Upscale eatery offering eclectic American fare plus nightly live jazz in a classic, dark-wood space.
Price point is a little excessive but food and service was excellent so I guess you get what you pay for. Well save this place for special occasions
Great atmosphere, live music Lucas was our waiter and did a awesome job. Food was great!
It was our anniversary we started out at another restaurant down the road and decide to come to Roadhouse instead. Dinner was phenomenal, Lucas was our server he was EXCELLENT one of the best places we have been to in a while, from the ambiance to everything we ordered. Dinner was top notch!
My favorite restaurant. Amazing live jazz music Dance floor. Great service and excellent food. Worth every $$
What an amazing experience! The service was fantastic, food phenomenal, and the jazz music for entertainment just really made it all come together. Romantic with great ambiance. The tomato bisque was the best I’ve ever had. Great wine list and the manager was very helpful in choosing a good bottle. I had a chicken artichoke pasta dish that was delicious! Highly recommend!
Atmosphere was great and our server Bob was fantastic. Disappointed in the size of the fish and the other entree the risotto was underdone and too much basil. Id go back and try again just for the drinks and Atmosphere.
Best steak in town, great jazz music, a true hidden gem.
This restaurant is amazing! Everything about this restaurant is great! I can’t wait to go back after Covid-19
There are not enough superaltives to describe the Roadhouse Cafe. OUTSTANDING food, service, and entertainment 👌 Even the hostesses are off the charts lovely 😍. Thank you all for making our night so very special. There were 9 of us and everyones menu was better than the other

Absolutely outstanding service, food quality and ambiance. Wonderful evening for us!
This is a fabulous classy restaurant…. Do not be deterred by the unfitting name. It has a great jazz band, a beautiful wooden bar, white tablecloths with candles and roses on each table. Great menu too! Lobster bisque is loaded with lobster, pan seared scallops cooked to perfection and the brownie chocolate cake is super yummy! Cathy our server was fabulous!!
Just a great place to eat, everything on there menu is always awesome,Great service, the music is super good it is the best Jazz music I have ever heard.
Wonderful food and entertainment!! Great service and friendly staff
Food was delicious! Service was excellent.A bit pricy. But will definately be back. Nice atmosphere with some great music. They put us in a secluded/private back room, perfect for our needs for the celebration of my parents 69th wedding anniversary! 🍾
My absolute favorite restaurant! Live jazz/blues, nice for a cocktail and app too!
Fanciest place Ive ever eaten at . That being said the staff was extremely polite and professional. Delicious food that came out in a timely manner. Honestly one of the best steaks Ive ever had. And the live music was a very good touch the young woman singing had an incredible voice. If your in the area youve got to stop by and give them a shot
Dont let the location fool you. Amazing food, excellent service, and live music. Always great!
I sat for a very long time and the hostess came up and asked me if I was OK. I was trying to be polite so I didnt say anything. Keep in mind this is a $60 steak. my steak came out beat to a paper thin thickness. It was supposed to be medium rare and it came out so well done there was no pink left. Best guess it they beat it that thin to make it look like you got a lot for your money. A good cut of meat would not need to be beaten to a hamburger state. I had ordered bread which was supposed to come before the whole meal happened. It came out 10 minutes after the steak and only because some lady who had been standing at the bar brought it out and jokingly said "I work here too." Then why are you standing at the bar drinking!!!!!!🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️. Never once.did the bartender come back to see if i was pleased with my meal or to refresh my drink. NOTHING!!!When i finally got the bartenders attention, so i could ask for my check. He was so focused on leaving, his attitude was horrible. i told him i would pay for the steak, but it was terrible. He SNAPS back with his "i dont care attitude" " you could have said something anytime." Ahhh sorry tried you were not listening. He went to snatch plate away like i was the one that cooked this crapy $60 meal. I paid and not a thank, we apologize. Nothing!!!!! Just a Manager with a glass of wine in her hand, looking like the whole situation wasnt happening. Good advice you dont get paid to stand around and get drunk while your employees act like spoiled children and your cook serves up a HORRIBLE meal. Do your job, because at $60 for that quality of food and that type of service, you wont have it for long. Wish I knew the owners so I could let this know this goes on when the cats away. DONT GO THE ONLY HALF WAY DECENT THING WAS THE MUSIC. And that wasnt anything to rave about.
I took my husband to Roadhouse for his birthday as a surprise. We had reservations for 7:15p but arrived a few minutes early. We were greeted, confirmed, and immediately seated. The look on my husbands face completely changed as from the outside it doesnt look like much but inside it was a beautiful environment. They had a live band, it was not packed despite it being Good Friday, and tables well spaced. The table was decorated with birthday sprinkles and a birthday hat. Debbie was our server and she went above and beyond through the entire evening. She gave us the specials. We ordered the escargot as an appetizer and it was really good. Entrees I had the encrusted salmon my husband the encrusted lamb both dishes were delicious!!! We ended the night with Debbie bringing a birthday desert and ice cream. Lucas was not our server but kept wishing my husband a happy birthday throughout the night. We had such a great time that we stayed a little later at the bar. Staff Debbie & Lucas really made the night for us. We will definitely be back! Roadhouse is definitely a hidden GEM that I am glad we found.
