Riverside Thai Kitchen - Thai restaurant in Riverside, United States
Called to place order and the lady couldn’t wait for me to even pick my items. Very unprofessional not appreciative of there customers.
When we came in and told the lady we wanted to dine in she responded with snapping her lips and said quietly we are really busy. There was no one in there with us. We stayed and had sweet and sour chicken it was good. We had the seafood soup not spicy at all and very lemony from the lemongrass, it was delicious. The orange chicken was meh, and the chicken fried rice was very good.
Great Food! Great Customer Service! The two man & woman operation are very hard workers. I would suggest to order for takeout! First time there . Ordered chicken parang curry . Chicken pad Thai. Chicken chow Mein egg rolls and Thai iced tea….. freshly cooked! Thank you and soon will be returning …. Great value for home cooking Thai food !
I wish I could say that I have actually tried the food but sadly I have not. I have attempted to eat here 3 TIMES! Each time they were closed or closing. Each time by the way was well within their listed hours of operation. Im done making attempts to eat here. I dont know how they stay open.
FOOD WAS DELICIOUS BUT FEES ARE EXTREMELY HIGH, $25,90 ORDER ENDED COSTING $40.55 - $6.99 DELIVERY FEE, CONVENIENCE FEE $1.50 ??? WHY?
Geez. The pictures are deceiving. I ordered mango sticky rice and it was the tiniest portion ever. Does not look like the portion on the picture posted. Good just really small
Best to park in the back where youll find the parking lot, theres no parking out in front. The back lot has an entrance also. The food is good, I ordered their Pad Kee Mao made fresh and fast. Flavors are okay and price is fair.
Ordered 2 mango sticky rice to go and paid 19.37. They literally gave me half of half of a mango so sad! For almost 20 bucks at least throw in a whole mango since it’s so little!
This food is PHENOMENAL! The food is outstanding and made to order. They have THE BEST Pineapple shrimp fried rice in Riverside. I have tried them ALL. Their prices are the best too!The service is HORRIBLE. Once they bring out your food that is the end. They do not check on you and do NOT come back to see if you even need a refill on water. They don’t seem very engaged with patrons.Their schedule is a bit weird. They have hand written notes saying they are out for a break at times. Be sure to call ahead. Sometimes they only offer “to go” in the middle of the day. Kinda queer.
Got some really good pad Thai and the fried tofu with the sauce was really good I recommend that for sure
I had the yellow curry with chicken lunch special. Yellow curry, jasmine rice, and spring roll were excellent! The salad that came with it was lacking. Not sure you could call it a salad. Enjoyed meal nevertheless and service was outstanding. Ill go again and recommend
I had high hopes for a delicious Thai dinner but was pretty disappointed. I asked for extra spices and hot sauce which consisted of soy sauce and prepackaged sambal, no dry spices which really adds heat and flavor. So that was disappointing. I also requested for my curry to be extra spicy which it was not and I would call it a zero out of 10 for the spice level. I emptied all the sambal chili sauce that was sent with my delivery and that did really not help up the spice level much. Tom yum soup was okay, again lacking spice level. Papaya salad which is also supposed to be a spicy dish to begin with was not spicy at all. Maybe this restaurant really turns down the spice on their delivery items? Pretty disappointed with my order. The panang curry was also lacking an adequate level of vegetables.
I havent been in about 2 months but the past times I have been were amazing. The curry and Tom Yum/Tom Kha are all so delicious, and make sure to wash it down with a Thai Icetea.
Once of the best little take out and dine in places I have been too. I LOVE their yellow curry! Dine in service people are very nice and personable but can get overwhelmed if there are more than three tables to serve. VERY popular for take however. They have a constant flow of people coming in to pick up their orders that were called in.
I always seem to o get Drunken Noodles with chicken here! And Thai ice tea. They are quick cooks and the service is always friendly. It is a little hidden and the parking is sparse, but the food is good and the servers are cute.
I loved the speed at which this place delivers food. I ordered the coconut soup with lemongrass and mushrooms as well as the cashew nuts plate. The spice scale is 1-5 and I ordered a 3 which is about as spicy as a jalapeño.All in all it was a delicious restaurant to eat at and we’ll be back.
I recommend this place because the food here is delicious 😋😋 and the restaurant owners are very nice with costumers
Have been coming here multiple times over the past few years. I can attest that the food is always on point with consistently excellent service. For the quality of food and price, I would say its the best meal you can get in CA. Notably, fish week is always delicious. Keep it up.
