Ristorante Natalino - Restaurant in Florence, Italy
The pear filled pasta with Gorgonzola might be the best pasta dish I had in Italy. Rabbit stew with crisp potato wedges is also nice. Very friendly service as well. The outside seating area has a nice view of a small piazza.
Excellent service with outstanding recommendations on paste. Also great wine pairing.
This was our BEST meal in Italy so far. Had the Stracotto con Puré (Beef Cheek Stew with Mash Potatoesand Gnocci con Calamari. I was initially scared to try the beef cheek, but it tasted like tender beef if the most flavorful sauce. I definitely would recommend.
I ordered the tortelli as recommended by the very friendly waiter, and it was amazing! The portion looked small, but it was so filling.
Delicious! Service was quick, food was delicious and the location was brilliant too ❤️
Fantastic meal and service. Steak was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend
Incredible is the only way to describe this restaurant. Atmosphere was great, service excellent, and the food was amazing. Best meal Ive ever had in Italy. We got the bruschetta, lasagna and the tortellini. Tortellini was so good we ordered a second round of it. This restaurant will be a place I return to every time I visit Florence.
First time in this restaurent.... Strongly recommended by our local. Guide...... Pasta really..... Wine is really good but the steak is not what we expected......
Amazing service, amazing food ❤️ Lively atmosphere. Highly recommend the pistacchio ravioli and tiramisu.
Feels touristy and doesn’t have that cozy vibe of a family-run restaurant. As other reviewers said, the staff has kind of an attitude. Food was good but nothing extraordinary.
Every time I come to Florence, I make it a point to dine here. The food is just perfection. They have the most delicious tomato soup. You can never go wrong with ordering their lasagne. Their beef cheek stew is mouth watering. Not only is the food great but the atmosphere of the restaurant makes you want to stay and order another bottle of wine. Thank you ristorante Natalino for always providing the best food and service!
I would’ve loved to eat here but apparently the staff have too much of an attitude problem to be bothered to seat guests despite there clearly being vacant tables. Not a good start. I hear the food is good.
Easily one of the best cuts of meat I’ve ever eaten. Cannot recommend Natalino enough if you want to try authentic Italian bistecca. Also, the tiramisù is to die for.
Fantastic food and wine for fair prices. Friendly staff. Be sure to get the aged Fiorentine steak!
I would have given them four stars had it not been that one of the plates was chicken and was raw inside and the attitude of the staff. We asked the waiter after 20 minutes and it was almost as if it were our fault because “they had to start from scratch due to covid regulations”. The rest of the table was eating of course and we ended up sharing food as it happened to be for my youngest and by the time his food came about we were all done eating. The bill didn’t change despite the inconvenience which is something unexpected although being a tourist restaurant it doesn’t matter I guess. As for the food we had a lovely papa col pomodoro, which I recommend, there’s also a tagliata with balsamic sauce that was better off without the sauce and is better in other restaurants in Florence honestly.
It’s a very good restaurant, friendly staff and very good foodThe only. Downside is the plate fill ratio/ price paid, it was a little bit small for the price
Service was great, and amazing food! One of the best pastas I’ve eaten in my 10 days trip in Italy!
Great staff! Their French fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. The tagliata was so tender and so noms. Amazing deserts- the fruit mouses were amazing and the staff is so sweet. Family owned and ran and you really feel it. I took my son there for his 1st birthday and they surprised him with a fruit mousse. We went 4 times while in Florence for the month.
Best pasta I’ve ever had. Pear stuffed pasta with Gorgonzola was amazing…
Fabulous dinner with Gnochi & Calamari, Pear filled Foccinchio and Ravioli with Pesto, Pine nuts and dried tomatoes...you cant go wrong with any of the desserts. A botlle of the Caccia al Piano Ruit Hora
Our favorite meal in Florence and the best service! Everyone was so kind and attentive.
Absolutely delightful! This is a small family owned restaurant. Everyone we encountered here was courteous, and they also speak English which was very helpful. We ate here twice during our stay in September 2021, and twice during our stay in February 2022. The restaurant is perfectly located. Our favorite food here was their cheesecake; it was served warm and it was heavenly! We found everything we ordered to be a home run. A must when youre in Florence.
This is not a joke, its the worst serviceever, were sitting there and waited 42 minutes to give our order for the dinner but unfortunately nobody came to take our order even we called them but no response, I think they dont want any guests just Italian guest only 😕
Best steak Ive had for a long time, fries looked odd but tasted great. The sweet was nice and the coffee perfect. Back again after 5yrs same result excellent steaks and good wine.
