River Side Camping in Berat

Perfect for one or two nights with your camper. Ten minute walk to the old city of Berat. Very friendly host who surprised us with some complementary fruit. Very decent and clean sanitary and even a small kitchen you can use.

Incredible place, very friendly owners that give you a warm welcome with homegrown fruit and they dont hesitate to help you out with anything you need. Cleanest sanitary ever. There are some nice seats under the wine ranks with an honosty bar. Most pitches have thatched roofs that provide lots of shade. The old center is 10 minutes walk, its very flat so it is an easy bike ride.

Wonderful owners, superckean and walking distance into town. Warm welcome with a bowl of fruit, great cooking facilities and shady backyard. Higly recommend, 15 Euro per night wirh camper and 4 people

Great hospitality. A warm welcome and tour of facilities and dish of fruits from the garden on arrival. Great value overnight rate and honesty bar and laundry are very reasonably priced too. €15 per night for 2 adults in a camper - electricity included. All facilities are here - domestic water for the van, drinking water, grey water and toilet disposal and 1 laundry use included in price - €3 for extra use. Showers and toilets immaculate. The owners rely on your honesty when paying. Highly recommended.

EVERYONE WAS LOVELY. THE LOCATION WAS GREAT FOR A 15 MINUTE WALK INTO TOWN. ONE FREE LAUNDRY INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS LACK OF DRINKING WATER TO FILL UP OUR TANKS (OH AND THE COCKERAL NEXT DOOR CROWING THROUGH THE NIGHT).

At first sight the place does look more like a camper area with some shade. But behind this, the very friendly and helpful owner created a nice sitting/terrace place. For €15/night you have everything you could need (very clean toilets/showers), including the first use of the washing machine (if you need more than one it’s €3/wash). There is a kitchen you can use (as well as dishes and cutlery), a fridge from what you can pick a drink or beer (that you pay at checkout). As a welcome you get some fresh fruits. Everything is done on trust basis and it works! Well done! We recommend it!

Really nice camping! The owner welcomes you with a bowl of fresh fruit and gives a tour of the camping. Facilities are really clean and the shower is hot. The old town is within walking distance and so are the restaurants! Would 100% recommend

In January, we have spent 5 nights at this campground. Actually, we just wanted to stay 1 or 2 two nights to get our washing done. But the owner is such a welcoming and friendly person. She gave us fresh fruits as a little welcome gift. The other days we got more fresh fruits and home made red wine. The campground is very good located to explore the city Berat by foot. This campsite has everything a camper can ask for! The site itself is beautifully decorated, it resembles the very warm welcome you receive by the owner. The facilities are extremely well maintained even off-season.

Our stay was really lovely thanks to the very kind and ambitious owner! She took great care of us, helpt us, gave us fruits for free. And the place is very nice and lovely made. Bathroom was always super clean and tidy and cleaned often a day. First washing machine for free and HOT showers also in winter!the village and castle near by is lovely and worth a visit. We would always come back!

The official name is riverside camping. Although located near the street, it is one of the nicest and warmest stuff that we met. The ownerin brings fresh fruit for the welcoming and is a open heart person. It is very clean and you have a sitting area with hammocks and a indoor kitchen for cooking. The camping sites are under roof and you are allowed to wash your laundry for free. We had a great time and a very pleasant stay !

Perfect spot to visit Berat. Even if the service in Albania is always friendly. This was by far the friendliest. Facilities are impeccable

Its a small very clean camping. The people are very friendly, and the site is near the city and old town (20 min by feet). Toilets and showers are clean and with hot water, outside you can wash your dishes and have a beer and softdrink fridge. And there is a nice terrace to chill or take your (ownmeal. Recommendation!

The camp is in walking distance to the city center of Berat. We stayed here in our Camper van and loved that each place was shady. There was drinking water. The sanitaries were always kept clean. We especially loved the little garden area where you could hang out – at tables, in a hammock or the sofa/seating area. Highly recommended! :)

Very nice family run camping place. Clean, cheap and nicely decorated. The hosts gave us selfgrown grapes. Delicious. Eventhough it is beside a street, it isnt loud at all. Best camping place for Berat. 5 min on foot to the center.

