Review for the restaurant - really delicious pizza. We ordered one pizza per person and got surprised by their size! Ended up with lots of leftovers that tasted as good the next day. Try Golosa pizza, its amazing! Service was a bit cold but we didnt really mind it. Really cute kitty on the premises. Great place to go out!

we stayed in las penitas for 5 nights. We ate dinner there three times and it was great every time! The owners are super friendly! gave us a wonderful time. Would come back again and again! Italian‘s Bestps: thx for the best haircut and the emergency help with my ray sting :)

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved everything about it: the cabañas are beautiful and very new (very clean bathrooms too), the pool is lovely, the restaurant absolutely delicious (best pasta we‘ve had in a very long time!and most of all, the owners went out of their way to make us feel at home, we even got a great haircut :Highly recommend this place, it is heaven!

Great service and nice ambience. I ordered the Gorgonzola and Noci pasta and it was delicious and plentiful. My husband got the pizza capricciosa. It came out undercooked so it got sent back and they cooked it some more for us without problems. That said I’d strongly suggest skipping the pizza and going with the pasta.We also got a great bottle of wine.

CABINS: one of the best, if not the best stay on our 3 month journey! We stayed here for five nights but wouldn’t mind staying five nights longer. Everything is so new and clean. We felt like being in a 5 star resort. The location is perfect just across the street is the main beach with a beautiful sunset in the evening and good surf. Breakfast also 10/10. Would love to come back again soon!

Pizza and pasta were both amazing. The momotombo had a really nice kick. The smoked cheese with bacon was also good as well as the ravioli de carne. Lots of options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Our server was super sweet and brought us after dinner drinks on the house after the third night we ate there. The owners are also super sweet and work both in the kitchen and serving tables. They come out and chst with customers and create a really nice environment. Top notch Italian food on the coast of nicaragua. I ate here every night while in Las penitas.

Amazing food! I had the ravioli spinach and ricotta and an aperol spritz and a glass of red wine. All of which were just wonderful! I was worried the food might take a while because there was only one server and quite a few people in the restaurant but it was quick and good service! Recommend! The food was just amazing!!!

Friendly, helpful staff and delicious food. Had the bruschetta (flavorful and the bread is very freshand the gorgonzola walnut pasta (pasta is house made). Plenty of vegetarian options as well. Next time, Ill try the pizza. Will definitely go back.

Wow! Got a recommendation to check out La Puesta del Sol from a local and we were amazed to hear there was an authentic Italian restaurant in the area. Open on weekends only in October, the setting is really cozy and the staff is very welcoming. Really happy to see Aperol Spritz on the menu to kick off proceedings and then enjoyed a delicious pizza (they are big!and the BEST seafood pasta Ive ever had. Finished the meal with a scrumptious panna cotta! Highly recommend and cant wait to come back :)

Love this quaint family owned Italian Restaurant. Fantastic service, and the pizzas are super delicious, a must have while you are in Las Peñitas.