Had an absolutely fantastic lunch here. We were a table of four and shared two salads to start and then a bowl of pasta each. We washed this down with beer, white wine and for myself the house Chianti Classico. An excellent meal beautifully cooked. The staff were also fantastic. We went back here a second time for a meal of the damous Florintine Steak Fabulous
Honestly, everything is delicious. Staff is amazing. Go here ASAP
I absolutely adored their fresh pear and pecorino ravioli with Gorgonzola sauce, they were so so good! Their appetizer was not the best but their tiramisu was to die for. Our waiter was very nice and helpful! I strongly recommend you call in advance to make a reservation.
I came here 4 years ago and remembered this dish as being the best pasta Ive ever had and 4 years on it still remains true. Thank you for the beautiful dining experience, truly delicious.
Nice outdoor seating, friendly staff, yummy menu. It’s a bit pricy that’s why I won’t give it 5 stars
As a vegetarian the pear-filled gorgonzola ravioli were everything and more than I had dreamed of! Absolutely heavenly. We also enjoyed the service, house wine and overall atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing food and service! If you are in Florence, I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious, the waiters were very attentive and nice, the dessert and espresso were great! It’s in a lively street and there is nice ambiance in a relaxed environment.
Natalino is a truly brilliant place!Ravioli with pistachio pesto, tortellini with pear and Gorgonzola, awesome crostini with beans and cavolo nero… what a fantastic menu and on top of that all excellently executed. We can’t wait to be back!
I’m from Texas, so the steak didn’t exactly meet up to my expectations, but the pasta made up for it! Tortellini Cacio e Pepe & Pesto Pistachio Ravioli did not disappoint!! Also loved this local cab/merlot blend. Superb pasta and service at this lovely locally owned restaurant!
The atmosphere, the service, the food - each delightful element left no room for improvement in quality or execution. We came for lunch on a Sunday (with a reservationand it was packed with locals - most of whom appeared to be regulars. Don’t let the perfect location and seemingly ‘touristic’ or popular couple of pasta dishes (which are absolutely flawless!cause you to shy away. I couldn’t recommend Natalino more.
Their artichoke salad topped with shaved Parmesan is a-must to try 🤤Great service and amazing food👍🏼👍🏻
Truly excellent, recommended to us by a native of Florence and it did not disappoint! We loved everything, and I appreciated that many of the food recommendations I saw online were not on the menu when we were there, because that means the restaurant is adapting to what is available and in season. But what was on the menu was excellent!
Food was excellent! And service really good waiter also helped with recommendations and all was super :)
I think this may have been the best place I ate at in all of Italy. Definitely get the pasta here. I got gnocchi with calamari and zucchini and various wine. All of it was incredible! Also they were so lovely to a solo dinner, which is not already the case. I felt such a warm welcoming atmosphere. I wish I found this place sooner.
Delicious Florentine steak and excellent service. Highly recommend!
Beautiful and famous family restaurant!!!With very good kitchen and family friendly staff!!!
Amazing restaurant located in a busy square. The ambiance is amazing and the steak was outstanding.
Best pasta we have ever had - try the pear with gorgonzola or the ravioli with pistachio pesto. Great staff and really good prices for such quality wine and food. Will defo go back!
One of the best meals I had in Italy! Pasta, boar, rizzoto, all great. Plus a very nice wine list with excellent prices. Friendly service and we were a group of 11! They were really great and welcoming.
A nice Brunello, a beautiful medium-rare Florentine steak, veal and a bit of pannacotta to finish things off. What more could you ask for? In addition to the great food, the service was excellent and unpretentious. Very highly recommended!
Wonderful ristorante off the beaten path, away from the usual tourist spots. Great service, delicious food. We were the only non-Italians there!
We were warmly welcomed at Natalino and offered a seat on their lovely terrace or in inside where there is AC.The service was top notch, the food was excellent and the location is right downtown, without being packed with tourists. If we return to Florence, we will make sure to return!
If youre in Florence and are looking for a truly amazing dinner check out Natalino. The service is fantastic. The food is amazing. Nothing else I could ask for.
Good restaurant. If you want to enjoy toscana traditional food, I could recommend.Good food, kind staff.
So far one of the best restaurant in Florence !! The menu proposes all typical Tuscany recipes. We had risotto al taleggio and pasta alle pere e gorgonzola... just delicious! The Fiorentina steak was just amazing!!Service is very gentle and price affordable.A must if you are in Florence !
A recommendation from our hotel, we decided to avoid the signature pear and gorgonzola ravioli (even though we love bothand found it dishes to be lovely but just a bit more salty than we normally like (and we love well seasoned food). Staff were great and wines too.
