I am struggling to find the words to emphasis just how incredible Robertas was for our wedding. We had a very intimate wedding of 26 people in Cityhall in October. It was a no brainer on where to go for our wedding meal, Robertas has always served high standard food, fabulous cocktails with a cool New York style setting, which is exactly the kind of vibe we wanted for our wedding .From the start to finish everything ran so smoothly. The food was incredible, there was a great selection and something to suit everyone, we were so well catered for, nothing was a problem,Ourselves and our guests were looked after like celebrities! The food was mouth watering! Every dish was beautifully presented, looked and smelt amazing, the staff were concerned when there was some steak remaining on a few plates, but it was genuinely because the steak was massive! There was no skimping on quality or portion size. The management were so accommodating to let the wedding decor stylists in to set up and to collect at a time that suited them.I think the manager Henerique shared our excitement to see the Grattan Room transformed into a vibrant, electric, wonderland.A special thank you to all the staff, who were all so on the ball, so friendly and every guest was looked after so well for the whole night. The food was delicious as always, the timing between course was perfect and everyone raved about how tasty every course was. It was all just perfect! Thank you!
MoreAnother lovely experience. Great atmosphere. Lovely food and the service was excellent. A regular spot for a great Saturday night. See you soon!
MoreHad a pleasant time with friends there. Not sure if it would suit for a romantic dinner though as place is a bit loud.Food is lovely, got the 4 cheese pizza and I can’t complain. Service was quick considering how busy it was that night.
MoreWe went for lunch. My issue wasnt the quality of the food, service or the atmosphere. It was the brunch menu and what was on offer. Otherwise it was good. I had a chicken burger (which wasnt on the menu 😂and it was very tasty. Would go back for the evening menu
MoreIts an amazing place. Classy with a casual feeling.Pizza is delicious and wine superb. Highly recommended.
MoreGreat and beautiful pub. I was in a event in this place and I have lot of fun. Staff very kind and good bartenders whom makes the best drinks. The place look amazing.
MoreGreat choice of dishes and fantastic cocktails but what really makes Roberta’s stand out amongst its neighbour restaurants is its staff and special thank you to Henrique for his professional service and sense of humour.
MoreService was bad, food was good, pre ordered and half of the sides didnt turn up. Wouldnt return based on my experience.Edit: Appreciate the reply from owner, thanks
MoreGreat place for drinks or gatherings with friends. The interior surprises you with the coziness and great lighting in the night. With the access to the terrace and the bar, you can have a really good time there.
MoreThis place is a must go. Loved the staff and the food! The place is so beautiful. Please order the goat cheese starter and the bread with butter as well. I am sure you are going to love it.
MoreBeen here couple of times and food is always amazing..wine was lovely too.. recommend this place but be prepared for 12.5% service charge
MoreTldr; Expensive, but food is worth more than they charge.Chose this randomly as it was close to an event I was attending. When I first took everything in, I thought I was going to be fleeced due to the prices and the fancy culinary wording they used (I do think the terms used are over the top), but I kept being amazed by every dish I tried. I am rarely satisfied paying so much for a meal, but I would pay it again without hesitation. Pasta was cooked to perfection, flavours balanced wonderfully, quality ingredients treated well. Great experience overall.
MoreThe interior space is very nice and that seems to be the big highlight of the restaurant. The food was good, but nothing exceptional if Im honest. Everyone was happy with their brunch in my group but we seemed to be on the same page "the food is grand but Ive had better". The desserts are utterly overpriced (€10 for icecream 💁). Me and my group ended up going somewhere else for dessert 🤣 I think it is worth 4 stars just to drink some cocktails and enjoy the ambience. The food would probably be 3 stars. Maybe if we had ordered pizza it would have been nicer. But the idea was brunch so pizza was not my first pick that day. Not sure Id go back again but it is worth a first visit anyway
MoreGreat service and atmosphere. We ordered the pizza and it came fairly quickly and it measured About 14-16" across. Very tasty and unique combinations for all their pizzas.
