Rituals Coffee House - Cafe in Port Maria, Jamaica
A great alternative to the Starbucks & the Cafe Blues of Jamaica. Friendly, down to earth staff, fast service and quality food with an assortment of drinks (hot & cold). Tried their bacon, turkey & cheese panini with a Café Mocha drink, and they were both good.Although it is in the middle of a plaza (that has some ungoing construction at the time of this review), it is very quiet inside. I was able to do some work without much distraction.I have to say, the cookies that they have are MASSIVE. About 2-3 times the size of a normal cookie, you could easily share one between people and taste good too. The rest of their pastries look appealing as well, will be trying a muffin on my next trip.
The service is amazing, the coffee amazing and the barista always remembers my drink as soon as I walk in...
Look here: if you need somewhere to just chill and work, get reasonably priced snacks and be treated like royalty while you access free WiFi, Rituals is the place to go!
Rituals was very comfortable, peaceful and a great spot to chill out after work.the coffee is absolutely splendid. I would encourage anybody to go there.
Ive been coming here since Ive been in primary school and it is my home away from home, its comfortable, staff is friendly, and food is Amazing and its somewhere where you just never want to leave me. This place is 10/10 would recommend
Stopped in at my official home away from home today. Had a grande coffee and panini. Food was done the way I enjoy it. Coffee was on point. The second most relaxing atmosphere apart from my bed. Friendly staff, exceptional food, amazing atmosphere. Sorry I cant share food pics; didnt remember to take pics until the food was done how good it was 😀
Love the coffee, love the space to think and write.
I love the ambience!!! The smoothie was great. Excellent customer service!!
I really want to give a 4.5. It is a nice peaceful little nook in the crazy center of Kingston (Half-Way-Tree). The owner is extremely friendly and remembers you even after one visit. (The truth is I made an unusual request and she accepted the challenge). The second time I went, she asked, What interesting thing you have in mind today?.Thats when it registered that she remembered me. 😊I made another request and she was willing to build it for me. So customer service is excellent. Make sure you go during the off-hours, because it can get a bit slow then, and there will be more seats available, however, if youre not in a rush, pause and take a break there. A lot of creatives do. They also have interesting art work on their walls for sale.It is a go to spot for me when Im in Kingston and near this location.
Their menu has a wide variety of options. The Tuna wrap and white chocolate chiller were exceptional. You should stop by.
A very warm and friendly service. Management and staff are very professional. The ambiance is great. I enjoyed my Panini and my smoothie. My daughter the coffee drinker, had a vanilla chai latte, which she said was the best she ever had, and she’s tried other places. I will definitely come back on my next visit to the island.
This is my absolute favorite place to visit. The staff is just amazing, friendly, and very attentive. The place is clean and has a relaxing ambience. The food is excellent
The ambiance is very nice. Customer service is great.
Was pretty nice there only had the smoothies though. There were very tasty but maybe too sweet.
Amazing café. The staff is great and the food and drinks are affordable! I went yesterday and I can already say I’m going to be a regular there!
Visited my “Grounds for Enjoyment” recently and had a chicken lasagna which was looked good, smelled great, and was quite delicious. The salad was freshly made and was quite tasty.I highly recommend this item.
The food and service here is exceptional. Ive been coming here for years and Ive never been disappointed. They made my birthday extra special! Love this place 😊🤍
This is my spot in Jamaica. Blue mountain coffee served here! Friendly people...ladies make you feel welcome.
The food was immaculate, service was very efficient!
Love this place! I spend most of my mornings here as an entrepreneur. The staff is friendly and courteous the food is delicious and the coffee is heavenly. I love the way the owner integrates herself in the customer service aspect and takes the time to know her customers. It makes you feel appreciated.
My Favorite ‘Coffee’ place. Pleasant atmosphere, very peaceful. Customer service +1 ! Very nice staff.
Good setting, good coffee and pleasant staff.
Tried to have a quick meeting here... epic fail. The internet was very unstable and between the blenders and the music I couldnt hear myself think. The food however is good. Bought a Plantain Tart and a Cranberry muffin. They were good... would have preferred them warmed instead of cold put the showcase but they were tasty. Also a Lemon Cooler. The lemon was strong with this one but I liked it. Refreshing after the gym! All in all its pretty OK.
Had a blast. The chillers and veggie burgers are a must have. The service was good. Prices reasonable.
I am NOT a fan of Starbucks, and Ive always thought with our Blue and High Mountain Coffee brands we can have similar cafés on the island. I was glad to come across this little cafe with a variety of beverages and foods. The set-up could use some work, but I like the concept. The service is fine. The food was not bad. It will require another visit. The price is not cheap, for the price paid, the presentation couldve been more impressive.Yes, I would go back to try a coffee or tea and another dish. Like I stated, I like the concept, and the location.
