Multi-use trails & picnic areas by the river, with monuments & lookouts adding points of interest.
A nice urban park with great walking trails, some monuments and viewing areas that were especially good to see the incoming tidal bore.
Great place for a walk nice place by the cholate river
Lovely place to hang out and chill. Very well maintained and very clean.
Great place to see the tidal bore
Lovely place, have a great time
Great!
Nice riverside park! Has the RCMP memorial there too 👍
Great walking and biking paths along river with plenty of places to stop and sit for a spell.
Perfect waterfront walk anytime of day! Even better if you time it with the Tidal bore Moncton 😊 Also check the events calendar or you could be pleasantly surprised with social activities, festivities and events that take place on the Riverfront!!!If you love art, wander off and you will also see Murals all over downtown Moncton, creations by local and international artists 👩🏼🎨 a must see. Some days you can even get a walking tour. This art mural movement is created by Inspire Festival 😍
Beautiful park. A walking Trail runs the length of the waterfront. A must visit
Not being from Moncton. We go there a few time a year. Specially on the first of July. Lots of activities also for the fireworks. Very nice park.
Beautiful spot to walk along river...have to be careful of bikes as they are on the same trail...
Great place to go, exercise, walk, take the family 👌🏻
Amazing place nice views of tidal bore beautiful places for a walk
Canada day 2022, at Riverfront Park, was a good time.
Canada day review 1-7-2022It was a great day to gather with family and friends and enjoy all the activities and entertainment related to Canada day celebration.Kids had good spots to play such as bouncy castle, trampoline and face painting with some nice magic tricks show. I hope next year they increase the activities as it was only one bouncy castle for thousands of kids.Food stalls were “overpriced” maybe due to the crowd and celebration, and you had stand in a long line to make an order, food quality wasn’t good compared to what we had to pay.Live entertainment band was amazing all the folks enjoyed it and was second to none.Fireworks was really great and it deserves to wait till 10pm to watch it.Overall experience we enjoyed spending the day there, and highly recommend to celebrate Next Canada day at Riverfront, if it will be held there.
Nice place to visit. A little bit crowded but a good spot overall
We went to the annual Jerk festival and it was great. The place was well maintained and staff were very good and friendly
A great success at the 2022 Rotary Ribfest, moncton.
Beautiful day. Wonderful atmosphere. Music was great. Ribs cant be beat.
Stayed within the local parking lot of this park for the most part. Was on the downside of a recent cold (not COVIDand was just chilling while my wife attended the recent Scottish Events Festival.Did go for a short walk and was treated to a guest performance by a local Stout (Short-Tailed weasel). It was after a dead mouse on the trail but was being kept back by the many humans. After watching for a bit I gave it relief by taking a stick to flip the dead mouse off to its side of the trail.Walking by later I noticed the mouse was gone (=happy Stout and, possibly, the Stout family since it was almost the same size).Look closely in the distant shot and you will see the Stout posed to the right of sign post.
Very boring park and the scenery wasnt that great. Also had to pay for parking to enjoy the park. Thats a buzz kill for me.
It can be the short trail that you can start from Hal Betts SportSplex toward the right-side road under the Gunningsville bridge. My curiousity took me here as I saw very nice boardwalk but didnt know where to start the trail and how to park the car. Truly nice route for a stroll or biking to enjoy the peaceful view of Chocolate River, Riverview city and Vaughan Harvey blvd
Great walk today and such nice weather.
Its a nice path. Good view of the Peti and is pretty well kept.
Quiet in this cool evening but Im sure lots going on in the day. Skatepark area, trails, war memorial, coffee shop. Wifi worked at first but then didnt after 20 min.
Really love this park, it is nice place to go for a stroll as there is a long paved trail and gardens and monuments along the way.
This is Monctons waterfront. Unlike Saint John, this is not on the Bay and there is no port. 5 kms of paved and gravel trails connect Moncton’s downtown to neighbouring communities of Dieppe and Riverview. Points of interest include Bore Park, natural landscapes, skateboard park, sports fields and commemorative monuments. Its a pretty quiet area and you can catch the tidal bore here.