MoreDont be put off by the outside. Believe me the inside is a surprise. Food is excellent. Do you like a cocktail? Its the place to go. Staff are wonderful, comfortable seating and noise levels low so go place to meet up with friends.
MoreA good nice place with a good view and the food are gorgeous. It is nice to go to friends and enjoy a nice food. I order four cheese pizza with a pint of Orchard Tieves
MoreWhat a place. I was there to photograph a wedding but its somewhere I want to go back to for a meal for sure. Such a cool environment. Very friendly staff and great food!
MoreThe place is really nice, great atmosphere, nice clientèle amd the staff were really nice and great service, but it was average at best, Yhe reason...... the menu is uninteresting, the pizzas were bland with minimal toppings, the pasta dishes were nice but you could make them at home.
MoreIn all my years working in hospitality and regularly dining out, have never experienced a more horrific failure in customer service.I was basically told off by the manager for making a complaint about poor service and a rude waiter. I wanted to order a drink at the bar since I couldnt get anyones attention (manager and co-worker chatting away with backs turned to us whole time), the waiter at the bar would not assist in ordering my drink when I explained that I couldnt order, made a rude gesture and comment to me, then stormed off. Complained to the manager and was told he didnt need to give me an explanation after he spoke with this waiter. We were then threatened by the manager that police will be called if we continued with our complaint, which blew my mind away. Our party left without eating and even paid for the drinks we did not finish. Manager did nothing to try de-escalate the situation. Made a formal complaint to Press Up group which is the conglomerate that owns this restaurant, never received any resolution.Update 17th Aug: As expected, nothing done from the manager after the comment below. And no reply from Press Up group, avoid their restaurants.
Morewow fantastic wedding venue what a place fabulous food best wedding meal ever and absolutely professional staff. I have no problem recommending this place such a great experience
MoreWe had a great dinner and had a waiter called George who took real good care of us. I would recommend this place to get away from the hussel of the Temple Bar but still be close enough to walk through it. The glass roofed cocktail bar is a superb center piece and the little outdoor area is a special place to dine.
MoreI actually love this restaurant a lot 💕 ambiance, food, staffs, service are always great and they’re very considerate. Looking forward to being there soon 🤩
MoreGreat menu. Ok food. Awesome front desk staff. Waiter was responsive. Cocktails were bad. Poorly made Bloody Mary and whiskey sour. Nice rose wine. Baby Guinness’s made wrong. Great atrium. Expensive for the quality we received. Final note to the bearded barman with the sleeve tattoo and dangly earring, a whole star went just for you being so mean to my lovely friend. She nicely and gently came to the bar from our table after she arrived to ask for a coke. She is diabetic and asked for your help as she was getting faint. Rather offensive that not only did you not help, but you were rude to her. Very poor humanity let alone service…. Really undecided if I would support this venue again after such a mixed experience.
More12.5 % service charge for bad service. We were 5 adults + 1 infant and we had to wait to get the menus and order a bottle of water for 20 mins. The receptionist (femalewas very rude. She was passing by with the menus (for another table), when we told her that we were ready to see the menus and order she got agressive and told us that she was not a waitress, I dont know how we were supposed to know that. She didnt care at all and we had to wait for a waiter for 20 mins. This is not the first time of this receptionist, people are not coming there to see her angry face. Hope you share this feedback with her and pay more attention to who youre hiring as staff. 2 stars for the chef and the server.
MoreBest dinner experience so far in Dublin. Very kind people, beautiful stylish and spacious place. Ladies bathroom also very nice, clean and they have hygiene products for the girls as well.
MoreI have been there many times and it never disappoints. Went for brunch today, and my gosh the food was amazing, nevertheless the service, top notch. Gabriel was very attentive and kind with us. Thank you!!!
