A nice cozy cafe on boatbasin. Decent food, and ofcourse expensive. Only downside is the situation. Visit and you will know it.

The place had such a cool and chill vibe. Its a great place to come with your friends. It would be better if you start accepting credits cards as well because the ATMs are like a mile away.

Great ambiance and service. It is a bit overpriced for the things they’re offering and the food isn’t up to the mark but the ambiance they’re giving compensates everything.

While the ambience was good and the place was very aesthetically pleasing, the food was way below average. They took more than an hour to prepare the food which turned out to be smelly and couldnt be consumed. They also charged us more than a thousand rupees for no apparent reason.Ambience 8/10Food 2/10Customer service 0/10

It was an interesting overall experience. It has a unique interior and overall chill vibe where you can have discussions while you snack on. I personally prefer TDF (its also closer to my house lol). But I enjoyed roadside cafe. The food and beverages offered were also flavoursome. Although it would be nice if there were more food varieties I guess. FYI my friend and I ordered tomato and cheese chicken sandwich, garlic mushrooms, paratha (okayish), kahwa and Chai. We enjoyed the overall experience. Recommend!

Dramatic ambiance .. full of late 70s early 80s charms ..Antique car 9n display along with thought provoking, framed slogans.If I say I say partial history of Pakistan through lense of PTV , by nehar e khayam .. I wont be wrong ..Thank you sooo ... Much for providing such a lovely nook in K town for stray souls like me . ✨🙏✨

I have been coming here for over 5 years now. I like the vibe and atmosphere. The only problem is that a normal chai is over Rs.200, which is unreasonable.

This cafe is so light themed that you would probably not forget the ambiance experienced here. An easy to go and accessible place for long meetings, quick bites, and chitchat sessions. Cafe has some games to enjoy, and the walls are decorated with such nice wall papers which give you the tour of almost the history of Pakistans media industry and social life. It is awesome. ♿ Accessible entrance is available but no dedicated accessible parking was seen.

A nice place for friends gathering & hangouts, Business Meet-ups and for Long conversations, with wonderful ambience. What I liked most was the paintings on the wall of whole cafe, it was like a history of Pakistan. We just had Doodh Patti Chai here, which cost 260/- Rupees per each which was fantastic. The place is Accessible for ♿ Wheel Chairs and for the people with different abilities, with enough parking space outside.Overall it was a nice experience.

Not value for money. Though the environment was good but single noisy couple may make things uneasy, further the taste was just OK.

A few friends and I decided to head out for a quick bite at a quiet place. Road Side Cafe did indeed offer that quiet place for us to sit and chat.We were first seated near the entrance and there was an unbearable stink from the sewage that runs outside.Anyways we moved in a bit more and found something that stank worse than the sewage and that was our "servers attitude".We only asked him if their Cafe offered any other kind of tea other than doodh pati instead he responded saying everything is in the menu read it yourself and he walked away. Ofcourse after this we scratched our plans to stay for a bite of any sort.3 stars for the tea-3 stars for our server.

A nice and cozy place, this has been a crowd favorite for years. There is a reasonable offering of drinks and snacks but you dont come here for the food. You come here for the ambiance and to hang out with your friends. There is a distinct "left" feel to the place, made explicit by the murals on the walls, and reflected in the kind of people who frequent this place. Many are regulars. There are a handful of tables here and though there is always a good crowd, rarely do you not find a table. The service is nice and polite. The service staff has not changed for a while and they remember your preferences even if you come back after a while. I usually go there after meals for a drink and to wind down. A fairy tale entrance with arched trees leads you to an open air seating area which works out well for Covid-19 restrictions as well.

A small but a wonderful indoor with some game facilitate for all the ages. Good for tea/coffee and music lovers.

Roadside Cafe; a place to sit and chit-chat with a cup of tea/coffee, spend hours with your friends but dont even think about eating something, as they have the most basic tasteless and expensive food in terms of serving size. The ambiance and the service is fine but its definitely not for families. Little shady tho.

Average place. They are charging very high prices for every item on the menu. Taste was also average. A small bun kabab costs us 320 and Chana Chat around 350. Dhood pati with one free refill was Rs 210.Seating arrangement was also average or I would say below average compared to the amount they asa re charging.To my surprise they also charged us 13% service charges in addition to GST (with no NTN or SNTN number mentioned on invoice). Speed of service was slow.

Absolutely baffling. I just ordered two cups of tea. The tea was nowhere near 210 rupees a cup. I could have overlooked that but the disgust of having bugs run around the table was just too much. No regards for a healthy environment. The management, its time for you to shine and do something about it.

