Risotto Restaurant - Italian restaurant in Hue, Vietnam
Risotto Restaurant in Hue
Description
Privilege
Gorgeous Italian. Really busy, but super slick service and really great food. Our pizzas were thin, crispy, and simple. Just how we like them. Vietnamese food looked awesome too. Oh, and it is really, really good value!!!! 🍕🍺😊
MoreIf you’re looking for a good pizza place don’t come here. We red reviews and were really disappointed. Pizza tastes like paper. Not good at all unfortunately. Staff is super nice though. They gave a free bruschetta and passion fruit and were super friendly. Really appreciate. But again not a pizza place.
MoreSuper-friendly staff. Excellent food: great value. We ate at Risotto having read the excellent reviews, and we werent disappointed. The tomato and basil pasta was simple, but very tasty and better than most that youd get in expensive UK Italian restaurants. The complimentary tomato and garlic bruschetta was a unexpected pleasure and the fresh passion fruit beautifully sweet. The staff were lovely Visit Risotto Restaurant when youre in Hue!
MoreRisotto is quite cheap and well located, the food is good but not exceptional, the pizzas are definitely decent but youve got to have been in Vietnam for a while to start craving a good pizza. Staff were plenty helpful.
MoreBeautiful people, best hospitality I have felt in Vietnam so far. The pizza was fantastic my partner and I are both chefs we were impressed by the food. Very surprised there was no Italian in the back whipping up the food but a local. U should support this local Business the waitress/owner told us her brother was the chef. Food arrived in good time. I can say u will be very happy with this pizza especially if u need a little break from Vietnamese food. + free drink with large pizza including wine
MoreGood food. And friendly people. The pizza was good and they seemed to accommodate our preferences.Definitely would recommend this place.
MoreFinally got to eat something that is not noodles and not soup..I wanted a break from eating local dishes since being here.pizza and pasta were good. Tried local Merlot which was not that good. It was crowded and everyone get free bruschetta and passion fruit for dessert..which is highly appreciated. Could go there again of we feel like having pizza.Ohh I also tried another Italian called pomodoro which was disappointing especially when my expectations were elevated after seeing so many positive reviews. So I guess, the reviews are subjective and could be quiet the opposite.
MoreWe were looking for a non Vietnamese meal for tonight so we ended up here.We got some bruschetta free as entries and ordered chicken with spaghetti and risotto with chicken. The dishes were tasting well not very far from what was expected. Service is ok. Place was not very clean on the floor.
MoreGreat food and lovely atmosphere! Happy hour gave us bruschetta and a wine with a large pizza too. Everything tasted good and left us wanting to get more.
MoreLoved this place, best pizza weve had since being in Vietnam, coffee was delicious, staff were so friendly and it was cheap 1 big pizza 2 drinks and also 2 free drinks cost us 7 English pounds, you cant go wrong with that, highly reccomend... for more videos and pictures of this place plus others around Vietnam check out our page on YT travelling on a shoestring 😀😀
MoreReally yummy food! Lots of options. Staff are super friendly. Bonus of complimentary bruschetta for starters and passion fruit for dessert. The local beer is really good and you get a free glass if you order a large pizza. Around £3 for pasta and £4 for pizza.
MoreGreat food and very friendly staff. It was a nice touch to get complimentary bruschettas and passion fruits.
MoreWe have been two nights in Hue. At the first evening we have spotted "Risotto". The vietnamese food was fantastic. At the tables around us a lot of people ordered pizza. It looked great and smelled fantastic. Because of this we came back at the next day and tried pizza. It was delicious, too. The story ends with a third visit and a great meal again. The staff is also really nice and kind. And dont miss a hot ginger tea. We fell in love with it. It is really spicy and sweet.
MoreLovely stone baked pizza if youre looking for this type of cuisine. Between 17:00 and 22:00 if you purchase a large pizza you recieve free bruschetta, fruit and drink which is excellent value. The service was excellent.
MoreThis restaurant is supervalued in trip advisor. Actually this dish that was calamary there was just two small pieces in the woodstick. Service was nice. And it is well Located.
MoreIf you see the menu you can understand that this is not a real Italian Restaurant. The pizza, pasta, and risotto looked good, though. I don’t know if they are even good. I had a grilled fish, which was steamed, with rice and vegetable. It was average and overpriced. Small portion.Good the two small bruschetta that they offer you at the beginning.
MoreGreat place serving delicious food - my daughter loved the pasta here. Service was lovely with the added bonus of a complementary bruschetta to start off with and passion fruit to finish your dining experience off with!! A must visit if you fancy a break from the local cuisine (they also serve Vietnamese food as well)
MoreGreat tasting food for a decent price. We ordered a large pizza ,basil pesto pasta and 2 waters and it came to 245000 dong. Overall a very good experience , would definitely go back.