MoreWasnt 3* I would score it as 3.5* but as I cant, I would say its closer to 3 then to 4 unfortunatelyReason for that would be that we had few small issues with waiters not understanding us what we wanted clearly. My wife get wrong drink and reply from waiter was that she wasnt clear enough what she wanted. No offer was done to replace the drink free of charge or even to charge the new one. Second incident was, one of our friends he asked waiter how much is this drink and point to the drink he was asking for, waiter said let me check that for you and he went and bring the drink to us even without us ordering it, again same response we werent clear enough, when simple questions was asked how much is it,not can we get another one.For paying end of the night €28 for tips that we couldnt choose and it was mandatory, I would expect to have perfect service, then tip would have sense.I honestly think that would be an issue of really loud music in dining table part,as we barely were able to talk across the table. There was 8 of us and we couldnt have normal conversation for my wife birthday just with the person besides you.Food was decent, was expected bit more from pizza as Italy is famous about good pizza. So slightly disappointed on that part,as the middle of my pizza was almost like a soup and it was hard to eat it, as pizza is meant to eat - with hands.I would come back again to give another chance and try other type of food
MoreWow, just wow. 5/5! Pink Ovens FTW. Outdoor vibes, hanging bottles, Carbonara glory. Come and try!
MoreRobertas was so close to getting 5/5 from me. The interior is amazing, the staff were so nice and friendly and the food was unbelievable (best gnocchi I’ve ever had!). The only thing that was a slight let down was the cocktails. I felt they were all just variations of eachother and were very basically presented, they did taste nice. Overall will definitely be back.
MoreHad a birthday dinner for my wife and our friends here last weekend, 13 of us in all. We had a lovely private room in the restaurant with great views of the Liffey. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful especially Exin, who went above and behind to make sure it all ran smoothly. Food was really excellent and we had a table reserved at the bar afterwards. Thank you Roberta’s. A great evening, would highly recommend this restaurant.
MoreFood is absolutely terrible. We were 5 people, two of them asked for a burger, and one had to be returned as the bun was hard as a stone. The staff kindly brought a new fresh burger. Both people that had the burger got sick afterward and still after two days!. The pudding of the full Irish dish was as dry as esparto grass, and the benedict eggs tasteless. It is a pity that such a lovely place has that terrible food. The brunch menu is as simple as it looks very difficult to make it that bad. I dont think it would pass a restaurant health inspection.
MoreThe interior is nice, but noisy. The music is loud and the crowd makes it even worse. Perhaps we are too old for this place. The food was a pleasant surprise. Almost gourmet quality. Well made, tasty and good looking. Not very many waiters. They were busy, but handled their job nicely. Good value.
MoreI got the pork belly and seabream and it was probably the most bland meal I had during a week and a half in Dublin. The presentation was beautiful, but the taste just wasnt there. Based on the food, Im guessing youre paying for the ambiance and to me it just wasnt worth it.
MoreAmazing atmosphere, incredible staff and superb food. We went there on a Saturday night was a DJ playing for the guests which became a little bit noisy but wasnt a problem at all. I highly recommend this place. Hope come back soon.
MoreThe best pizza in dublin! Very nice waiters. The drinks were amazing! I can recommend!
MoreAbsolutely amazing place with great cuisine. Staff, drinks and also food was totally amazing. Thank you very much.👌
MoreLoved the vibe, perfect for a weekend brunch with friends. The Bloody Mary is really good and the pancakes are excellent. Ill have to go back and try the parmesan fries that looked yummy.
MoreReally like the place! The restaurant with the bar in the middle is simply fantastic, you can go there and grab a drink if you do not want to dine. Menu is interesting, you have a good selection of meat, fish and vegetarian options. Cocktails are well prepared so make sure you get one. I have not tired the pizza but looks good. Atmosphere is cool, recommended!!
MoreThe place is pleasing to the eyes. Great place if youre taking someone to a date I think. The cocktails are very good. I recommend their Irish Maid or Red / Green if you want non alcoholic. The pasta, pizza, and sides were very good as well. Just book in advance, especially if youre a large group, as they are always full.
