Rock Cave, slot canyon - Hiking area in Kolar, India
This slot canyon-like structure is a unique experience. I havent been to such a cave wherein I had to undergo such an adventurous and rigorous climb/trek through huge boulders. There was an experienced guide who took us through the cave since figuring out the way to get through the cave isnt straight forward and one will get lost if they do traverse it for the first time/alone. The cave is a must visit for adventure lovers.
Make sure to book your tickets from the gov.site
Best place to visit if youre a trek lover. You treking journey starts from climbing few step to temple. From temple to hill you have to pay for entry with that youll get local guide which cost you 150-200 rupees. They will show you one cave 1 falls. If you are not a trek lover you can travel through vehicle from the other road and dont miss to visit ADIMA it is in the same road and one more ancient Shiva temple also there.
Must see
Great place
Awesome trekking experience
Best place for visit
Wow we got lost and had to wait for other team to show us a way out haha nice experience
Nice place
Best place for trekking in bangaluru
One of best places. Visit only if you are physically fit. Monkeys are crazy in the entrance. But they won’t bite.
Super
Awesome
I visited on 5 Dec, but cant reach. Currently there is police , prohibited, because of illegal activities.
Getting to the hill by walk would be very adventurous
Nice place for 1 day trip and its like small tracking…
Enjoyed the trek over here. For 1st timers, climb up to the temple. At the top, there is an entrance to the hike. You gets guides over there. 250/head. Worth the spend. Wear proper shoes with a good sole; youll have some slippery rocks ahead.
You must go in to the water caves
Go and enjoy the moment of memories n dont miss the chance
A very adventurous trail. The caves can be found after some trekking and its better to go in groups to properly explore the caves.
The place is superb. Water coming from bull mouth. Temple. And rock cave extreme superb beware of snakes And bear but go with mob dont alone . Entrance hill trek is right side of temple. If you want to go for treking book online only no direct entry but there is no officials to stop you. Some boys wait at entry point they will tell you that no direct entry. if you want to go then pay 200 to me about instead of govt only fees 250 per head. And there is no direction to trek that is the major. But mystery is cave be careful. Govt has to improve so much . If improved this is the no 1 tourist attraction of kolar district
Hike duration is about two hours
Nice temple on hill, and need to trek further up paying Entry fees to see caves. Good experience going through caves though looks tough but may be possible. Going in Water caves require some experience. Overall a good place for 1 day trip from Bengaluru. Plenty of monkeys, avoid carrying food items openly.
Sunday and a perfect trekking. What else u want. Yaa ,be careful of choosing what u are wearing, cause there are so many spiney plants. Otherwise its all good. For day trekking
One of the Best Places 💯🍃🗻
Nice place to get the experience of trekking ..
Very Adventurous place for an family outing.
One of the best places near to Bengaluru. This is the place where you can find Shiva temple for blessings and you have to climb few steps for temple then trekking for 1-2 km for view point, then one of the best thing at this place is caves. Exploring those caves will give new experience & thriller.Dont miss to visit Antaragange Caves.
A very beautiful place. Will recommend for treakers

Super peace speachless
Good
Good place for trekking and cave exploration and unique experience , plan early morning or little late at evening , carry torch and water bottle , full sleeve and tracks recommend
Not a real cave, not like the ones ideally known to all... Trekking is still okay but not worth the bet... Not good while its very sunny... But definitely dangerous when it rains... Go during the weekends or on holidays... Otherwise its pretty deserted 🤠
Nice place for a short trek. You can explore the caves too. Guide is advised to maneuver the caves. If you reach the top by 5 you can catch the city of lights waking up to a beautiful sunrise!
Amazing trekking place near Banglore, It was sa great experience. Please be prepared before going to this place, carry enough water & food.Wear good shoes as it is fully hill (big stones)If necessary take guide so u can cover all the caves because it is very risky.
Very nice and adventurous
Not an easy hike but its fun.. I have been here for a night trek and it was reasonably good...
Beautiful place. Amazing experienceWe went on an early morning trek. It was very dark, and calm and peaceful. It was a bit scary too, as there was not another person to be seen anywhere. We were prepared with torches and it was a wonderful experience climbing. The view of City lights far, was beautiful and we took some time enjoying the view. On reaching the top, we were all alone there, and got to lay on rock top, peacefully. That was an amazing experience. The main idea was to watch sunrise, but that day, it was cloudy.Anyway, after sometime, when it got bright, more people started coming, and it started getting loud there.Few local guides came up to us and offered to take us through the caves. We went for that, and that was a really thrilling experience, climbing up rocks, and sliding through small gaps in the rocks.By the end, we paid them around 100rs per person, and left. I think we could have done with a lesser amount, but anyways...
Such an amazing place...
Loved the experience of cave exploration at Anthargange
Wear shoes, carry water and flashlight
Intricate caves, slot canyon like structures formed by big boulders. Use local guides, otherwise difficult to find and explore. Wear shoes and carry a flashlight or phone with flashlight. Full sleeve shirts and long pants will help prevent scratches from rocks.Strenuous workout from clambering up and down rocks. Kids will need assistance at several spots.