Friendly and efficient service.Wide ranging menuWasnt very busy for a Friday afternoon.Got my order in under 10 minutes
Im not a fan of coffee, however after being invited by friends a coffee was chosen by the pros and it was delicious. Service superb! the pastries home made, that salivated my taste buds.
Great customer service. 👌 I went to shoot a commercial and they were very patient to let us do our process and enjoy some great food.
Rituals coffee house is like a second home - except with excellent service and a much tastier menu. There isn’t a better place for hot chai lattés in the ISLAND. And that’s a quote 🤣.But truly - the food is great, the drinks are superb and the staff is friendly- 10/10
Prices are very reasonable. Small is filling like a 350-500ml. Prices from $300 up. Good customer service and recommendation. Fast preparation..coffee and sandwiches , bagels are delicious. Fruit Smoothies also good.
Great friendly staff to start with, a good ambience for sitting relaxing getting a hot or cold brew along with a slice of cake or a sandwich.
Sweet and friendly staff, this place is a cozy oasis in the middle of Halfway Tree
The ambiance was lovely not to mention the service. The food (I had a breakfast sandwichwas delicious and the coffee was spot on.The owner was very personable and interacted well with the crowd during busy time s
Decent spot for a first date guys. Between the menu, intimate seating and the ambiance all is left is for you not to talk your way out of it and let this venue do most of the work. For best results, go when its in the late afternoon to evening hours and hopefully by then construction on the outside will clear up to introduce the more various lights and tones of the plaza.
The only place I go to chill and vibe with good people, wonderful customer serviceAnd my favourite flavour chilla.
The person who took my order was friendly and my frap with delicious.
The food is very average and the prices are very high. The only good thing is the coffee and the female employees chat the customers. I heard them chatting me. If you gonna chat people do so discreetly. Smh. Fake.
Had a Dulce de Leche Chiller (a frap basicallyand my husband had regular coffee. We both enjoyed our beverages. My husband raved about his coffee , said it seemed to be real Blue Mountain coffee. They have a lot of food and beverage choices. Due to Covid seating capacity is limited. In recent years there has been an explosion in coffee shops and a growing coffee culture . While I do support larger chains it is always great to support small locally owned businesses especially in this time. If youre in Kingston give them a visit.
I think I am bias when it comes to Rituals. The staff is so pleasant and their suggestions are always on point. I started drinking the White Chocolate Chiller with a extra shot of coffee about three years ago and thats always my go too drink. Plus they have a rewards card😁😁
There’s nothing quite like the right cup of coffee, unless it’s the right cup of chai latte for me and without fail Rituals gets it right every time. Every single member of staff is A+ and get my order perfect even on quick run days. Always super clean and the ambiance is perfect for quick meetings or working away from the office. Covid considered, still my absolute favorite place to pop in to grab a latte and a breakfast burrito... heading there now lol.
One of my favorite coffee shops in Kingston. My only issue is that they often run out of the best Frappuccino (blended cold coffeeflavors and then take forever to restock. For purists, the coffee is hot and strong so cant go wrong there. The salmon and chicken Alfredo pastas are pretty good. Sometimes the wait can be a while. The staff are very nice and will make you feel welcome. They usually keep work from local artists hanging on the walls, so make sure to take a look while you wait for your order!
A litle slice of the cosmopolitian life smack in the heart of uptown Kingston. Kept one star for me because its just a tad pricey.
Just an average coffee shop however they have obviously tried to revamp their products and it has paid off. Good to catch a quick bite or ofcourse some coffee
Great place for coffee, cake and a light lunch. Also a nice internet cafe.
Always a pleasure to see a Rituals. So far Ive been to the Rituals in St. Kitts & Jamaica. The quality is consistent regardless of the location. Great customer service and never waiting for long to get my order. My staple is the Pralines and Cream chiller but I love to try the different donuts and other magnificent creations that they have to offer. Be sure to visit the Rituals in Half Way Tree Jamaica when you have a chance. I believe the plaza is called Village Plaza (Same plaza with Wendys)
Awesome service each time I go, food is fresh and done to order, coffee is flavourful and strong plus they only use Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee #supportlocal. They serve a variety of items, including paninis, pastas and salads, as well as pastries. All in all the best cafe experience in Jamaica to date!
Ive tried basically all the foods and drinks they have on their menu and I am in love. The picture Ive posted is their cookie and cream chiller. My ultimate fav!
Lovely vibe. My chicken salad wrap was excellent; having it lightly grilled was a nice touch!
Coffee was to my liking, as I entered the establishment I knew I was in heaven based on the aroma of coffee I smelled and it smell good. Wonderful place for Coffee lovers to have a good coffee, customer service is excellent.
Good service, food is hot and ready to eaten freshly ground coffee 😎😎. Oh and the wifi is fast too.... maybe a bit pricey thou but its worth it..