MoreWas there with a group dinner so perhaps we had a unique dining experience. The food was very slow with almost 2 hours after our order before our meals. I had the sea bass which was just ok, others had the Sirloin steak and felt it was dry and over cooked. They had an excellent chocolate dessert but ran out of the other offerings. Overall disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber
More- Central Dublin City location- Unassuming exterior, beautiful exposed brick and lamp light inside an airy plaza, a magnificent bar in the centre and an eye into the bustling kitchen, perfect for dusk-time dining- Brought beautiful soft bread & butter to the table while we waited, an unexpected & pleasant surprise- Let us taste the wine before ordering before pouring it for us- Excellent Garganelli pasta- Lovely & attentive service with a smile, regularly coming back to table to check everything was ok- Let me charge my phone behind reception with my own fast charger- Beautiful bathrooms- A warm blast of air when going in and out of the main dining area (including to/from bathrooms)- Each table has a private rack to hang your coats
MoreOne of the best hollandaise sauces I’ve tried in Dublin! Nice ambiance, classic brunch food, and really kind staff. Would love to go back.
MoreLocated on Dublins Temple bar, Robertas presents nothing but a door and a logo at street level however once you head on up you are treated to a bright and fairly expansive, stylishly decorated restaurant and bar area. If you fancy the Al fresco there is also the trendy terrace area. They easily accommodated all 6 of our work group. The staff were very friendly and chatty if not a bit scarce when we first arrived (and the area was fuller. The menu is both compact and varied, although one colleague was disappointed the "regular" / non vegan burgers are only available on the brunch menu.I had the ham hock starter with pickled vegetables. It had good texture and taste, and pretty large as far as starters go. Followed by the crispy seabass with rosemary potatoes. The sea bass was perfectly cooked, crispy skinned but still light and flaky and incredibly tasty. The dish was a little let down by the vegetables which were just a bit past perfect and unfortunately cold. The cheese board was huge and shared between 2 of us. The cocktail selection was fun and extensive, although I was a little confused as to why the entire of the outside of my glass needed to be coated in sugar. It was unfortunate that the night was so brief due to the government guidelines, we would have surely stayed to sample more of the cocktails.
MoreLovely place for brunch right at the end of temple bar. The decor is amazing and give a very new York kind of feel. Brioche French toast and Belgian waffle with fried ice cream was super tasty.
MoreStaff are sound and very accommodating, restaurant itself it nice, open airy modern industrial style. Mains were pretty good and reasonable. Drink was quite expensive, the deserts let it down a bit. But still a pleasant visit.
MoreThe highlight of this place is the buzzing ambience with great cocktails. My favourite was the Azalea gardens (You cant have just 1). For those who love a great taste but want to take it slow, try their Low ABV cocktails, its promising. Slightly on an expensive side, the date nights are worth it!
MoreThis is my 3rd time in Roberta’s, but first time for brunch. It lived up to expectations again! I ordered the baked eggs which were delicious and perfectly cooked. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back
MoreAmazing atmosphere. Amazing food. Amazing drinks. You can’t go wrong going here. We had dinner the night before leaving Dublin. The inside is very upscale but casual. You can go in a pair of jeans or a suit. The layout of the restaurant offers plenty of seating options. Loved this restaurant!
MoreCool and well - decorated bar restaurant in the heart of Dublin! Out waiter was very friendly and accommodating for our requests. The service was timely and the food was of high quality. The bar area is also very nice and allows for conversation. Recommended when in Dublin!
MoreAmazing venue, nice music, nice drinks and a really nice place to go with family or friends. You really need to book in advance, otherwise you wont be able to get a table. The food is amazing with super high quality and prices are quite competitive (around €25 for a meal without alcohol). The staff is nice but we have had bad service in one of the times we visited for brunch. There is also an outside area where you can smoke and is nice for rainy days as it is covered.