Good place night gatherings. Indoor games are available and you can work over there on laptops. Special offer is that one refill is free on tea cup. Classical painting are there on walls of different celebrities, athletes, singers, politicians and leaders. Quality is good and rate wise it is not expensive and ambience are different. Pan is complementary on bill payment.

This is my all time favorite place and I have so many memories here. Unfortunately after sheesha got banned the rush faded away but thats probably best because now you can enjoy some peaceful bonding time with friends here or just go read a book and enjoy their fantastic snacks and hot and cold beverages. Cold coffee is amazing here so oa their bun kebabs. Dont forget to have doodh patti with free refill

Good place if you want to sit and spend some time with friends. Limited food menu but taste is fine. What I like about this place is quiet environment where you can chit chat without any time pressure from waiters

Nothing screams more hipster than an over priced bun kebab and 20 women discussing aurat March women sitting next to. Love the art work though. If this place was more hipster theyd relocate it to Brooklyn.Highly recommended if youre trying to impress your feminist date on how cultured yet grounded you are.And my favorite bit is finding out the dabbu you just played was RS.500 after playing it .

Cool place to hangout, play board games or cards (provided).Food and drink choices are decent. Since this is an open air place, smoking is allowed too......prices are a tiny bit steep.Enjoy your visit 😊

They have really nice environment and the most attractive thing about this cafe is that they have given tribute to all the legends of Pakistan old and new. Youll see so many peoples painting on the wall.

Its very cozy, casual and fun entertainment. Very good space for casual gathering and hangout. Great thing is the refill of Tea and Kahva. Wall art, graffiti, landscape and natural palette of furniture are the added value to overall ambiance.

One of the best kept secrets in Boat Basin. Loved this place. Absolutely fabulous murales on the walls remembering many great personalities. We played Caram with cousins and simply had chai so many memories at this place 🙂

A very cozy and comfy place with youngsters gathered. The place also offers different games which is charged. The tea and refreshments were also decent and well balanced. Nice place to hangout with friends and oldies. Smoking is allowed but Sheesha is no longer allowed here.

Good place to quietly slide into some privacy. Snacks on the offer are nice - chaats, ban kababs, omelettes and tea. However, the place doesn’t have AC and it is covered with trees and roof so even with the fans it gets really suffocating and warm and full of mosquitoes for which they burn a lot of coils which may even kill you besides the mosquitoes.The price charged is premium. Parking is sufficient. Service is slow.

A beautiful place to hang out with friends. Its walls are painted with murals. The place has some group games on offer as well. Overll, a good place to sit with friends, or working alone.

Best place to visit.. Best thing is the nature of people, and the attraction of the whole structure and theme.. We visited the location at around 11.30 am. The owner the Maam herself cooked Paratha for us. And they serve us the breakfast. However, they were close at that time but thanks to them they valued us and specially serve us the breakfast. Thanks alot to whole staff..

This is one of the coolest cafes in the city. You can have quick bites in a refreshing and romantic environment with slow music in the background. With professionally trained staff, you get quality services. Whether alone in a company of buddies, youll love the place

Coffee was excellent.....one of the waiter must learn some manners.... if u r charging high for a good environment....then treat your customers with respect, their money is not free to spend on you by leaving much more better options and coming to you.......on the other hand...... excellent....clean ...and healthy....

road side cafe is one of my most favourite places in karachi. it is unique in its own way. And rhe artistic look that the designer has given the place is awing. And the Food is worth trying and the games like ludo chess and board is enjoyed alot by me and my friends

Its my favourite place to hangout and chill in Karachi. This is the original funky dhaba, its been there since ages. The staff is super. The menu is a variety of snacks and drinks, Desi stuff as well as wings, onion rings, etc. The murals are the most delightful thing to see here, pictures come out pretty fantastic. You can also play ludo or carom. I love Roadside Cafe <3

Great service. A Son to the owner (about 21 yrs), coordinates excellent services. The cafe is a vibrant meeting place for young entrepreneurs; I witnessed several business deals sealed. They also serve great Pakistan tea (boiled with milk(I took 2 mug fulls!). I want to be back here one day .....

My go to place when I want serenity. There is something about the place which feels like its not the part of noisy city that we live in. Been going there since its inception a decade ago and cant find any reason why I would stop going there in future

Nice and peaceful aimbiance - perfect for a lazy afternoon in the winter with friends. Food is also pretty good. Only drawback is I think they dont accept credit cards

Very artistic place, with very good options of food. Cold chart, egg cheese omelette and doodh Patti chai is most recommended. Water melon juice is also very awesome in summers.

Its a really good place for tea only with good ambience. The reason why i gave them 2 stars is because I tried their chilli bites once, and i had a severe food poisoning later that night. Never again am gonna eat anything there, but just tea.