Beaches are best in summers
Stunning full moon tonight. Peaceful evening stroll along the river awaiting the tidal bore. A wonderful place to bike, walk, sit and reflect.
Great place to walk, bike, sit and relax. It doesnt really get anymore waterfront than the riverfront! The tidal bore is impressive, even with chocolate coloured water. Makes me wonder how fish can see where theyre going in murky waters?
A little park in the downtown where one could passby and enjoy the calmness of life away from busy life.
When I went to this Beautifully kept Park. I parked in Riverview and walked across the Bridge. I found parking was minimal on Moncton, Assumption side. The paved walkways are great, very scenic & full of sites to see. From the RCMP monument , Celtic Cross, Acadia Heritage monument, the skate park, the wharf and of course the Tidal Bore. It is a beautiful Park & enjoyed my day there!
Nice trails and beautiful monument
Tidelbore, Amazing sunsets, Amazing Moon Rise, See lots of stars
Great place for a walk, jog, biking and really just hang around. If you look online you can find out when the Tidal Bore is expected to arrive and watch for a single wave of up to 2ft high come in on the river. In a short period of time the water will rise anywhere from a few feet to around 10 ft or more.Occasionally, on the summer months you may see someone surfing the Tidal Bore. (note the water is very polluted and surfing is not recommended). Some of Monctons festivals are held in this area as well.Be sure to check out the RCMP memorial while you are there. You can start in Riverview and go all the way to Dover Rd in Dieppe (through Moncton), without having to worry about cars. (over 25kms of trails - great for bicycling! )
A beautiful walk through a beautiful city. This park runs along the river and its an amazing way to start or end your day. Take in the sights and sounds of the city. They park is a great place to walk, bike or rollerblade alone or with the family. Moncton is such a beautiful city and a big part of that is the green space you will find there.
Nice park along the Petitcodiac river, a block off Main st in the heart of Moncton. Lots of people running and cycling. There are some panels to describe history and nature of the area. One end also has a skatepark. Some benches on the river side of the trail would be nice to be able to see the tidal bore... and maybe some more trees/ shrubs.
Beautiful park right on the river downtown. Plenty of seating and shaded areas. As well as walking/biking trails. A good place to watch the Tidal bore pass by.
Saw the tidal bore come in a week ago nearby, was such a cool experience!
As a former US LEO, this was one of my most important stops on our journey. The impact of this memorial can not be explained by words.I shared my experience and photos with LEOs back home and none of us could talk while viewing. My 3 year old son was with us and running around laughing while we visited. Even in the shadow of their memory these men brought a comfort of security to enjoy our visit.God bless those who sacrifice for others and thank you to RCMP and New Brunswick for honoring these lost defenders.
Best place in the city to hangout with buddies and loved ones.Great park trail and open fresh air to roaming around at riverfront.STRONGLY RECOMMEND.
Beautiful place. Nice trail. Lots of artwork on the buildings as youre walking. Would definitely recommend for a nice walk with family or friends. Lots of benches to sit and enjoy the view.
Beautiful place, nicely manicured gardens, fantastic event space. If theres ever any events going on, I highly recommend a visit. Its so nice to see the city taking good care of this fantastic outdoor meeting space. Popular spot also for biking and jogging.
Riverfront park is a nicely landscaped greenbelt along the Petitcodiac River. The parks location makes for excellent tidal bore viewing when the tide starts to flood. The park is also home to the RCMP memorial (a dedication to 3 officers killed in Action in Moncton on June 4 2014.Take a leisurely stroll along the water and come pay your respects to 3 men that gave it all to protect their friends and coworkers.
We came to New Brunswick for Atlanticade it was held at Riverfront Park. I cant say enough how awesome the event was... The staff at the event where wonderful... Will be back next year
Good place to take a walk along the river although while we were there at low tide it was more of a mud pit haha but I guess thats what you get when you have these big tides :-)
Very nice..a path for jogging is available
Great place for a run. Well used by walkers, runners, strollers and cyclists.
Beautiful place to go walking or biking!