MoreI can honestly say I feel sorry for 90% of the people that rate on google reviews. This is by far not Italian at all. Does it taste ok, yes I will give that. Portions are not big at all. I don’t know what the people are smoking before they eat but let me be clear on a good review. We came in as four guests. I ordered the lasagna and rate it a 3 out of ten and I am from USA. The other three guests had shared the pizza and ordered more dishes. One guest was from Berlin and she rated it a 7, one from Italy he rated it a 2, and one from New York he rated the pizza a five. They also ordered 3 pastas and said it was ok and nothing to highlight anything. We all meet up at the hostel and if we were friends I am sure a lot more complaining would have been done. If looking for western food then be all my dearest and order here. The food wasn’t untouchable it just surly is not as high as people give the ratings. So don’t expect to much because you will be highly disappointed just like I was. If you are going to eat anything here I’d say don’t order the pasta or lasagna. At least the pizza looked ok. The dishes are a nice setup and the workers seemed very nice.#italian food Hue
MoreDelicious food, and probably one of the nicest staff I have ever encountered. Very highly recommended!
MoreHad a good lunch here pesto penne and beer for 100k. Complimentary fruits.
We were drawn in by good reviews and were not disappointed. We both ordered a large pizza. We got a free Bruschetta appetizer, a simple but welcome watermelon dessert, both a free drink - a very small (and mediocrered wine and a small beer, but when the pizza is good, the price is decent and you get all these free extras, who cares what the wine tastes like? All in all we spent a little over 300k in total for an appetizer, 2 main dishes, dessert and 4 drinks, we cant complain. The staff is very friendly so all in all we had a very very nice experience.
MoreSmall Italian and Vietnamese restaurant. We tried pizza and pasta and both were amazing. Id recommend the pesto dish. We had no problems getting vegetarian or vegan dishes. Cosy atmosphere but gets busy at some time. Offers local beers and wines from all around the globe.
MoreVery nice pizza. The happy hour with free Bruschetta was a great surprise.
Absolutely great, true italian piza and pasta. Very nice staff, good wifi, local and world vines. Probably best italian restaurant in vietnam.
MoreEnjoyed a thin crust pizza and pork noodle dish with a peanut sauce that is somewhat unique to Hue. We came at Happy Hour and received bruschetta and soft drink gratis.
MoreItalian food in Hue! But the local dishes are just as excellent. Dishes with tofu around 80k VND and large pizza for 139k VND, local beer for around 17k VND a glas. And during happy hour we got a glass of local beer, bruschetta and passion fruit as desert on top. The atmosphere is very cute, it is completely open towards the street and a very small restaurant, hence can get very crowded around 7. However, after a short waiting time we could get seated. Staff was amazingly nice. Can really recommend this place. :)
MoreThe pizza and pasta here are so scrumptious and the portions are a great size. I ordered a cold lemon juice, but got a hot one. Not even upset, it was yummy. Came back the next night and did it again. Impressed.
MoreExcellent food. Quick and friendly service.Paid ₫139,000 for a large pepperoni pizza - due to "happy hour"* it turned out this included a small starter, free drink & some passion fruit for dessert.Had a chat to the owner on the way out - seems like a really well run place.*have seen others mention happy hour at earlier times (I was there around 21:30so Im not sure if the time has changed or if its always happy hour.
MoreBest meal deal I had in Vietnam! 139000 vnd for a pepperoni large pizza which came with a free small draft beer and passion fruit as a dessert (the Happy hour offer, I was there at 7-8 PM). The pizza is the crisp, thin type and it was very good. The service was a bit slow since it was very busy but the waiters did their best so I was actually glad to leave some tips (something which I avoid doing generally because its a horrible US habit exported to other countries 😀).
MoreAfter a week or so of eating mostly Vietnamese food, we broke down and went to a Western Restaurant. This was the perfect choice! The food was fantastic and the service amazing. The prices were quite good too, and there were lots of extras that we were given (like the bruschetta and the passionfruit for dessertfree of charge. I would definitely recommend this place if youre missing Western food in Hue!
MoreExcellent pizza 4 seasons ,fair price. I really enjoy the local red wine from Dalat, thought a bit expensive in a country where beer is so cheap.
MoreLoved it! It was a very cosy place & the waiters were very friendly and professional. The food was amazing. We even got some free fruit afterwards and bruschettas as a free entrance. The portions are not really big so I wish there was more dessert available (only a fruit platter). But I would definitely go back to this place!
MoreReally good food and the staff was super nice :we had the fish and it was super fresh and deeeelicious! Interior almost feels like a real Italian :keep up the good work.
