Roatan Bed & Breakfast Apartments in Roatan

When I arrived, my host, Barbara, greeted me with her lovely Italian smile. Our first steps led up the spiral staircase to the rooftop deck. We got to know each other as we watched the sunset over West End. The panoramic view took my breath away. I knew I had chosen very wisely when booking Roatán Bed and Breakfast.Next, Barbara took me to the second floor and showed me my room. I was instantly excited to see the beautiful ocean view I would wake up to each day. Additionally, the bedroom, bed, and pillows were quite comfortable. The bathroom exceeded my expectations with a spacious vanity and large shower/bath combo. I had plenty of room to spread out in my hilltop retreat.Finally, we walked out onto the second-floor deck. The deck would become my "morning spot," where I started each day of my time on Roatán. The balcony had ample seating and table tops to rest my coffee or cerveza, depending on the time of day. Relaxing in the hammock was how I ended my days on several occasions.My stay at West End would have exceeded my expectations if all I had done was sleep in this unique three-story house. However, the bonus you receive when staying at Roatán Bed and Breakfast is a friendship with Barbara. She is a warm woman, quick with a laugh, whose Milanese charm makes you feel like family. The time I spent in conversation with Barbara will be my favorite memory from my time on the island.I will forever cherish my decision to spend ten days in a dream at Roatán Bed and Breakfast, the home of the enchanting Barbara Careddu.

This hotel was hard to find, out of the way, and far from the main street in West End. Our taxi refused to drive us on the rough road leading to this place. At night, it was dark and hard to find when walking home from dinner or drinks. The rooms were nice enough, but our room had pots with dirt overflowing on the floor. The "terrace" on the roof was bleak and had no furniture or respite from the sun.. not a selling feature.

The place is difficult to find. It is a true hideaway. The roads to this place are bad. The taxi driver didnt want to bring us up the hill. You have to be cautious walking down the hill. The price paid was too high for this place. Checkout is 10am too damn early.

Muestran una cosa en las fotos y a la hora dan otra muy distinta

Es un lugar para backpackers o mochileros, pequeño y con lo básico. Para nosotros no fue cómodo porque íbamos en familia y en la app de Booking no menciona que es en tercer nivel y que para entrar son como 200 mts. en un camino privado hacia arriba. No fue la mejor experiencia.