If I could give zero stars I would, ordered through doordash, big order of $175.The broccoli beef had no flavor and was chewy, and overcooked.Orange chicken had no orange sauce, just dry breaded pieces of chicken.I ordered 3 spicy seafood soup, didn’t receive them, instead a plate full of vegetable with shrimp and no broth.Mango and sticky rice, just the mango was good. The rice was Saran wrapped and the sweet sauce tasted salty not sweet.Spicy Basil fried rice I ordered pork, got chicken instead and flavorless, no spice whatsoever. The only good things were the egg rolls and fried chicken wontons.Had a horrible experience and will not recommend this place or order here again.
Ive been ordering from here for the last two years through DoorDash. Food is always delicious and made as requested. My favorite is the yellow chicken curry with jasmine rice, Pad Thai (no peanuts for meor the Pad See Ew with Shrimp. Never actually been in the restaurant but always order on cold or rainy days. Hits the spot! Their cucumbers salad is delicious too 😋
First time ordering; def will order again soon. The pad see ew was so tender, the pork was not salty. Loved that I could order online and pay with credit card, venmo, google pay, paypal, and I think even bitcoin lol (they use menufry for online orders).Ill give a 5th star once i make more orders, they will probs get it
This is my favorite Thai Thai Resturant for Lunch great Menu value not only in the IE but also LA. They ad a Spring Roll & very affordable. Great Place. I’m sitting at a Thai restaurant now in San Pedro & the food / experience is no comparison to Riverside Thai Kitchen. It reminded me to write this review of my fond memories having lunch at R. Thai Kitchen.
One of my all time favorite Thai restaurants. DELICIOUS!!! Priced right, great service too. We ordered the yellow veggie curry with brown rice & tom yum soup from lunch menu. So so so so GOOD! Atmosphere very simple, and affordable. Owners very friendly & accommodating!
1st time ordering from here but my mom had been telling me she loved this place. I ordered via Postmates. I got the Pad see ew with tofu and a Thai tea. All was Excellent! Very things was fresh and packed well. I enjoyed it alot amd will for sure order from here again!Update I ordered again on 9/14 and guess what its so so so freaking Good!
I was hungry during Quarantine and ordered takeout via Postmates.I got the Pad Thai (Which is one of their “popular items”and Thai Tea.The food itself wasn’t enjoyable. I ordered two extra proteins and the plate doesn’t really have any protein in it. The noodles are pretty soggy, and overall didn’t taste the best. I like to feel like the food I’ve eaten hit the spot, but this didn’t come close to that. However, the one thing I REALLY enjoyed was the Thai Tea. Super tasty. But I wish they had better food.2 1/2 Stars from me.
Please is always outstanding! Negative health inspector report recently, but weve never had a problem. Best place for loud kids because the dining area is usually empty, they make a lot on delivered food. PAD SEE EW!
Just ordered take out and the people there are nice. Unfortunately, I cant say the same about the food. I got back to work with my chicken wings and the middle are ice cold. It only takes 5 minutes to get back to work and I couldnt eat them because the temperature made me think that they could cause me to get sick. They were frozen and she took them out of the fridge and I had my food in only 4-5 minutes. Yuck.
Good food, great service. Different flavors than other Thai restaurants. Rather off-putting that theres a small sign on the tables that offer free wontons if you rate them 5 star on yelp
This place recently changed ownership or at least management because portions are now smaller, they serve less protein on their dishes and the taste is a little different.Sticky rice mango is a no no now, last time I ordered they served it with a different type of mango not the thai one that should be served with sticky rice, the coconut cream was very watery, not the same as before.I hope they reconsider the size of their portions, recipes and quality.
Thai restaurant with great taste and most importantly, the guarantee that the food is the cheapest in Riverside. Combined with value for money Food to choose from Available for both adults and children. Spacious place There are good Thai songs for you to listen to. The bathroom is clean, polite staff, take good care of customers. Anyone who is looking for a cheap, good quality Thai restaurant I recommend Riverside Thai Kitchen.
Im one to appreciate those little gems - & this joint doesnt disappoint. Only minutes from the highway & nestled in the grove streets of Riverside California; youll be welcomed with a refreshing cultural influence thatll compliment what is surely an appetizing meal. Theres a menu full of well-presented dishes that never seem to lack - Big portions for the price might have you ready for a commute - & it passes all the expectations I could ever have. The uncrowded nature must mean a majority of their business is in the takeout line - but that just means theres plenty of room to get comfortable. I highly recommend a visit!