Was greally great staying here for a night to visit Berat the next morning. A lot of free possibilities like using a washing machine and even a kitchen with equipment that works perfectly. We checked out the other campground more upstream and came back to this one which is way better. The owner is very friendly and welcoming.

Very nice camping place. Might be the one with cleanest facilities on our 4 month Balkan trip. First round in washingmachine is free. A Lot of places in the shade (but no trees, man made spots). You can cold drinks. We got some fruits as welcome present. Next to a street, but not a very busy one. No street dogs. About 1 km walk to oldtown berat.

Very nice welcoming, the family that runs this camping is interesting in human relationship, something unique and hard to find. High attention for every traveller. Never stayed in a camping so clean. The shadow sometimes is not enough but you can relax at the garden, with sunbeds, beach umbrella. TOP!!! 10 min from the center of Berat, good place to stay and visit the city. The price is absolutely right for the cleaning and effort they make. Recommended. The best wishes for your business!

The best camping we had during our balkan trip. Very nice and helpful owners, close to the ancient city of Berat (a 10 minutes walk), very clean and comfy toilet and shower. We enjoyed our days there!

The best place to camp for the reasonible price! Fully equipped: current, toilets, showers and even laundry! And of course - one of the kind climate!

Definitely worth to stay, even though there is no river ;)Extremely nice, helpful and polite owners and stuff. All needed facilities available, working and clean. The area itself was very nice, you could find some place to sit, and to find some shadow. Easy access from the main road. Close to the city.

It is not so impressive when you arrive, it is not close to water/riverside and it is 44 degrees. We were welcomed with a bowl of fruit and the bathrooms are super clean. We could cycle to the castle, town etc. Camping for 1/2 days are fine

The whole camping is very ocean and well managed. It is very close to the city center. The owner is very good nad cultured. It was very nice staying here.

Very nice and clean campsite right next to the City of Berät. +-10min walking.I could place my tent under one of the camper roofs so this was kind.Nice and clean toilet and shower.You can use the small kitchen to prepare your food and use the fridge.Good WiFi and very nice garden to sit and relax.Owner asked if I could give a improvement but I couldnt think of one.But now I know one maybe some kind of breakfast service would be nice.

Amazing family camping. We felt relaxed, and taken carre of. Perfect location to see Berat, shaded pitches, very clean bathrooms, possibilty to use washing machine. You can seat in the garden and have some chilled beer.

I would totally recommend staying there. There are shaded pitches for campers and a cosy garden with grass and trees for tents. Next to it, there is a lovely common area with tables and beautiful kitchen. All the facilities were clean. There are washing machines and fridge. Host were very nice and helpful, making the atmosphere of the place unique. Thank you!

Friendly, good facilities and nice location. Owner and family go out of their way to help you. Walked with us to the local shop, gave directions to the old town, provided fresh fruit from the garden, excellent. Sanitary block is better than most in France!

Great spot, friendly host, secure, well serviced and clean. Easy and enjoyable walk into old city, across historic Gorica bridge. Be sure to have a Turkish coffee from the old lady’s cafe on the Gorica side of the Gorica bridge, across the street from bridge entrance. The best € you will ever spend on coffee.

A very pleasant campsite within walking distance of the city. Most parking and tent places are in shade. There is wifi, electricity. Hot water in very clean toilets and showers. There is washing mashine. The owners are very nice and helpfull. I really receomend this place.

A great place to spend a few nights and see the beatiful city of Berat! River side camping is a completly new campside nearby the Berat old town. Its very clean, there is a lot of place for campers and other cars as well. There is also a separate kitchen, a room with new washing machine, WIFI available, as well.But whats the most important - we were hosted so kindly, there. I have an impression that its a kind of family business, but all of them are so nice and helpful. Weve been served fresh local fruits (twice!a offered a good bye gift - a small bottle of local Raki :)We trully recommend that camping!

We were very satisfied, it provides electricity and wi fi,there is ful infrastructure. Parking spots are in the shade. Toilets and bathroom extra clean. Hosts are very nice. Walking distance from the city.
