Excellent location . Fabulous pastas and vegeterian casserole. They have a lot of options for vegeterians. Service is excellent and so is the location.

Great Italian food. We are American, and we had a rookie waiter. He spoke almost no English and we spoke almost no Swiss or Italian, whatever it was he was speaking. He was nervous and reserved at first, but we had a great time trying to figure out what all of us were saying. By the end of a great meal he and we were laughing and having a great time.

Everything perfect, the eployees were super friendly.

Ate there Monday 26 September. Pizza good, minestrone very nice, spaghetti bolognese OK; great location on waterfront; very friendly staff, one of whom inserted himself into selfie one of my friends was taking 🙂 (great to see a waiter with a personality). Not cheap though, but nothing in Switzerland is 🥴.

Good food with decent prices as for a spot in city center with nice view . Quite quick service . Yet as 5 concerning quality and taste it cant be rated ... 4.5 max . This extra 0.5 for tiramisu ... A good one 👍

Good experience near the river in the old city. A little bit crowded but thats normal in summer... Pizza were good. A bit expensive for non swiss resident but normal prices for a swiss restaurant.

We had the chicken salad, Tagliatelle with pesto, the penne Aurora, the spinach ravioli and the trabici pizza. The food was hearty, with large portions. Generous for the price considering its Switzerland. Two out of the 4 of us couldnt finish their mains. We also had a glass of chianti and a coke. The bill was 135 CHF which puts this at the top of the value for money meals weve had in the last week. A solid 4 stars for the food. The 5th star is because of Erica our waitress. She was incredibly nice, so so pleasant, served us with a smile and just made us happy we ate there. Thank you!

Great Service, great food and great place to drink a beer in the swish summer

Avoid the Lasagna. The meat quality is very low, you will find chewy bits every 3rd or 4th bite!After initially giving this place 2 stars, I had to edit this review as the waiter lied to us. He claimed he made a mistake by charging us for a pizza instead of our pasta.After looking at the 2 bills, it just does not make any sense! The “mistaken” bill is dated from the previous day!!!The same guy spilled a coke on our table and my friends jacket and dis not apologize, mistook the order at the table behind us and was also late with part of our order!It is now a few hours after we ate there, and I have been feeling a slight indigestion for the past hours!“Top” experience! Never again!Have a look at the receipts attached just in case this whole thing sounds too fantastic to be true!

One of the best restaurants when it comes to Italian cuisine. Situated on the banks of lake of Luzern, enjoying good Italian food as well as the beauty of Luzern is indeed a double treat! Very friendly staff!

Food was really great. Had the ravioli, the crusted lamb (I would highly recommend if you like your cut cooked just right), and the sorbets are a very nice way to end a meal jam packed with flavor.Customer service was a little slow but i understand if your busy your busy.

We waited almost 2 hours for a table and even told them that we wanted to sit, we also didn’t mind waiting since it was packed. After four ladies showed up (didn’t even make a reservationand they sat them before us (we were three). The waitress saw us wait multiple times and she let these ladies before us smh. I even talked to her and her excuse was “I did not see you” when we literally made eye contact. Never again.

The food is just ok. They only have specific dishes available between 2 to 6 pm. Hence didnt get to eat what we want.Service wise is really so so. Dont recommend coming here unless you have no other choice. We ordered orange juice but didnt come.

Excellent food, service and location.

I ordered Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare ( spaghetti with black tiger shrimps, cuttlefish, mussels, garlic, hot peppers). The spaghetti tastes like store bought and this dish does not have any sauce to combine flavors. Very disappointing. The reason I gave 3 starts because seafood was very fresh and house red wine is delicious. Don’t get spaghetti but maybe try something else with seafood.

Excellent food, excellent location with a view of the river, very nice staff. It was only inconvenient that they didnt have 3 items that I ordered. Two because if the time frame, as they have a window frame for some dishes on the menu (although the menu sign outside, on the side walk, was still showing the item I wanted to order. Even after we left, the sign was still up displaying the "not available" menu).

The English speaking waitress!! Oh she and the food were absolutely fabulous.The best location to sit, eat and have a refreshing drink after a tour around the lovely luzern.