Great place! Delicious food! Fantastic atmosphere! The waitress accommodated young kids even though they dont have kids menu! Its our second time there and both times were fantastic!
I made a reservation for my husbands birthday on 4/9 for 6pm.Got there a few minutes early..Couldnt find the reservation when we arrived, got seated at the bar facing the band. Asked to be moved to a table, couldnt be done. We were reassured by the Hostess AND our server, BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE and wed request it going forward. We ordered drinks, which were quite good. Had I known we needed to REQUEST a table I would have . We had lobster bisque as an appetizer..TO DIE FOR!! We finished the soup and ordered our entree..seafood casserole.. In the meantime, a couple come in and are seated at a table right in front of us. Okay..so this couple orders champagne and the "gentleman" turns his chair around to face the band. They bring our dinner and this "gdntlemsn" is so close to my plate, I could have rested my fork on his head. After a couple of bites of my dinner, I leaned forward and asked him to please move forward. He says I have no place to go. My husband days, try facing your table. Needless to say, our dinner was OVER. We asked for the check and told the "Manager " about the experience. She apologized and said she hoped wed come back. Well, NOT ANY TIME SOON!!! The icing on the cake was I actually got a phone call ftom "Cindy" at 6:30 wondering where we were for our "birthday celebration "We were seated at THE BEST SEATS IN HOUSE CINDY . NOT THE EVENING WE HAD BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO👎
One of the few really fine dining places in Fort Myers. Truly chef engaged creative dishes with attentive staff. Could bring knowledgeable foodie guests to be well impressed.
Amazing service, amazing food, and very incredible jazz music to boot. Have been to many fine dining establishments and this one holds their own, no question. The wine selection is great, and their food is fresh and well done. Not too oversaturated with sauces and salt, like one would normally get dining out. They could use a few more creative cocktails on their drink list but other than that, no complaints. Highly recommended.
From the location, youd never know the gem inside. Once inside, youre transported to a high-end, beautiful restaurant. They have a professional, efficient, expert staff that anticipates your every need. We had Jenna who has a warm, inviting personality. The food was delicious. This is a place to put on your must-go list. Especially when they have live jazz music. Reservations are recommended. It was packed on a Wednesday night.
Took my Moms best friend for a Birthday celebration and it was AMAZING. We arrived and they brought us to our table that was decorated with confetti and Happy Birthday signs and hats. That was a special surprise. Food was Absolutley Amazing. The staff was attentive and very friendly, everyone of them. The band playing sang to My friend Happy Birthday 🎂 which also was a nice surprise. The Music is perfect for a Amazing even. I recommend everyone to stop in and have a bite or just a drink. I truly was impressed to find this restaurant which is a little hidden secret. Cant Thank them all enough for making that night so special and such amazing food, service and friendly staff.
Amazing food and desserts! Friendly yet professional service and fun environment!
Made reservations for 515 pm to celebrate my parents 45th anniversary. They had no idea what they were in for as this was a surprise for them. Doors opened at 5 pm. We were greeted and seated right away. The ambiance upon walking in was very inviting, with perfect dinner lighting. The table was covered with hearts to celebrate my parents. Right after being seated, we were greeted by Ed/Edward, our waiter. He was amazing, very personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and even offered his top 3 suggestions for food. We were able to sample a Riesling and Moscato before getting a bottle for the table to share. We ended up taking Eds suggestion on the 14oz New York strip with the pepper crust. They were all cooked perfectly. The garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus were great accompaniments to the steak. My mom got the vegetable medley, and she enjoyed those as well. After dinner, Ed came out with a complimentary dessert for my parents. I ordered the almond meringue, which was very light, decadent, and flavorful. Around 630 pm, the jazz band started playing, which made it the ultimate experience for them. I would definitely recommend Roadhouse Cafe to anyone looking for a fine dining experience with live jazz music. We will be back for sure.
Very hit or miss experience. First off the good - the entrées were delicious. I had the yellowfin tuna steak and it was perfectly cooked, the veggies it came with were fresh and well seasoned. My companion had the scallops and risotto - and it was also perfectly cooked and delicious.Everything else was very ehhhhhh. One of the worst Old Fashioned cocktails Ive had in a long time, there was no cocktail or beer menu so you just had to guess what they had and could make. Im sure the wine selection was great, but Im not a huge fan of wine - so that was annoying to deal with. Also the calamari appetizer was about as rubbery as bicycle tire - really not so good. Service was ok - not particularly good though.I dont consider myself to be particularly young (30sbut we were easily the youngest in the place. The menu and ambiance gave me a kinda Mad Men 50s vibe, and not in a great way. I think it caters to the older crowd, and maybe that is why I left feeling pretty meh about the experience.