We have tried many Thai food restaurants, this one just so so & not to tasty. Mango with sticky rice was awesome.
Im from an area known for great Thai. This Thai could have been better if they had grilled everything a bit more aggressively. The best Thai has an almost BBQed look to it...the noodles and tofu are browned over a very hot flame. The noodles here were soggy with no texture.
This is THE place for good Thai food in Riverside. We have always gotten delivery but this last time we went to eat at the location. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious. I recommend the Orange chicken and of course the drunken noodles are my favorite.
Really great food and atmosphere. People are friendly. Recommends 11 am.
In very picky when it comes to Thai food but my fiancee said I would love it and I sure did! The service was awesome. The orange chicken to die for and the soup just incredible! Highly recommended!
Excellent, 1st time at this restaurant, very clean and bright, friendly and polite, I had the Chicken Tom Yum Soup. it was served piping hot, quite spicy and very tasty. I also think they are very reasonably priced. I will definitely be going again.
We visited here recently as my college kid was dying for some Thai food. We got there about 2pm and ate from the lunch menu. The lunch menu had great prices and the selection was large. The food was absolutely delicious and the server was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and service times were pretty short. This is a wonderful place to eat.
Good, friendly service. Nice, reasonably priced lunch specials. Im a pad thai person, and they make it well. Conveniently located a mile from my workplace. At lunch, not too crowded and prompt service. The decor is simple with not much frills, feels like eating in an old coffee shop without a counter.
Great food overall, but the consistancy of the taste and the service is horrible. I had a waiter who 1. Didnt greet or sit us, 2.throwing food on the table and they are still two to three feet away from you.I would rather order here via Grubhub and skip the horrible service the next time I crave Thai food and hope for the best.
We chose this place based on online reviews. Glad we did. We were visiting the area and wanted thai food. The food was very good, the prices were reasonable, and the service was very quick. We were surprised by how good the food was. It is not a fancy place, but if you are more interested in the food and prices than the decor, I think youd like this place.
It was pretty empty when I went here and I found out why all too soon. It was definitely not what I expected or what was advertised. None of the food looks like any of the pictures on the menu. I ordered panang chicken but was served some sweet coconut milk with barely any flavor or spice and when I asked for it to be redder and spicier they just dumped more curry powder in it and that was it. A mess. 😒I was going to order red curry but they showed me someones to go order of it and it was even whiter not even the slightest bit pink 😐 they offered to make me something else but I could no longer trust the menu.
Love this place. Its little and a pain in the butt to get in and out of the parking lot, but the food is so yummy its worth it. I typically order from them through GrubHub and have my food delivered. It always comes hot and delicious. Staff is super friendly and attentive. My go to Thai place here in Riverside!!
Great service, and the best Thai food in Riverside.
The food was delicious and not greasy. Also it was ready when we got there after 10 minutes (we had made the order by phone)I think it may be common in thai dishes but the food simply didnt have enough meat in it. I had fried rice with beef but I had to eat almost half of my rice without any beef! It had enough beef in it even it could be a solid 5 star.
Love the food and enjoyed spending time with one of my very best friends.
I was a bit skeptical from the looks of the outside but once inside I saw the restaurant is very clean and spacious. I had the spicy beef salad with fried rice. Food was very flavorful and good portions. Also service was fast so if give this place a thumbs up.
I was impressed with how clean this restaurant was, but was thrown off by the smell when I entered (Im highly sensitive to smells and ur was not pleasant- we decided to check out the food based upon the positive Yelp reviews. We ordered the shrimp tempura which was great. My husband ordered the yellow curry and I had the pad Thai, we both thought it was ok but not the best weve had. The Thai ice tea was yummy. Overall a decent meal but not sure if well be back. Give em a try and see if you like!
Great service (best at a Thai restaurant so far!seated immediately then in less than 2 min was asked for the drink order. We also knew what we wanted and ordered then as well. Fried tofu appetizer came out first followed by, in a perfect time, our meal.Clean atmosphere, hole in the wall. Really really good flavor. Plenty of parking. To go order counter, online order, and dine in. Lunch specials also available.
Ive only been here once, but the customer service is great. The waitress there would check on me and make sure everything is well. She wasnt rude or anything. And the main thing the food was great I got a curry soup lunch special, and it was pretty damn good.
