Riverside Holiday Park in Lancaster

Very well looked after 12month caravan park . Not your usual packed in holiday park. Its an owners only site so you dont really get the running round of many children . Or the staggering home from the usual site club, as there isnt one . Its dog friendly . A good place for an extended peacfull getaway where the owners become friends .it fronts the tidal river lune . At certain times of the year high tides can flood the main road ,its only for a few hours at certain states of tide ,but makes for a spectacular site with the road past disappearing under the river lune .

Lovely,quiet and relaxing place to stay.Really enjoyable.

We bought a new caravan £52000 & put decking £8,300 when it was put on its site after 6 months we found we had a massive green shed in front of us and the over flowing rat infested bin to our left . The ground was wet and muddy but nothing was done after a fall out with ignorant owners and useless office staff that are under investigation with others fir 4.2 million fraud for time share we had to leave they gave us £18,500 nobody would take it off the site wouldn’t have anything to do with the hills brothers ( owners DONT BUY FROM THEM had to give 1 star to put this up

If i can give you any advice it would be to not get a caravan on this site, please understand that the people who own this site are heartless, greedy and inconsiderate they only care about there own successes. These are not the type of people you want to have a caravan with trust me they are intimidating and will take as much money as they can off you and they will really mess you about, I don’t know how they sleep at night knowing they’ve taken peoples homes from them, ripped out there gardens and ruined there precious memories of that site just to earn a bit more cash. It is not worth the stress and heart ache when you realise what kind of people they are. I don’t know how they are getting away with this but it’s time for people to open there eyes and give justice to countless people who’s homes had been ripped away from them. Please please be careful and do not chose this as your holiday home site, you will be let down eventually! DONT DO IT!!!

Not for me the road floods, unpleasant smells and if you are thinking of buying and change your mind later your deposit is non refundable read the document carefully before you sign anything.Very uneasy feeling about the site in general.

Very nice caravan site but a car or taxi is needed to go to centre very long walk

Lovely place, nice and quiet.

I didnt stay at this park, this review is purely based on my 2 seconds with reception.Young lad, barely picked his eyes up from the desk. Blunt and just plain rude.Crack a smile next time. Politeness goes a long way.

Not been delivered there

I would put 0 star but option.What rip off. Up grade yr caravan or off.and they charge you 2k to come off.Then at last min say 5k to take it off.to upgrade they will give 2k if lucky then charge you 30k for a new van?The places is full of rats plus sewage leaks in places so serious health RISK!!

Very quiet. Nice views and easy to get to both morcambe and Lancaster.

I have only stayed in 3 or 4 static caravans in my life, but this one has blown me away and I didnt know they could actually be this nice. Very modern, all of the things you would need and more, and the site has left so many things to help your stay such as a pint of milk etc. Top marks!

Cramped outside space

Very clean very quite and easy to find and the sat nav takes you right to it

Staying in the the wooden pods. Not bad place so far. Bad points. Not completely clean if you start looking and Would rather stay in a caravan really they much bigger. They also charged us more money when we turned up saying we didnt say how many people was staying in a pod. Extra£10 a night per person even though we thought we did.

Lovely location, right on the river bank. Beautiful natural surrounding and not far from Morecambe and Lancaster.The park was revamped recently so it has a lot to offer.

It is well situated site that comes as a suprise as turn up of the river adjoined to great pub called snatchems. It seats just of tidal road so it is a interesting experience.
