Robbinsdale Park in Lead

This is a fun park and my kids really like it but one huge complaint would be why do you still use pea gravel its dangerous for the children when there is way better play ground surfaces available for use.

Never found the dog park lots of grass paved walking trails baseball field, picnic tables..

Great place to spread out and find a quiet place to relax!

Extremely well manicured with beautiful lush, grassy lawns. Plenty of shade in which to enjoy the carpet-like flora. Clearly, much pride is taken in the upkeep of the grounds.Paved one mile jogging/walking track with convenient cut-throughs. Pet friendly with off-leash areas. Covered pavilions and multiple restroom facilities. Two playgrounds. There is also a kids bike/BMX course. Probably 20-30 picnic tables are randomly scattered throughout the park.From the highest point, beautiful vista views of the Black Hills.

It is a nice park, I was surprised that the roadway was altered.

Kids always love going to Robbinsdale Park!! Big open play ground areas and lots of parking!

Love this park whether it’s to hang out and just listen to music and take a nap or it’s to walk around. I love the park i general and so does my kiddo!

The setup seemed a little weird, the only picnic tables with the wind blocked at all are by reservation

We found two sets of playground equipment on the north end of the park. One is especially good for little ones. (Theres a swing set and a pavilion with picnic tables next to it The other is something bigger kids will enjoy a little more.

Very nice place for bmx and get together. They have swing sets and a few lil buildings for potlucks/parties

Nice park, well kept, and right next to some nice walking paths.It seems to always have someone in it as I noticed a good number of dog walkers occupy the nice greenery.It has a pavilion for gatherings and additional grills for the perfect days.

I didnt feel very safe walking my senior dog. Everybody lets their dogs run off leash

Excellent! One of my favorite places to walk and give my dog an opportunity to put some miles on! Nice, paved walking path with well-spaced trash cans and benches. Thank you Rapid City Parks for the upgrades and for keeping this place in shape.

What a great park, it has a bmx and a pump track, multiple ball fields, a basketball court, paved walking paths, pavilions and playgrounds.

There is a big open field and a nice long walking path to go on. Rapid City needs a FENCED-IN dog park. A real dog park. In fact, more than just 1. But this is a nice spot regardless. I just cant let my dogs loose to run.

I enjoy going there for the quiet, birds, walking trail and picnic areas. Very nice.

Wonderful setting, huge off leash clean up after pet dog park with several little stations with a garbage disposal and free pet waste bags. Cool in city park .

Robbinsdale Park used to be a place I wouldnt recommend at night unless you had a weapon to defend yourself. It was very shady and often times drug deals were rampant. However it has drastically changed. Park is very clean amd even added an amazing BMX Park. Theybalso have redone many of the baseball fields and all look very nice. I didnt spend much time late at night but from what I saw I believe the park is overall drastically improved.

Had a memorial service for my beloved sister. The photo is a traditional soup, a delicacy made from dried meat (pemmicanthat the Lakota call bah-pah, mixed with wild turnips that we call timpsila, and we add hominy & dry corn that we call wash-tunkala. Most native gatherings offer this yummy soup. ❤️Perfect place for families with children. Kids loved it. But the restrooms were locked.

Nice park with beautiful green grass and it has nice things for kids to play with.

Older kids ( middle school agehang out and are ornery to little kids. I wont be taking my grandson back there.

What a beautiful & family friendly park. Two years ago, EXiT Realty Black Hills "adopted" Robbinsdale Park. Once a month our agents & staff gather there to provide litter cleanup. Rapid City P&R is dedicated to maintaining & improving all of the parks. Today, heavy equipment was doing commercial level work preparing for the summer season.I welcome you & your business to adopt a park also. Its the feel-good thing to do.

Awesome for all ages.2 different age griup playground sets. Seperate basket ball court. All spread out.

Nice playground area. Clean and not to many bugs.

Its a great place to go to chill out or go and have fun and since its up hill there a lot of breeze so its just a nice place to be.

Lovely park, has swings, slide, and a big building thing for the adults to sit.I go for the pokestop thats there. Its a gym, and throughout the road theres 4 stops total

This park is so boring, and you can barely skate on it, I recommend making a skatepark here so that more people can come, and more people can rate this place, and also I will give 5 stars just for it, but for now its a 1 star

I came here at 8pm in the summer but all the picnic area and restrooms were closed without any notice.

The park is well mentioned and have great grass area, a couple of playgrounds and baseball courts. The only thing missing is shade (there are almost no trees where the paths are).

Beautiful park in south Rapid City. More was promised for the recent improvement project but did not happen. Hopefully that can be changed in the future.

Great paved walking path through the park and a nice grassy area + play ground.

There was plenty of room for our gathering. It was well kept and clean. Accessibility was great.

Two different parks at this location. One for smaller children, one for bigger. Actual bathrooms and water fountains. Places to take a walk. Good central location.

Large park that could be so much better if the park officials would replace both kids playground equipment and give pavilions and restrooms a facelift

Its a good park. Wife open spaces are great for having peers of leash. In the winter its over if the best and safest place to go sledding. Two playground of decent quality, a picnic pavilion and outdoor grill pits.

Great spot to run the puppy and play. Kinda looks bad by retention pond but hopefully all the trees will be back. BMX track in park is really nice

The park holds an awesome BMX track and the best little league complex. Really good rolling hill treed areas for picnics or private get togethers. The playground area is pretty new. Also has a large open area dog park with long asphalt walking loop.

Big, beautiful park with playground equipment, b-ball courts, lots of open space, and a BMX course too boot. Its really nice.

Its a nice park 2 diferant play areas bathrooms a walking path basket ball court its well maintained and is usually someone that works thear most of the time so I would say its fairly safe to take your kids as long as th thear with a care taker

Being located right around the corner from my house is pretty convenient, but this is a nice, clean park with baseball fields and dirt bike track

This is a very nice park with playgrounds, picnic shelters, and a dog walking area, all nestled on the edge of a quiet residential area.

Nice and quiet park on the north end, South end has a BMX track and ball fields. Downside is the roads will give you whiplash at 20 mph.

The walking/running path near the baseball fields is a nice place and well maintained. All thats lacking are lights along the path, and it would be significantly improved.

Places for grilling a large playground area and a structure for having a birthday party/get together. Overall was as expected, but somewhat unclean areas and hard to find.
