevertheless, the service was great! Staffs are attentive and cater to all of our needs. The manager is very friendly & even got us gingerbread cookies when we finished dining.

Had dinner at this delightful little restaurant. Recommended by a friend. The place is tastefully decorated, nice ambience, friendly staff and great service. The highlight was the grass fed ribeye steak grilled on a hot lava stone, and their Authentic Khorkhog - lamb cooked with hot lava stone. The steak was grilled to perfection and paired nicely witha touch of truffle mushroom sauce. The lamb was tender and juice, full of flavour. Had the almond & macadamia ground nuts chocolate meringue with lemon lime ice cream, a perfect ending to a delicious meal. Will definitely return to try the other ethnic delights.

Delightful place, delicious food, great ambience and friendly service. Was introduced this place by a friend. No regrets and will go back again to try other ethnic food. Highlight this time was their steak and their Authentic Khorkhog lava stone cooked lamb.

The service is excellent, food is well prepared with an elegant presentation. Great selection of wine & dessert. Not forgetting the Bose speakers and lovely music. Overall I loved the restaurants ambience. It was a perfect date night for me. Would definitely come again to try the other dishes on the menu. I ordered the cod and grain fed beef for main, upside down pear cake with ice cream for dessert & a bottle of Chilean CabSav. All of the above were delicious.

Very friendly staff and beautiful setting for dinner. Had the golden pomfret, duck salad and stuffed barramundi. Barramundi was fantastic, golden pomfret delicious but nothing special, duck salad was fine. Expect to spend about RM 35-75 per main and saw a lot of people having wine (I didn’tbut it looks like there’s some good wine options.Would recommend this place.

After visiting our clients we search great food near me on the google. The first shown up is this rock salt hence we come. FANTABULOUS PLACE ! We came to this place for Sunday branch ! I brought my mother here for her birthday dinner. The owner was very nice, the waiters are very observant and gives very good service. The food is amazing. Really good, especially the beef on the marble block. The taster menu is also a good try, it’s also at a discounted RMCO price. The desserts were amazing and out of the world. The price is on the high side but it’s worth it and quite reasonable for the amount given.

Reasonably priced and great service for dining in. Had the rib eye steak on a hot plate. You can cook your own steak, or ask the waiter to help you with it.Had the mud cake for dessert. It was good.

The host is friendly and gracious, and if it is a special day like an anniversary of birthday, youll get a treat too! Just call for a reservation and mention your special day. Oh and try the sizzling steaks, seriously worth every cent.

One of my favorite place now in kl..i love the food there..especially their wonderfull Cesar salad with a correct dressing served with poached fried quail eggs and grilled chicken stripes.You will find good lamb shank in a pot,as well meat grilled on hot salt stone. Nice fish with tasty spices, some pizza and pastas with Mongolian herbs.As well salads variety with quinoa+++The wall of the room are made of Rock salt from Himalaya with light going trough..A place to try!

Superb 👍👍👍probably the BEST restaurant in KL!!! The best Stone grilled beef I have ever tasted, the meat is so tender and with intense favour. The salt plate grilled fish is also very nice. Service is attentive and caring. Foods was amazing and delicious. Menu’s like Mongolian lamb pizza, lamb shank, grilled sea bass, stone grilled beef, salt plate grilled fish and the dessert almond and macadamia was extremely superb. Service and price also excellent and reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful which always suggest what do we want to eat. Recommended to visit with family and friends.

A hidden gems in KL, we supposed to have a dinner at other restaurant but when we passed by this restaurant and asking for direction, the staff was very helpful and show us the way and finally we decided to give a trial on this restaurant. Our choice was very right for the night, we enjoyed the delicious foods that they served, like the Mongolian Lamb, Orange fish and wagyu beef too, even the Ceaser salad also great. Staffs were all very very friendly and keep it up. Sure will be back soon to try other dishes.