Live jazz every Thursday 6:30-9:30pm, worth the drive to listen to this amazing vocalist Liz Heath (yes, shes my daughter!and the incredibly talented band. Wonderful ambiance, excellent food and the staff is always offering service with a smile! Thank You for many memories in your fine establishment! #roadhousecafe
Very good food, my fish dish was amazing!!Good wine list but only some cocktails to choose from, I would like more handcrafted cocktails😊.A little more expensive but worth it, also good for a special day.Our waitress was very nice. We will be back for sure👍
I have been here a few times and Lisa and Nick have taken care of me! Nick I requested after his first time of taken care of my family and I. He was funny, knowledgeable and brought more than he could to our dining experience. The food was incredible and the staff was so polite and joyful! I absolutely loved the Jazz band and everyone that was with me enjoyed the food, service and dining experience! WE HAVE ALL BEEN BACK TIME AND TIME AGAIN! See you again soon Roadhouse Cafe ❤️
Great steak and lobster. Incredible atmosphere including the live music and ambience.
Excellent restaurant with live music - old school. I had the New York strip with peppercorn crust - prime beef and cooked perfectly. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. If I could have finished it, I’d have added a lobster tail for a surf and turf combo. Garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and Caesar salad were terrific sides. Service was first rate and the live music made for a really nice evening. Not inexpensive but well worth it. This will be our new go-to restaurant in the area.
Delightful experience! From the service, food, dessert everything is always exquisite. Its definitely a place to choose for a special occasion as its a bit pricey, but for that special occasion its always worth it! The live music just adds an extra touch that makes it even better. We love Roadhouse Cafe!
Our dining experience with you was an event in itself, following our sons wedding. All of the dishes were delightfully superior, beautifully presented, served with easy, gracious professionalism by 2 incredible servers who made it their mission to make us feel well cared for. The music was so wonderfully surprisingly good, as well. Romantic and relaxing. The meal, the service, the music and the evening could not have been more perfect.
We’re new to the area, and this place was recommended to us. Honestly, we were a little hesitant when we pulled up - the restaurant is on the outside part of a partially empty shopping center. We were pleasantly surprised when we went in. Great atmosphere, fun vibe, lots of positive energy. Our dinners were EXCELLENT, as was our service by Eddie. Really good service with some fun and humor. The entertainment was also very good (live jazz band; softly playing). We’ll be back soon, and are already looking forward to it. P.S. Try the root beer float martini....
Bring your girlfriend or wife here...seriously! You will not be disappointed! Spectacular service and excellent food. I had the pomegranate martini to start and the mussels for my entree! I finished with the creme brûlée. I added fresh berries. I only managed to snap a shot of my dessert because everything else was in my stomach before I could think of my camera.
This place is definitely a hidden gem! They have a live band every night theyre open playing some wonderful jazz music. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and food omg the food 🤤😋 everything we ordered was soo delicious and our server Nic was the best he made us feel welcomed ❤ I will be coming back!!!
One of the best places in town. Osso bucco, creme brulee, and a jazz band playing Thriller and Monster Mash. Great night, will definitely return.
The food was excellent, the jazz music by Danny Sinoff was great and the service was outstanding. I have been living in the area since 2001 and this was the first time we went to this place and we will be returning and I will recommend this place to anyone that would like to have a nice night out. We always compare our night out with other fine dinning and this place is in our top 3!!! Great job and enjoy the music with the person you love.
Scallops with risotto and fabulous professional service even though I had no reservations. This place was a hidden gem! I can’t wait to go back for some live jazz next time. Definitely a nice place!
Such a hidden gem that we ended up having to call to find the exact location. I definitely did not expect the atmosphere to be so beautiful and luxurious walking up to the door. We didn’t have a reservation but we made sure the hostesses knew we were on a time crunch—luckily able to get seated at a great table before the next reservation. We had a Barbara B Mann show to attend and figured we would treat ourselves to a fancy dinner. It was a beautifully crafted meal and tasted good; however, I was surprised at the prices for what it was. Either way, the staff was kind, the service was fast, and the experience was one for the memory books!
Amazing food, great jazz music an Nick our waiter did an awesome job! Definitely will go back
This is my new favorite place! The food and service are top-notch! And the atmosphere is a delightful bonus with the entertainment and dance floor. Everything I have ordered as well as those at my table agree that the food is excellent. We vow to keep coming back.
Great restaurant with live music, every day except Monday is jazz night here. The food was excellent, the service was perfect.Portions of food are large, you can take one dish for two. The piece of cake for dessert was huge.Music does not sound loud and does not interfere with conversations.
Excellant food! The service was great! The atmosphere could not have been better. If you like the jazzy 1920 30s feel this is for you
Dont let the name fool you!! This is a crisp white tablecloth, polished wine glass and shined silverware, chef inspired restaurant. With a complete bar in one corner and a live music venue in another, the dining room is appointed nicely for a memorable evening out of fine dining. Service was very attentive without being overbearing by our quite knowledge wait staff. Not your ordinary restaurant, but extraordinary!
Seafood & Steaks are amazing! Only surpassed by the wait staff. We try and go every Saturday when we are in Fort Myers to see the Danny Sinoff Quartet. The music is Dannys fabulous take on Jazz Standards and you cant believe it until you are there in person. Yes, you will need reservations and there are 2 sittings. So, go 7.30 and later to enjoy the quartet and a wonderful evening. The large bar area is always packed too. And, for fun you might want to dine right at the piano.
