Charming walkway overlooking the Saginaw River known for its peaceful locale & scenic lookout spots.
Absolutely love going here year round. Its so beautiful to walk the park and pier. Ive been going here over 40 years.
Nice area to walk around with lots of benches along the way. Nice landscaping and lots of birds to see.
Love to go here! Its a beautiful place and clean
Nice walk day or night
Super dirty with bird feces everywhere
We loved walking around here. There was a ship that my son and I kept trying to get a good picture of and we eventually did get!
Nice boardwalk to the island, saw lots of geese and ducks
Really cool place to fish, its great to have a solid place to catch what the state has to offer! Beautiful scenery as well !
The board walk is super cool
Very well kept. Beautiful landscaping. Nice walking trails. Beautiful place. Waterfront. I was impressed.
Favorite place to go, used to go with my grandpa when I was a little kid.Great memories.
Needs some updates but still a great place to go to unwind and enjoy a walk or a bike ride.
A nice place to walk near the water. Lots to view and see
Great for families with kids. Lots of channel catfish if using a worm. Beautiful views, great for a dog walk or biking. Only issue, and its major; there arent restroom facilities. There is a portajohn in the parking lot, yes, but... you might be better off soiling yourself. It is more sanitary. The city should build an actual public restroom here.
Nice to walk along the river, see Canada geese. Ducks, and seagulls, when the water is lower you can see some old ships. Only wish they would open up the one parking place.
We enjoyed this pier however you will LOVE the adjacent boardwalks and small paek within sight of this pier - a must visit place!
I love going to the Riverwalk!!I hope Bay City starts investing on it instead of just investing on the east side of the river!it looks really great over there but to see one side of the river in disrepair & one side looking so good..It is very obvious in the disparity that it is the failure of the city to do something that makes our city look cohesive. But it looks really great I love it!!
This was not our first time there, but we still thoroughly enjoyed the time there. It was accessible for walkers and wheelchairs. There are many decent beaches along the path. The path is either a cemented or decked path.
Fabulous view, peaceful and romantic walks.
It was a beautiful place to take a romantic walk with my fiance at sunset. We saw geese, ducks, fish, and even a baby swan. The geelslings were waddling in packs of 20, and their adults were fun to watch bob their heads trying to move them along into the water. We saw names and dates carved in the metal railings, and thought about how those names and dates might still be doing in their relationships. It was my ladies first time ever walking on this boardwalk, and she was so happy to walk with her arm wrapped around mine, strolling, just looking at nature and the stars.
Very beautiful and peaceful. I enjoy it very much
Was very neat.
This was so awesome..... It was worth visiting even in the winter time.... Be careful though as it freezes over and can be very slippery. But just take your time and enjoy. Summer time this is certainly worth it.
First time on this walk. Everyone we encountered were simply amazing, polite and smiling. A wonderful, invigorating place to be.
It was very nice to visit
This is a fantastic place to walk around! Check out the long dock, and spend some peaceful moments with God gazing at the river and the buildings across the river and the wildlife, etc. You can walk or ride your bike on the paved trail. A good place to enjoy a lazy stroll with a friend! Check it Out!
Beautiful location for a nice stroll with the kids, friends and family. Some better use of empty land would be nice for kids and familys such as swings or a garden would be awesome! Otherwise a delightful spot :)
Trash. Over grown, flooded. Clearly hasnt been kept up with. Youd think with the money they have to dump on the one side of the water they would at least keep both sides looking decent. Welcome to Bay City, where you can pay 100,000 for s condo to look at overgrown and flooded landscape.
Peaceful river walk on docks, piers, and sidewalks nearby. Lots of benches and green space to enjoy a tranquil afternoon by the water.
This is a great place to view ships coming up and down the Saginaw River, Watch boats, or even just sit and watch the birds and fish. The riverwalk structure is part of an old river bed. Its really pretty here at dawn watching the sun come up over the city.
Very beautiful place to go. Highly would recommend going there at night. The lights are quite the sight to see.
Love the gardens. Absolutely gorgeous. Bike trail is Awesome, lots of benchs to sit and view the river!
It is in very good condition and with lovely views. It is kept strictly pedestrian as they make it difficult to take bikes through entrance (which is both good and bad,I suppose.)
Crisp cold winter winds are still blowing.Dress for the winds and enjoy brisk walk by the rivers edge. Bay City does a good job of clearing most of the trail. Bring your dog and get outdoors.
Love walking it in the evening with my family or just my husband. Very accessible for the handicapped. Safe to take the youngns. My only repetitive complaint is I cant lean on the railings tho because of all the spiders.
Its beautiful and can be romantic. Nice place to clear your head. To watch the fireworks there is like magic. Just love it.
So beautiful. The sights and sounds of natural nature mostly drowns out the Hussle and bustle of the city right across the way. Definitely coming again.
Great place to walk with lots of benches to rest on.
A great little walk in downtown (Uptown?!?Bay City.
My boys and I had a blast on the river walk. Everyone is usually friendly and you will see various neighbors walking there dogs, fishing, or riding bikes. We got caught in the rain so the conclusion of our walk was soggy-------but fun!!!!
This is a beautiful little walk, especially in the evening when its nice and quiet. If you want a bit more, there is more of the Riverwalk just down the path. We really enjoyed this scenic view on our anniversary trip to Bay City and I would definitely recommend this spot as a place to stop.
Was a Great turn out for the Big Night of Fireworks Festival . . . .
About a three mile walk from Bigelow Park to the city boat dock round trip. There are some of the best places to watch t fireworks festival along the River Walk. Someone could get up very close to where the fireworks are shot off.
It used to be nice but now people write stuff on it. Not so nice anymore. Trash is left on the ground by lazy ignorant people from another city (specificand they dont keep an eye on their children. Parents drop the "f" bomb without regard for children...I wont be going back to this park for a long time...
Beautiful for a evening walk!
Bay City is very fortunate to have such a nice and well taken care of Riverwalk. The pier is a great place to come see ships go by or just for a trip out to see the gnarly river.PHOTO CREDIT - Bernie Eng
My family loves the Riverwalk! We walk it all the time. Always a safe environment and great views
Awesome place to take the kids in your loved ones good spot to watch the Fourth of July fireworks
Nice peaceful walk. Seen fish, ducks, geese, turtles, boats, people rollerblading, riding bikes. Great place for a summer evenings walk after a good dinner.
Fantastic place to watch the fireworks!