MoreNice Italian restaurant. We had the rissotto and a pizza, probably the best Italian we had in Vietnam.Offers 1 free appetizer or buy1get1 beer.
MoreWe wanted a quick dinner and this was ideal place surprising with attentive waitresses, extra starter and dessert and price was lowest in a few days. At the end the owner asked us about the food and what are our plans in Vietnam. We had risotto and curry, but pizzas here looked delicious too.
MoreReally good food. It does offer some Vietnamese dishes amount the majority of western ones. Both sides of the menu are incredibly tasty, especially the club sandwich. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They did make a slight error with out order but this was ammended.
MoreDecent food choice. Well trained staff.Nice restaurant, lots of air circulating, no air con, but lots of fans.Clean and tidy.Food was good, but slightly more expensive than your standard local dish. Some good choice outside the mains menu, drinks, desert etc.
MoreI had a caprichosa pizza large size and a glass of local beer. Pizza was not a copy from other part of world. It was a pizza of ordinary and everybody average thumb-up pizza in anywhere on earth. I do not know it is the best in Hue or Vietnam or whatever. I like this pizza. Happy hour gives passion fruits 10:30 to 17:00. From 17:00 to 22:30 , it gives bruschetta. Though I do not likesome points. Beware it’s happy hour sign. It confused me free beer. This 139,000 don , us$6 pizza costs twice as much as reasonable local foods. Does it worth, or is it a good deal?
MoreThis place is over-rated by people who know nothing about food. The Bun Bo Hue here tastes like watered down instant noodle soup, very little beef and noodle, and nothing else, no green vegetables at all. I might as well ate instant noodle. As can see in this photo taken before eating, hardly any meat in it, maybe 1 ounce or less, the few small pieces of meat were very thin, even the noodle is small amount. There was nothing else came with it. Scammed me of VND 55,000.I tasted what seemed like instant chicken soup powder with MSG. I had much better Bun Bo in much cheaper restaurants in Vietnam.Dont blindly believe high ratings given by stupid people with bad taste.Check out my reviews of Jalapeno restaurants and Kanagroo Hues Bun Bo Hue, they were much better in many ways, they came with plate of green vegetables and a cloth napkin for about same price.Kangaroo Hues Bun Bo was only VND 39,000, the bowl was small but it was full and it every bit was excellent, and their services were better than this hyped joint.
MoreGreat pizza and risotto. Lovely service. Really enjoyed our meal here.
Happy hour between 5pm and 10pm with free bruchetta when you order a meal. I ordered the risotto with mushrooms and chicken (see photo. However the risotto was not so tastefull, because it lacked enough mushrooms. However the risotto with bacon and chorizo (see picturemy girlfriend ordered was good.
MoreService is great since the waitresses are so nice and attentive, chef is Vietnamese but nice things happen here. Bruschetta, so toasted bread with tomato and garlic, on arrival. Ive seen Italian people enjoying this restaurants food so you can easily come and have your dish. Had carbonara pasta and pizza with artichokes and olives, both good thinking about what kind of restaurant this is. With a large pizza, as I had one, it comes a glass of wine or beer on tha house which is always nice. Its an ok place so dont expect awesome quality but it was good. Liked so much that came 2 times in 24hrs.
MoreVery good food, lots of free snacks and very nice staff. The bathroom is also clean and fresh. The garlic bread tasted a little odd but was still good.
MoreVery tasty food and friendly staff. At the happy hour (5pm-10pmyou get free bruschetta and passionfruit as dessert. Great vaue for money!
MoreHad a great dinner here! Delicious pizzas! Reasonable prices & kind staff... If youre looking for some Italian food in Hue: look no further. Well try to come back before heading south.
MoreWhat a lovely restaurant!Cozy place, such friendly staff :)The pizzas are just heaven, so crispy and made with fresh products. The free brusschetta is very tasty and the free passionfruit is a nice bonus at the end :)If you like italian food, this place should definitely be on top of your list!
MoreBest pizza Ive had in a very long time (Ive been traveling for over four months now Australia and SEA). We had the pomodoro one and it was just perfect. Totally recommended if you want to eat a good pizza. Also you get a free glass of beer, bruschettas and passion fruit for dessert wich is a really nice plus.
MoreVery delicious Pizza, they offer free bruschettafree fruit plates! Still reasonable price and quick service.
MoreBest pizza in Vietnam! If youve had your fair share of bahn mi and pho bo: give this restaurant a try. The pizzas are excellent and the service as well. The happy hour (free appetizer and desert, and a free drink with a large pizzais a nice bonus, but the thin and crusty pizzas speak for themselves.