On a clear, autumn evening, the outside patio on the lake was full. So we instead opted for a second floor table with a beautiful window view of the area. The food was good. We enjoyed salads and the special fish and lamb. Our daughter had the Hawaiian pizza (to each their own), which she enjoyed. The house bread is warm and tasty and this place has a great wine selection. The house wines are super. Don’t forget dessert, in my case it was a digestif of high end grappa. For my family, they shared a gelato Sunday.

I cannot rave about this restaurant enough! My husband and I enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal right on the Lucerne river - in fact it was the BEST Italian meal we had our entire trip (and we went to Italy). Our waiter was friendly and provided us with wonderful suggestions. If you are in the area, this is a must do!

Efficient and attentive service. The rather expensive piccata was perfect: substantial yet fluffy and light with just the right amount of zing. Small but good wine selection. Perfect location.

Expensive, but good with amazing view of river and the town. The crusted lamb was delicious. My wife had a penne pasta dish with chicken and mushrooms that was also excellent. Local lager on tap was great.

Great location, unfortunately very rude and bad service.We wanted to have lunch here, we saw many people just got seated by themselves so we thought we’d ask if we should wait to be seated or we can just help ourselves.We approached the entrance of the restaurant and tried to ask, but the chef (or owner?looked very disgusted by our presence and used his hand gesture to tell us to get lost.

It was an Italian restaurant that I went to eat a cup of beer and pizza, but I don’t ordered it. because I found a menu to eat steak and spaghetti with tomato sauce at once. The meat was soft and the spaghetti was really delicious. Very good food, fresh shrimps & squids that we had. Service lady was not friendly & kinda ignored us (maybe she think we are the rude, annoying Chinese tourists regardless, still need to be nice & friendly... Just saying.

Very nice waiters!The dishes are good and not very expensive. You can enjoy the fantastic view with delicious food. I like their pizza very much!

It’s a very good Italian restaurant. I suggest you the “Lasagna al Forno”, it is an excellent option but it’s a little bit big.

Very average Italian food, most basic Italian restaurant but the location of this restaurant is excellent a very stunning view of the old town bridge, our waiter was average about giving us an authentic experience in this restaurant but we waited for her to get to us for 15 mins to even submit the order. Disappointed but the view was to die for.

Located on the water. Very busy. Food was okay. Neither a good nor bad experience.I ordered the TriPasta - (see picturePasta sauce and Pesto sauce seem straight from a can. Ravioli was tough but the sausage inside was good.

Our tour group ate at this restaurant in Lucerne on the last night of our stay in Switzerland.As a group, we ate in the large party room upstairs with a pre-set menu. Our entrée choices were trout or veal. The veal was the correct choice. The fish was steamed and so full of water that it was tasteless.The service was good and our group kept the wait staff moving. After we had eaten, they left us alone for awhile so we could have a short Farewell Program.We liked the desert and the view of the Chapel Bridge and the river as the lights came up. It was a lovely evening and end to a fabulous trip. Farewell Lucerne!

Went there for lunch and it was really enjoyable.U might need to wait a while for the waiter to serve you as they are always full house !They have both indoor and outdoor sitting !!Really love the pasta here !It was 8.5-9/10 for the pasta. The noodles was really chewy and it was the right hardness and texture ! The sauce and gravy was just nice !When u eat the flavours just rushes to ur tastebuds, making u want to eat more after the 1st bite!!Do check it out if u happen to be there ! Cheers !

Five stars for the view. Food was avarage and rather pricey; the small portion of Tagliatelle Pesto I had was...small and rather salty. Their pizza was ok and more.reasomably priced. The service was rather indifferent, though we did not experience the bad service mentioned by other reviewers. Give this a miss unless youre prepared to forgo the food and service for the best view of the Chapel bridge

Waitress was helpful although looking busy all the time. The steak was wrongly cooked well done but the waitress helped to change for a new one which was nicely cooked medium rare. Risotto tastes good as well. Definitely a recommended restaurant to have fine dining alongside the lovely Luzern River.

Good Pasta and great place to eat when you are in the old town of Luzern. You can sit by the lake. Great view.

Like all of Lucerne, the prices are sky high. But here you dont pay for quality or service, but for atmosphere and view. The food is decent, nothing remarkable, but if you get an outside table (might have to time it right and snatch one as someone is leaving), its definitely worth the price.
